Quality Inn Oceanfront

We loved staying here for a lot of reasons: two pools (one inside which we used because it was unseasonably cool outside), beachfront, balcony, and hot tubs! Also, had rooms with two queens and a pull out couch. It's definitely a throwback vibe (old hotel), but I found that charming. I didn't love the parrots and fish in such unnatural restricted environments, but the kids did. Overall, I would stay here again for all the amenities.

For the two full days I was there the guest elevator was out of order forcing the guests AND the workers to use the only available service elevator. Waits for use of the elevator could be as high as 15 minutes. Also the air conditioning was broken. Complaints to the front desk were met with "it\'s not my fault"

Excellent view from ocean balcony and easy beach access. Beds are very comfortable and plush with good pillows. Kitchen is adequate and nice. Staff is very nice Laundry machines available. The rooms DESPERATELY need new carpets and bathrooms need to be upgraded. In general it is very nice and the staff does a great job, it just needs upgrades like carpet and furniture in the rooms.

This was one of the first properties that I stayed at where you could walk right out of your balcony to the beach. Too many kids in the hot tubs babies with diapers. They had signs up, but no one enforced them. The birds were very nice. That was very neat attraction Also the hot tubs were rather fake. The Jets were just rigged so bubbles will come out. They weren’t hooked to the pump system. There were no jets in the hot tub. It was just for show. The indoor heated pool was about 50°. The outdoor pool was nice and large, but still kind of cold. Booking through Expedia is a joke. You forfeit your points for a choice hotels they won’t even look up if you’re a gold platinum or any kind of member also, there was a difference booking through the hotel and Expedia I could’ve saved $300 booking straight through the hotel.

The staff was absolutely wonderful—very friendly and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful and very kid-friendly, which we really appreciated. The kitchenette with appliances and dishes was a nice touch, though I had brought my own. I also really enjoyed the free coffee and found the laundry room very convenient. That said, I do think there’s room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness. There were a few stains on the bedding and on the bathroom wall that could have been addressed more thoroughly. Also, the pool closed an hour earlier than scheduled for maintenance just as my family was about to use it, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great service, and with a bit more attention to detail, it could be even better.

We really loved the birds and other animals at the hotel. The service was quick and responsive. Hot tubs were small not very deep. The pools is nice and has a deep end. Great access to ocean

Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Hotel is old and dated but that wasn’t the issue Filthy would be the best word to describe the hotel. Everything about it was dirty. Room, hallways, pool area ( indoor pool cloudy and dirty looking) lobby was clean though .

Pool area needs to be refurbished and cleaned pool and was cloudy.

Very nice unique courtyard. Excellent staff and service. Coffee machine available all the time conveniently located by the enter to the beach. Definitely top of ours next year destination.

It has a beautiful view of fish swimming and parrots that say hello. Two indoor hot tubs. Indoor swimming pool . Out door swimming and steps away from the beach and ocean.

it was really good! they helped my with everything i needed and were very nice and respectful!! would 100% stay there again!

Shower head and curtain were broke when we arrived. They fixed the shower curtain 3 days later. Never fixed the shower head. Sheets were stained. The hotel hasn’t been updated in a long time

The staff is wonderfully accommodating and friendly (except in Bar area) The hotel just needs to be cleaned more thoroughly. I see people cleaning up all day but there are red splatters all inside and out of the elevators and up the walls The coffee area is not being sanitized regularly, bottles and trash behind the bedside table in the first room we were assigned and an atrocious odor from a previous guest. The new room was better. The sand dunes are barron and filled with trash, while the hotels on either side have lush sand dunes as far as the eye can see and the sand area between the back of the hotel and the dunes is full of cigarettes, animal feces, food, and trash. I didn't see anyone raking the sand or picking up anything out there and its a shame to look down from your balcony and see the sand so polluted. I hate to say anything negative about the place because the staff is so lovely but cleaning and sanitizing often used facilities needs more attention.

Great customer service. View of fish and birds were nice and food ordered at bar was excellent. However, room was not thoroughly cleaned dust covered all appliances, comforter had stains (this was resolved), bath and shower faucet was not operable enough to balance out water. You either got cold water or hot water only and very little flow. Room smell awful.

