Clean and quiet. A little dated but they are working on it. They replaced all of the old mattresses during our stay with very comfortable brand new mattresses. Excellent value and a great location. Nice pool and new lounge chairs. We had a room with a beautiful view of the sunrise and the marina. We also really enjoyed the in room hot tub. This is a very nice reasonably priced property for Solomons Island. The staff is very helpful and efficient.

The property was in a very quiet section of town. Anglers restaurant was just out back of the hotel. We did not eat there as we were there for a wedding but to have a restaurant in walking distance is nice. The property was clean and well maintained. We were in room 215. The door to our room was stuck and had to use such force to open it. Like it was painted shut. So every time we entered or left our room it would echo in the hallway from our door opening and trying to shut it quietly. The refrigerator had a pan under it, which we later found out the refrigerator would leak, hence the pan under it. You couldn't open the door to the fridge with out having to lift it above the pan. When we went to shower in the room we found there was no shower curtain which we had to go to the front desk and ask for one. There was tape covering the carpet that met the tile in our bathroom so we had to make sure not to trip on that. The ice machine did not work on the second floor, so we had to make trips to the first floor for ice. Not sure if I would stay for a extended amount of time like we did this trip but it was quiet and affordable for the area.

The room had lower quality furnishings. Metal bed frame. Lights, chairs, and dressers were well worn. The bathroom was small. Door had to be closed to enter shower. The cleanliness was ok. The laundry room was absolutely disgusting.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in. We ended up buying our own blanket to sleep with and checked out at 8 am Shower was gross Walls have painters tape around fixtures that have been there for awhile Blood on the bathroom floor grout Our door did not auto lock when exiting Dusty, dirty and grimy! I would like a full refund.

What a shame, great location but when you enter the room you say wow did I make a mistake. It’s a dump. Smells like mildew and smoke. The bed feels like a child bed you buy in a parking lot tent sale. They apparently tried to paint their showers? Paint was flaking off while I was showering… I booked 4 nights but I canceled after the first night

The hotel is in a great spot with beautiful water views. The front desk staff wasn’t great. No one was at the desk when I walked in. I rang the bell and waited. Then again and again. I rang the bell five times over five minutes and no one came. I then called the number to the hotel and still no one came to the desk until I called a second time. That was frustrating. The room was questionable when it comes to being clean. There were mascara stains on the pillow cases. The floor in the bathroom wasn’t clean, there was hair in the bed, the vents were dirty, there was no mattress protector, and some of the towels had noticeable dirt on them. The fridge was kind of yucky too.

The room just smelled musky. My husband and I had donuts and milk and there were two donuts left over and they were in a boxed container. The next morning we checked out and my husband hit an ant on his arm! I looked at the box and it had ants in it! In the room were ants!!! We had to throw them out.

The trip was nice until the last day. Went to sleep, and woke up to slugs in my bed. My fiancé was terrified. Although I was given a partial refund and an explanation due to the surroundings, she is still terrified and does not want to book another hotel any time in the future. :-(

The room was not clean when we entered our room after we checked in. The bath towels were used and dirty, the floor in the bathroom was filthy, the carpeting in the room didn’t appear to have been vacuumed.

The room did not have a ERV like most hotels have nowadays so the CO2 exceeded 800ppm while sleeping with 1 person in the room. Opening the window of course fixes that but could be an issue when cold outside. Fixing the distorted TV was accomplished from the side buttons for proper zoom aspect ratio since the remote was incompatible with ratio settings. Best regards Mark

The hotel stay was wonderful. Beautiful room and jacuzzi tub was great. The other complaint I have is that the fitted sheet refused to stay on the mattress. I was constantly having to fix it

Location is convenient, staff is friendly, rooms are fine but have definitely seen better days. I wouldn't pay normal prices, but for a cheap place to stay while commuting to the area in the off season, it's fine. Wifi works well and plenty of parking.

The rooms were dilapidated and run down. Paint was peeling off the ceilings and walls. The entire facility smelled like cigarettes even though they were sure to mention at check in 2-3 times there was no smoking on the premises. The bathroom door was severely damaged. The room entrance door would make a loud noise when it closed.

Very noisy 1st night, with kids yelling and running in the halls, parents loudly yelling after them, for hours. We finally contacted the front desk staff who resolved the issue. Staff very friendly and made sure all our needs were satisfied. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed, but had paper matress pad and ill-fitting sheets. The hotel really needs to invest in quality bedding. Bathroom could stand an update. Continentsl breakfast was all carbs, but adequate to start us on our way.

The stay was great right by the marina in Solomon's. I had a jacuzzi room but wish I hadn't splurged on it bc it was definitely not worth the added cost. The jets barely made any bubbles and were old and clunky. It felt like being in a basic bath. Other than that the room was nice. No rooms face west so you won't see the gorgeous sunsets over the river from this hotel.

The fire alarm went off several times during the night, and when I mentioned in on check out, the lady simply said she knew nothing about it. The man who checked me in the night before was very helpful, but the lady who checked me out was the opposite. My room had a fairly stale odor.

