It's not easy accessing the entrance if you don't know where it is. Especially your first time there. It is easy to miss and drive right past. But once you get there, everything and everyone was very nice.

Restaurant isn't very good. Not many options on the menu as far as dinner entres and more like a sports bar. The man working at the bar who is the waiter/server as well wasn't very nice and really grumpy.

Hampton Inns are reliable, comfortable and clean hotels and this was no different although the staffing was minimal. The front desk clerk went above and beyond when we had a small problem with our room. The food was good although the delivery system seemed hampered by staff shortages. We’ve now stayed at both Hampton Inns in Frederick and can recommend either one. This one has a large outdoor pool and full restaurant menu.

Hampton Inns are reliable, comfortable and clean hotels and this was no different although the staffing was minimal. After an 8 hour drive liked the fact there was a restaurant on the premises. Not the best but OK but did not require any additional driving to eat.. Also stayed there on New Years Day and was so dissapointed the restaurant was closed for the holidys. On both of our stays found the included breakfast to be enjoyable especially how the tables were set up. Did not like there was only 1 desk chair. A lot of places we stay at have both a sitting chair and a desk chair. Plan to return this January 1 on our way to the auto train.

Our stay was from Dec 22-Dec 25. It was very nice. The bar/restaurant was closed for the holidays but there are ample choices of other restaurants and bars. Housekeeping was also basically off (just cleaning rooms as people checked out) but the front desk attendant told us that if we needed clean towels, etc., to just ask and they would bring them to us. We did have to switch rooms within 15 mins of getting up there because the bed was broken, but they moved us down 2 rooms so it wasn't too much inconvenience (the 2nd room was better anyway!) Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn breakfast. Waffles and other stuff. Overall, I would stay again!

This property needs major upgrades in Hallways, bathrooms and rooms. The bar in the back was great and service was great! But please upgrade everything especially the outdoor seating as well.

It was convenient/close to the area we were visiting. Breakfast was good and woman kept everthing clean and well supplied. Some things we didn't like; entrance to hotel not clear. Room dusy and sweeper was clearly not run. Stairwell was very dirty.

The room could have been a lot cleaner . In front of the bathtub near the was very dirty all the way across. The back of the bathroom door was very dirty. Someone needs to check the cleaning. We pay how much for rooms they should be clean . No one was checking the breakfast area chair arms dirty and chair seat very worn out , when you sat down you were so low . In need of a serious remodel.

The check-in staff was EXCELLENT. There were 3 ladies: 2 regulars and a Trainee. All of them were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. I've stayed here many times before and like it. They have a really good restaurant menu, but it is outside in a detached gazebo bar. Not very comfortable for a family or single lady, but they do have to-go. This time, however, I was disappointed in the cleanliness. My room was surface clean, but looking deeper there was hair in the soap dish and tub, filthy light switches, fingerprints on mirrors, etc. AND moldy wallpaper peeling in the room! Not the bathroom, the bedroom! This is a failing of room service and maintenance. Disappointed.

Katasha was excellent as a front-desk person. Very kind and professional she needs a raise. The place needs new carpets and pillows. Carpet looks like its 30’years old. Not good. It is clean but the carpets in the rooms and halls make it look terrible.

The property has a hallway under remodel and we were stuck in that hallway. Our room was filthy, lights burned out, one exploded in the bathroom. Very difficult to get in and out of the parking as roads are very busy and access is only one small driveway which is poorly marked and requires a u turn if coming from one direction. Room was relatively dated and dingy. Would not recommend this establishment

It looks like the management of this hotel has given up on maintenance and upkeep. Some many little details not in good condition, but worst of all my room had a big open space that looked like once had a dishwasher but now is just a big cavity next to the bed. Pretty rough

The heater / ac unit was extremely LOUD. Made it impossible to sleep. Also, it’s imbedded into the ceiling. And it has a red light and / or a green light that also makes it impossible to sleep, shining straight down. Would never return, even if they paid me.

The hotel was not what i was expecting. Staff was attentive enough and did their job well. But the overall experience was just lacking for the price we paid for a room. Rooms are small, dated, slightly musty. Parking is awful unless you arrive before 5pm. No cribs. The best thing about the hotel is how close (by car) you are to a bunch of good restaurants.

Everything was great. The staff went above and beyond. Even when I came in late the staff took the time to brew a fresh batch of coffee just for me. They answered every question since I was in town to coach in a 17U boys baseball tournament.

Staff was always friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was so comfortable! Loved the shampoo and conditioner :) great water pressure! Awesome pool! Wished the bar stayed open regardless of amount of patrons. Loved free breakfast! We will be back!

Front Desk sent a text to ask if my room was okay and obviously made a direct connection for any possible upcoming needs or concerns. She was also very hospitable at check-in. Bathroom toilet is a little too close to the floor for my comfort and water pressure not strong enough for a quick shower. The room is at a comfortable temperature, the TV is large and the bed linen looks clean.

