Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Salisbury, MD

The room we stayed in was newly renovated. We really liked the bathroom renovations - granite countertop, modern vanity, rain shower head, quality fixtures. The mini fridge freezer and fridge also worked really well, although the cabinet housing it was rather tired. The indoor pool is well-maintained and even has a lift for the disabled. We also had excellent housekeeping (we were there 8 days). They continue to serve a substantial breakfast every morning (eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, belgian waffles, bagels, pastries, yogurt, cereal, juices, fruit). The only really con in our view is the lobby and staircase, both of which were so worn we almost walked out when we first arrived.

This property was pretty nice. The people working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t get the chance to check out the pool. The shower in our room leaked from the back, our room keys died when kept in our walllets (but near our phones), they ran out of bathroom towels at one point (they were in the laundry), and the elevator was sus. Definitely not the nicest place that we have stayed, but pleasantly sufficient for a weekend.

The indoor pool was a big reason I picked this hotel. It was closed most of the time during our stay.

Enjoyed the pool and spa. Love the location for a couple of shorebirds games.

location is convenient and staffs are nice. Room was not clean and moldy in the shower and floor was not clean. I took photos and showed the front desk. They cleaned it and is better, but still moldy. One of the reasons we booked this hotel because of the hot tub, but jets were not working.

Hotel was great for a 2 night stay to visit our son at college. Pool and hot tub were nice. No complaints would only recommend updating cable service. Channels were grainy. Definitely plan to stay again.

Either Hotels.com or Country Inn & Suites in Salisbury need to update the online listings. When families look to book hotels, we look for pools! And the first picture on the Hotels.com profile for Country Inn & Suites was a picture of a very nice indoor pool. Of course when we arrive the kids are excited and run down to the door to the pool only to find out it is under construction and completely CLOSED! Someone needs to figure out how to update this information online in a timely fashion. Started our trip off on a bad foot. PLUS the front desk person we dealt with was not empathetic at all - blaming it on everyone else and not even apologizing for our situation. She could have been WAY more pleasant. Not sure I would stay here again even though the rest of the facility was nice. The shower was actually really nice.

Black hairs all over the bathroom floor when we arrived. Questionable brown mark behind the toilet. Curtains had stains on them. Ac unit leaking fluid. Room smelled bad. The room had a cheap lock door between the room next to you that was unsafe we placed our luggage there for back up protection. The tub in the bathroom is shaped weird and felt like we were going to fall when showering. Property had broken tile floors. Would not stay here again.

The room was not cleaned well. Microwave is rusted. Caninet area with mocrowave full of dust. Cieling looks stained, maybe mold? Windows to room terribly stained, disrupted view. Coffee pit in room stained terribly, did not appear to have been cleaned in a while. The breakfast was very basic, salty eggs, and just biscuits and gravy, no meats. Room service only cleaned bathroom, bed was not made and i oartially made myself. Staff would not accomodate extended stay. Told me i had to check iut amd come back rather than exte di g or seeking options to help me with my situation meeded due to family matter. I have stayed here and at others theoughout the country wjen i travel. This one is by far the worst experience ever. I will not stay here ever again.

It needs to be updated and renovated. The refrigerator in the room didn’t work so the manager said the room wasn’t used in months. If that was the case then there was plenty of time to update and clean the room. There was dirt and rocks in the floor - very dirty, dead bugs in the room around the heater unit, no trash can in the bathroom, the faucet literally was not the right size on the vanity and moved around in my hand, the repair job around the tub and vanity in the bathroom was awful as caulking was about three layers thick and not smooth, missing tiles on the floorboard and hair all over the bathroom tub upon arrival. Under normal conditions we would have left immediately but we’re in town for a cheer competition and was on a very tight schedule so finding another hotel wasn’t an option.

Upon entering the hotel there is an odor. The room was dirty. There is urine caked around the toilet, The shower head is broken, curtain is ripped, shower door filthy, red chair has stains on it, tv horrible clarity, and bagels has mold on them. Will never stay again.

The size of the room was great, so was the bathroom. The floor to the room was clearly not swept well, if at all. Bed covers appeared to only be sheets…coverage was very thin. Bed itself was comfortable. Pillows were less than desirable. With a little remodeling, the room has great potential.

Bugs on wall and bug droppings under sheets. Torn bed skirt l tripped on. Dresser holding t.v. not bolted to wall and almost fell on me! Told manager he said carpet was recently taken up and that's why it wobbles! I am handicapped and shower was too slippery to use! The only person who helped me was a very nice hispanic lady in dining area. Very disappointed. Room 110

Not the worst but we did see a roach in the hallway.

Immediately entering the hotel it smelled like weed. The elevator does a questionable drop around floor 2. The hallways were filled with trash, littered with bottles, etc. The rooms have an overall grungy feeling and the air quality is not good. Woke up every morning feeling sticky from moisture in the air.

Room was clean and comfortable - BUT there was ZERO hot water in the shower and the front desk took note but did not seem overly concerned.

It was close to Wicomico civic center The room was descent for the night. The AC was very loud. Sounded like it was dying

I was unhappy that the rooms are not carpeted. We had a ground floor room. But lack of carpeting upstairs did not deaden the noise, Heavy footsteps and people dropping things. The bathroom sink in our room hardly drained at all, very inconvenient.

Love the location and proximity to SU campus, but the lack of carpet in the room was definitely a problem. With wood plank flooring you can hear everything above you. The guests staying above our room were up at 4 am and we could not get back to sleep. Everything else about our stay was great, but I can't say that we will go back anytime soon considering the noise issue.