It was fine for our purposes. Clean enough. The staff was nice. There are some people living there and the first night we were there some children were running through the hallways yelling and slamming doors. That was not too bad but at about 10:00 two customers (one the parent of the aforementioned loud children) had a fight about making too much noise. This fight was right outside our door so was obviously disturbing. We did not have a smoke alarm in our room the first night just some open wires. We asked and they did install one.

This Hotel is terrible, its outdated, musty and way overpriced. The manager had her 4 children in the lobby bikering and making way to much noice for a place of buisness. We in fact never even slept in the hotel opting to go down the road to a more up to date facitly.

Great area, hotel needs some serious updating but, we enjoy staying there, folks are friendly as can be, helpful when needed, and just love the area.

The staff was friendly; the location of the hotel was perfect - totally accessible, a 10–15-minute walk to the main drag. I think the hotel decor was average, room comfort was okay, as well as room service. Price was okay, considering the location.

Warm and helpful staff, especially front desk Jennifer, who is very nice with us. Hotel itself has a good and convenient location: close to boardwalk, museum, restaurants, and grocery store! I’m willing to recommend it to my friends and other family members.

We wanted to get a room close to the Calvert Marine Museum for a concert. This hotel was perfectly located and fit the bill. Staff was friendly and for an older hotel the condition of the hotel is what would be expected.

The stag was good , staff is very helpful and friendly. I was told I’d get an email receipt but nothing? Shower fixtures are loose and water faucet is weird. Breakfast is ok but no toast, fruit or eggs I was told I’d get an email receipt but nothing Trakfast is ok but no toast,

This property was a bit old and was in need of some maintenance, such as paint. Although not necessarily unclean, there was a mildewy smell in the lobby when I first walked in. Overall, the quality was very poor. The platform beds had metal sticking out that my son bumped his knee on pretty badly, the pillows were small and so old they were lumpy like they were falling apart, so needless to say my back was killing me when I woke up. The disappointment did not stop there. When we went to breakfast, the hot water for tea was lukewarm, and the batter for the waffle iron came out with a bunch of gray watery liquid that looked absolutely horrible. I tried to siphon it out of the cup as my son really wanted waffles, but it made the batter so thin it dribbled almost completely out of the iron altogether. Just gross

The hotel is old and rooms are a little worn. But comfortable bed and great jacuzzi tub with a handicapped entrance if needed! The staff were wonderful! Made us feel comfortable and cared about!! The breakfast area was clean with just enough options. No hot foods except a waffle maker but the juice, coffee, cereal, yogurt, fruit and pastries were more than enough! We will definitely come back to charming Solomon’s Island and the Quality Inn!

The bed sheets had brown hair & did not appear clean. The tub in room needed cleaning. As a paying guest I did not like to have to clean or change the sheets! The complimentary breakfast had no protein only carbs. An healthy alternative, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, etc. would be nice.

The hotel is in a great location. It was very quiet and the marina and water is visible from the room. The ceiling in our room had experienced water damage and we could see that the roof had been replaced in the last few years, but the ceiling has not been properly repaired. We were disappointed with the continental breakfast. There was no fresh fruit, no cooked breakfast foods other than hardboiled eggs and you could make waffles if you wanted, which we didn't. Nothing was really wrong with anything, their idea of breakfast is just different than what I've been used to.

Very noisy 1st night, with kids yelling and running in the halls, parents loudly yelling after them, for hours. We finally contacted the front desk staff who resolved the issue. Staff very friendly and made sure all our needs were satisfied. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed, but had paper matress pad and ill-fitting sheets. The hotel really needs to invest in quality bedding. Bathroom could stand an update. Continentsl breakfast was all carbs, but adequate to start us on our way.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Cleanliness was an issue. Not very clean. The pool was nice and Anglers Restaurant is great just across the parking lot. Great location on Solomon’s Island.

Everything was good, standard hotel/motel stuff: little coffee pot, mini-fridge, microwave, tv,a/c - everything worked as expected, furniture, carpeting, lights, bathroom all looked newish and everything was very clean. Desk folk were pleasant, didn’t have much interaction. The big plus is the location, right by a huge marina (if you like looking at boats) and the Calvert Marine Museum- combines natural history and the commercial history of the area, has the Drum Point lighthouse (you can tour) and a boat tour of Patuxent Harbor, plus fossils, river otters, fish. Calvert Cliffs / Flag Pond parks are a 10 minute drive if you want to dig for fossils yourself. So: comfortable place, very reasonably priced, close to all sorts of stuff; definitely worth it.

Terribly loud and noisy outside my door 🚪 sometimes till 1:00 am!?. Some people I was told were residing there seemed to be the loudest. The entry ways were really loud and out back there was easily over week old garbage on the ground rite by the door! Three out of six no uninterrupted sleep 💤. Sincerely needs some employees replaced and crowd control at night!!. Sincerely I will never stay there again.

This is our go to when we visit Solomons. Quiet, peaceful, right on the marina. She's not super fancy but the staff is awesome, breakfast is included, and again, the view is perfect.

It was a nice play to stay. There were strange parking signs that made some spots exclusive, with no logical reason. The place needed a refresh but it was adequate.