Had to wait for front desk staff to return to the front desk to check in and check out. Granted it was probably five minutes both times but still, I thought it was very unprofessional, esp. when I went to check out at 10:50a and check out was at 11a. Wouldn't you expect someone to be there that close to check out time?

The front desk staff especially Nicole was wonderful! She was the nicest and most helpful front desk staff member!

It was convenient/close to the area we were visiting. Breakfast was good and woman kept everthing clean and well supplied. Some things we didn't like; entrance to hotel not clear. Room dusy and sweeper was clearly not run. Stairwell was very dirty.

It's not easy accessing the entrance if you don't know where it is. Especially your first time there. It is easy to miss and drive right past. But once you get there, everything and everyone was very nice.

Very accommodating. The check in staff was exceptional. Turn down service was great. The property is adjacent to a lot of historic sites and good restaurants.

My son and I stayed here for a 3 day wedding. It was 1/2 way between the 2 locations we needed to be. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and a great location for our venues in Leesburg, VA & Frederick, MD. Although we didn't get to visit the Beacon Bar onsite, it looked like a lot of fun.

Staff was always friendly and helpful. Room was very nice and clean. Bed was so comfortable! Loved the shampoo and conditioner :) great water pressure! Awesome pool! Wished the bar stayed open regardless of amount of patrons. Loved free breakfast! We will be back!

Restaurant isn't very good. Not many options on the menu as far as dinner entres and more like a sports bar. The man working at the bar who is the waiter/server as well wasn't very nice and really grumpy.

Please be aware that the breakfast here is probably worse than a typical fast food breakfast. If you are okay with cereal or waffles and coffee then you will find it adequate. However, the "western omelette" potatoes and breakfast meats are pretty much gross. And the staff seemed to have little interest in helping guests with the most basic request. Rooms were clean and acceptable. But not significantly better than lower price competitors. The logistics of entering and exiting the facility were cumbersome.

After an 8 hour drive liked the fact there was a restaurant on the premises. Not the best but OK but did not require any additional driving to eat.. Also stayed there on New Years Day and was so dissapointed the restaurant was closed for the holidys. On both of our stays found the included breakfast to be enjoyable especially how the tables were set up. Did not like there was only 1 desk chair. A lot of places we stay at have both a sitting chair and a desk chair. Plan to return this January 1 on our way to the auto train.

Our stay was from Dec 22-Dec 25. It was very nice. The bar/restaurant was closed for the holidays but there are ample choices of other restaurants and bars. Housekeeping was also basically off (just cleaning rooms as people checked out) but the front desk attendant told us that if we needed clean towels, etc., to just ask and they would bring them to us. We did have to switch rooms within 15 mins of getting up there because the bed was broken, but they moved us down 2 rooms so it wasn't too much inconvenience (the 2nd room was better anyway!) Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn breakfast. Waffles and other stuff. Overall, I would stay again!

Some of the room supplies were not replenished prior to our arrival. They advertise coffee being available in the lobby, however in the morning when I got up for an early flight, the coffee was cold from the night before. No coffee in the am = not staying here ever again. You had one job!

the frt desk staff was outstanding friendly,helpfull,made you feel like you do when talking with youre friends,breakfast each day was more than adequate,went to restuarante and was not what i would want to eat at,in closing the cleaning staff was friendly and we had no bad expirences with our room in that regard,if in the area again we would stay there we were there for thee nights,ty Cara for our stay,

This property is pretty old and tired. The decking outside around the pool and outdoor bar are in horrible condition. I tripped on a rotted piece of wood and there was a missing slat my dog could have broken her leg on. Yes we were walking at dark. Very poorly lit. The fitness center was depressing. The breakfast was pretty good as far as the fast food breakfasts go. The kitchen staff and front desk staff were great. While I was returning to go to the 3rd flr. from breakfast carrying 2 cups of coffee and a plate of food there were 3 men at the elevator and one turned to tell me they were running a test and the elevator couldn't be used. After being surprised at this I turned to walk towards the stairs when another one of the men told me there was another elevator that I could use. It was the service elevator which was pretty gross but better than trying to walk up 3 flights of stairs with hot coffee and food. Why the man that told me the elevators were shut down couldn't have told me this I don't know but it left a crummy feeling about the situation. It was 7:00am. Odd time to run a test. This is a pet friendly hotel which is nice but they didn't really have anywhere to walk the dogs or a dog area. The grounds were pretty littered with cig butts etc. Lastly when I booked the hotel I made sure it had a restaurant. I knew we would be pulling in around 8:30pm and would be hungry. We were in a truck pulling a UTV behind us so parking and maneuvering aren't great. Closed on Sun!!

Hotel was clean and staff was very friendly. They put a lot of pride into decorating for the 4th of July/250th celebration. The hotel was clean, but dated. Room looked like it was out of the late 80s early 90s. That said the room was well maintained and looked and smelled clean. Breakfast buffet was average to below average for a free hotel buffet. We didn't use the bar, but heard good reviews from others there. I'd stay again for a quick stop over with good highway access.