The chlorine smell, and the Very musty odors throughout the building. The carpeting in the hallways and rooms was disgusting. The whole place needs a good cleaning. But Dustin events in the room was also disgusting.

When we first got there we had to change rooms because the toilet seat was not clean. When I got to the second room I noticed that the pillow case on one of the pillows was dirty. Then in the bathroom I noticed that one of the hand towels was not clean. Other than that the room was nice and clean. The WiFi kept going out. The food was very good at the restaurant in the hotel and the workers were very nice.

Not clean at all. Hair was all over the shower & floor. Water pressure was extremely low. Carpet wasnt clean. This hotel really needs a makeover

Needs major upgrade!!! Bathroom had mold. Beds are old! Room in general is not good at all!!!! Walls were stained furniture and kitchen need some major upgrades

Staff was friendly, but the condition of our room was not so great. Their AC system was marginal at keeping the room cool enough to sleep. The Sliding door broke on day 1 leaving me stranded on the balcony for a bit, they did fix it quicky, but the door didn't shut fully after that. Days 2 and 3 it was too hot for me to sleep, they gave us a fan that helped, but it was still very hot. My kids loved the pools, and the food and drink as well as the service were great. Also the turtles, coy, and birds were a favorite of my family. All in all it was a nice stay minus sleeping at night.

The pools, and overall hotel quality was great. But the room ac wasn’t working properly. We were sweating inside our room even with the ac on blast and lowest temperature. We called to get moved or fixed they said they couldn’t do nothing about it. They offered a cheap fan that didn’t do much. We legitimately sweated the whole night and I have two kids ( 1 year old and a 2 year old) without shirts or anything and they were sweating. We tried talking to a manager for some type of solution and they completely ignored us after and never offered anything. Ridiculous

Beachfront property, indoor/outdoor pool was a plus. Walking distance to lots of food/restaurants and activities - great location. Room was outdated and noise carried through the atrium to our room early in the am. When we first checked in, our room had a wet carpet and the door would not lock. I addressed with the front staff and they quickly had another room for us.

Everything was pretty good except we didn't have any heat in room 234. But fortunately we brought extra blankets. Otherwise the experience was good

Pretty outdated, and not clean. I usually don’t care about a hotel being outdated as long as it’s clean, but this one was not clean at all. My main problem was the non working AC, and the attitude from the staff. The first night I woke up and noticed the room wasn’t as cool, but I thought maybe the settings were just not as cool for night time. We woke up the next morning and headed to the beach right away. Upon returning to the room, I noticed the room felt not cool at all. I asked my partner to go and notify them. They sent a maintenance man to basically tell us that the system is old and there’s nothing he can do but give us fans. I found that to be an unacceptable solution, so I went to the lobby to speak with staff. The lady at the front started by asking me why I hadn’t said anything during the night to which I said that it was in the middle of the night and I just went back to sleep. She then kept on trying to make excuses and basically blame me for their non working AC. The biggest excuse being that it was hot outside, to which I replied that I’ve stayed at places much warmer than OC and did not have issues like this. She replied “well every hotel is different.” The back and forth was unnecessary and a simple apology for the non working AC and a proper solution would have been nice. They then offered a smaller room which was just as “cool” as the room we were staying in, so obviously I declined. We checked out early and got a different hotel!

Moldy bathroom room kept getting damp everywhere

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay! The Wi-Fi was not the best - could use an upgrade...

I loved the size of the room the bed and pillows were excellent the balcony and oceanfront were everything I was looking for.

When we arrived - the two people working at front desk were super nice! Our room had a beautiful view and was very clean. Front desk also gave us some good information about the bus stop and future booking. We enjoyed seeing the birds and turtles on the first floor as well. We would stay here again!

I was surprised at how comfortable the beds were and oceanfront room had incredible views. Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. They even allowed us to check in 2 hours early at no additional charge. We also extended our stay last minute and although our current room was booked, they said give them 30 mins and let them see what they could do, and they ended up working it out so that we could stay in our existing room without having to switch rooms. We told them that wouodnt be a problem at all to switch rooms but they went above and beyond to keep us in the same room to alleviate the burden of packing up and switching rooms. Great staff, great hotel and amenities. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially for families with young children. Oh, and the restaurant was EXTREMELY affordable!