The most uncomfortable bed I have slept in. The middle of the mattress was completely sunken in the middle.

The room was nice, reasonable in price, but the bed/mattresses were old/hard. Many "lesser' expensive hotels do not realize the importance of the bed. This is why were staying. To sleep! Put $$ in bedding, not whistles & bells. Thank you!

The A/C unit in our room was not working properly. It buzzed so loud we had to unplug it to sleep. Room and bed were nice..but, oh that noise. Very bad. Very loud people slamming doors around midnight, too.

I wouldn't stay at the Country Inn & Suites by Radisson in Salisbury, MD again. For the $270/night room, I found it to be dingy and underwhelming. The hotel lobby smelled very nice and was clean, but our actual room felt old and not cleaned properly. The room was tight and felt small, despite there being a living room area, despite being an accessible room. The pillows were awful - zero foam and flattened immediately. Additionally, I check every hotel room we stay in very carefully for bed bugs or other creatures and unfortunately we found what appeared to be one bed bug in the sheets (see photo) - but I didn't see it until the morning so we've gone through the heat/kill process with all our items we brought into the room. I didn't see anything at check-in otherwise we would have requested a new room then. The biggest issue, aside from a bed bug, was our shower's water temperature. Last night, it was scalding hot and couldn't regulate lower despite moving the handle. This morning, it was freezing, and again unable to be regulated no matter where you placed the handle. I even tried to see if the bathroom sink water would change the shower temperature if turned on but it had no affect. I was really disappointed when I informed Mike, the gentleman at the front desk this morning. He was very friendly, however dismissed the water temperature issue we had and said I really needed to 'fiddle' with the handle more and that their water is testy at times.

Welp... its a hotel. Definitely needs to be updated. It has that "old" smell, and you hear EVERYTHING. Doors slamming, people talking, beds moving. My son and I stayed for a baseball tournament, and all.the other spots were sold out. If i can help it, i wont stay here again.

No one was available at the front desk when I checked in or out. With check in, there was a sign at the front desk to call the hotel phone number which I did multiple times with no answer. When did get an answer was told that she was dealing with a maintenance issue and was on the phone with maintenance addressing the issue. No one at front desk on checkout. Again, called the main hotel number which was answered right away. Three staff members then walked out of the laundry room.

Hotel was good the young lady that checked us in did a great job. However the lady who was in charge of breakfast was rude and our final day we went down for breakfast around 815 and one of the trays that I’m assuming had some type of eggs was gone there was only 3 or 4 sausage links left the juice was out before I could turn around she was mumbling I’m not refilling anything once it’s gone it gone. And so I finished loading the car and left

The staff was great, the amenities are just enough home away from home.

The front desk was unmanned for 10 minutes when we arrived, so we were unable to check in. Breakfast included English muiffins, but there was no toaster!

I had to wait 10 minutes for someone at the front desk to check me in. He was kind, did apologize, but didn't seem too concerned I had to wait. The room was ok, needs some refreshing but quite large, comfortable had nice amenities. The breakfast was good, limited choices but had a good flavor. The floor in the eating area needed desperately to be cleaned, my shoes (flip flops) literally stuck to the floor...so much that one stayed stuck and my foot moved, but the shoe did not. I was carrying food and it slid off my plate onto the floor. Fortunately it did not cause a mess. I picked it up and tossed it away. The coffee was fresh and hot which is always a plus. I don't think I will return when I have future business in the area. Check out time is 11am, and at 10:04, housekeeping knocked on the door looking to come in and clean.

I have stayed herre multiple times when riding in the Seagull Century bike ride and visitng family. Staff friendly, meets all that I need.

Way, way too long of a wait time at check-in counter. When I walked in, nobody was there. I waited and waited and finally, made a phone call to the place. Someone picked up and said she would be right there. She wasn\'t "right there." She finally came down with cleaning products and said she was the only one here. She was friendly, though. Hotel was quite and breakfast was very good.

Convenient to where I needed to be the next day. Close to Berlin Md. Quiet little town. Close to casino in Berlin md.

Near fast food and gas stations if needed.

Checkin was easy and quick. Room was clean. Location was perfect. The text service was amazing- I texted for a blanket and within minutes there was a knock at the door.

Room and hotel itself was very average, but the cost was high. Breakfast was fair, fruit flies flying around the juice machine, had to ask to refill the coffee. When checking out, a receipt could only be emailed…I never received it, called the hotel when I returned home and requested it another be sent, and it never was.

Many of the towels in our room were dirty, the breakfast buffet was not of good quality, and the sanitizing wipes in the gym were turning orange/brown

The hotel itself was clean and comfortable. However, check in took forever. The desk clerk said her log in didn’t work and she was waiting for some kind of a text. The breakfast selection was terrible. If you’re looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay the night, this property was just fine.

June 9th check in .. the 2nd bed was broke on the right front side . The front wheel was already broken off and found underneath the bed . Went down to the front desk and advised . Black guy with dreads , states that they would fix in the morning NO CHARGE TO ME . I confirmed that and he stated correct as he was on the phone with his manager . We even brought them the piece . Also they are only offering continental breakfast as their kitchen area isn’t operable that is not listed on their website about the kitchen . Room said that an iron would be in the room and there was no iron available either . The room was very clean . The staff was friendly . Overall not having a hot breakfast available although their website states that they offer all to find out once we checked in that the kitchen wasn’t available was not good . So I ended up having to get breakfast each morning Across the street at Dunkin’ Donuts which was more money out to me .

Property was clean and managed well. Good choices for breakfast.
