Holiday Inn Express Washington DC Silver Spring by IHG

A clean room with a reasonably firm mattress. Overall, the bedroom and the bathroom were about comparable to a European style hotel - rather small by US standards. Hotel parking was limited, but there was a public garage adjacent to the property.

Arrived at 1:30 ...clerk told me "no check ins before 3." She didn't even try to see if any room was ready. Came back at 9....no parking available. I was here 5 months before....the renovations were still a mess....dust everywhere, workout room, equipment was in terrible shape....stairway was indescribably horrid....I come to Silver Spring several times a year....never again staying here. Actually, breakfast was good, but it's not worth it.

Starting the front desk guys to the restaurant server they were exceptionally great employees and they provided excellent service for all my needs.they deserve promotion and raise 🙏

Breakfast was good. Everything was clean. The staff were amazing. So helpful.

Room was very clean, staff was incredibly kind and caring. The property is undergoing renovations, making some things challenging. Not enough onsite parking, but the public parking garage right around the corner was very easy to use.