Love the location of this Hotel... the front desk lady not very helpful and rude... but the maintenance people were great. I booked a king’s bed room and ended up moving to a double bed room because the air conditioning wasn't working, they gave me a worse room and at the last floor... not what i payed for. Totally disappointed experience.!!! Stay in a better hote, don't waste your money.

Great hotel, affordable, great location. Mary at the front desk was awesome. This hotel is truly a gem!! I’ve stayed at many hotels through the years, this one is number one on our list. Family friendly.

Staff is always welcoming and accommodating. We wanted to stay an extra night, and she made it happen. In over 10 years of coming to Ocean City, this is the only hotel we stay at. 5 stars all the way!

Staff was friendly and helpful, room was really clean, cafe was convenient, steps to the beach and walking distance to some restaurants. Only negative thing to say, some of the cabinet doors in the room were falling off (just needed a few screws), but we didn’t use the cabinets anyway so no big deal.

This hotel is at a great location! It was so easy to walk right into the beach everyday. My kids loved the two pools. There are many dining options near by.

We stay here often for short getaways. Not the most modern but it is clean and comfortable which for us is most important. The staff is friendly and very helpful. We like having the kitchenette and pools. Good location too.

Great location in OC!

Great for our family of four. Right by the beach, sand in your front yard and quiet at night.

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend and had a great time. The kids loved the indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs. It’s right on the beach and away from the main boardwalk so the beach wasn’t over crowded. When we did want to go to the boardwalk it was a short drive and there were plenty of restaurants and activities to choose from. When we needed extra linens the staff made sure it got to us quickly. The room was perfect for the family, having the little kitchen was nice. We’ll definitely be back to OC and this will be our first choice to stay at!

Located right on the beach. Good location midtown to both Seacrets and Fager's. Love the atrium with the birds.

This hotel is perfectly situated right on the beach, and the oceanfront rooms are fantastic.

Great location

I was actually surprised how nice the property was, it’s so pretty on the inside and very clean. The balconies are fairly private and have a great view of the beach. The staff comes to help you really quickly with whatever you ask. There is a walk up bar/restaurant in the atrium that has good food at pretty good prices. This might be my new favorite hotel in Ocean City. I will definitely be returning.

I liked that I could get something to eat right in the hotel without stopping somewhere else. I loved the ocean view from my room. The tropical birds and fish pond were a treat, although I hope you let them out to fly around a bit. Parking on premesis was convenient. The folks at the front desk were extremely professional and kind. The room was clean and organized. I would say it could use some updating in the bathroom, but it does have everything you need. The price point was great for me. I would like to stay again next year, but in a room higher up with ocean view, the palm trees while beautiful blocked my view.

Highly recommend! It is such a fun hotel and right in the beach. They literally had someone cleaning and sweeping the entrances all day. We loved the pools and the animals in the atrium were a nice touch. Also LOVED the free coffee all day long ☺️

The facility was ok. It’s old and you can tell they patch things up. The shower had mold in the ceiling and tile. They painted over stuff. The staff was friendly. The cafe was nice and pleasant. Good food and drinks.

We enjoyed the oceanfront view, pool, atrium and even got to hold the Macaw they had!!! We enjoyed the pool up until we found a roach crawling on the emergency float. We also had our toilet clogged which took over 30 mins and 2 calls to get handled. The maintenance guy was super nice and got it fixed in seconds, it’s just the principal of the situation.

The property need some room up to date specially in the bathroom. The WiFi is not available or hand over at the check in time , you have to inquiry the front desk for it one you notice you don’t have WiFi access. Very easy to fine parking. The bar/coffee area extremely nice environment and the meals are very well presented and the price is reasonable, the bar staff is costumer oriented and fast.we were only two nights and the housekeeping service was provided for free, I didn’t expected it , they added many extra towels. Over all the hotel is a good balance cost /benefit I will come back.

It was family friendly, but few choices for meals without getting in the car

Loved the atrium area- the Cafe was great. The staff at Cafe and front desk were very pleasant. Our experience with the parrots was a bonus.
