The price for it over homecoming while is based on demand doesn’t justify the amenities and value. Besides the fact that they clearly had issues with the locking system on the external doors from inside (against fire code) should be a red flag !!

Perfect location for staying to see a concert, they had a shuttle to drop us off and pick us up afterwards so we didn’t have to worry about finding parking or traffic after the concert.

My daughter and I stayed here for an open house event at U Maine. The room was clean and beds comfortable. We could not get the room temperature to be where we wanted it, and it seems to be warmer than we had hoped in the room. Also, walking down the halls there was a very strong smell of pot in the hallways. I’m not sure if that was there already or from people who were staying in the hotel, but it wasn’t a pleasant smell. Also, they were in the middle of fixing the elevator doors which were very slow, but they still worked so that was a plus. Overall, it was a good hotel, and I would stay there again because it was very convenient

The layout of the hotel itself was a little confusing. Getting to/from lobby and food felt like a maze. The hotel attached had VERY poor customer service and the food was lackluster. We were charged two rates for our two night stay so breakfast was included once but not both stays? Pool was what youd expect so no complaints there. Overall it wasnt my favorite stay but would go again if I didnt have other options.

Stayed for four nights. Convenient location. Building and courtyard incredibly clean. We were upgraded to a suite which gave us plenty of room. Staff helpful, room clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was the fire pit in the courtyard was turned off for the season. Weather was nice enough to sit outside each night after sightseeing and a fire would have been nice. Victoria at the front desk is an absolute asset to this location. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine.

Hotel was good really nice knowledgeable staff. Hotel was clean comfortable beds and breakfast was good. We used the bar, pool and workout facilities. The courtyard made things confusing didn’t always know your way. Need signs in hall way rather than the stair wells.

We booked a disability accessible room and it was damp and smelt strongly of mold, there was mildew too. When we pointed it out we were told our alternate was a 3rd floor room not accessible in any way. No apology or anything. There was also only one disabled parking spot on premise and that was in use by a motorcycle without a permit.

Not a great experience. We were double charged at the time of check in and told there was nothing they could do so I am still waiting on a refund on a second night we never asked for. We were also in town for a concert and were told there was a shuttle service, so we reserved it and went down at the designated time before being told it was “actually unavailable” so we had to get an uber and arrived late to the show. Not great!

walked into our room and the AC was leaking so the entire half of the room’s floor was completely soaked. AC made terrible noise keeping us up all night and then when it shut off it started dumping water all over. Not worth $300 for a nights stay.

Hotel was clean but a little old, rooms were big but very dark. Unfortunately there was a football team staying on our floor and they were quite loud, but seemed to calm down at 11pm. Overall, a nice hotel, staff was great.

Only complaint would be the doors on the rooms need some sort of stopper or rubber lining because when the door closes the wood door slams against the metal frame and is very loud and actually woke us up in the middle of the night when a door down the hall closed

Staff performed well in manual mode due to software outage. They must have been very anxious & frustrated but didn't let that interfere w/ good svc with a smile. A little creeped out by damp carpet in room which feels like uneven concrete covered by a thin layer of carpet. Great breakfast, clean bath.

I enjoy talking with front desk. Very personable. Breakfast choices are good. Coffee was delicious. Bed was comfortable. Thank you for being pet friendly. Didnt like that expedia.com sold me a pet friendly hotel room at the Holiday Inn but when I arrived there was a 30 dollar pet fee. FYI, the following night I stayed at the Quality Inn, they do not charge their customers an added fee.

There was a slight delay in getting into a room because it was February vacation and the housekeeping was extremely busy. We totally understood but because of the delay they gave us our meals for free. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

This property smells bad. Not only is it old, carpet smells horrible, there was a smell of marijuana coming from some rooms. There is a limited menu for breakfast. Staff is ok. Some are very friendly, some well, don't care. Would not stay there again.

the employee at the desk was amazing after us having issues at the hilton garden and aviator hotel while checking in we switch too holiday inn and it was so nice to finally get easily checked in to a hotel that cares about the guests.

Stayed for four nights. Convenient location. Building and courtyard incredibly clean. We were upgraded to a suite which gave us plenty of room. Staff helpful, room clean and comfortable. The only disappointment was the fire pit in the courtyard was turned off for the season. Weather was nice enough to sit outside each night after sightseeing and a fire would have been nice. Victoria at the front desk is an absolute asset to this location. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maine.

We booked a disability accessible room and it was damp and smelt strongly of mold, there was mildew too. When we pointed it out we were told our alternate was a 3rd floor room not accessible in any way. No apology or anything. There was also only one disabled parking spot on premise and that was in use by a motorcycle without a permit.

Not a great experience. We were double charged at the time of check in and told there was nothing they could do so I am still waiting on a refund on a second night we never asked for. We were also in town for a concert and were told there was a shuttle service, so we reserved it and went down at the designated time before being told it was “actually unavailable” so we had to get an uber and arrived late to the show. Not great!

Very convenient location! It’s within a few miles of the airport, shopping, colleges and major highways. It was nice to have a restaurant onsite and Dunkin Donuts is right next door. Quiet and relatively clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.

The location was convenient to the highway. The breakfast options on the menu left in our room looked great, but when we arrived, we were told they only had the buffet which was not as good as the menu offerings. The hostess was very gracious, and handled our disappointment well.

We spent 4 days and nights here in October. The Bangor location was quite good for our interests. Front end staff was exceptional. Room was clean and nice. Lots of amenities we didn’t take advantage of. If you stay and are looking for good food, check out Timber. It’s 1.6 miles from the hotel and excellent. We would absolutely stay at this Holiday Inn again.

Second time we’ve stayed here to see a concert at The Maine Savings amphitheater Very convenient, easy to get an Uber to the concert, bar opens at 4 and the bartender has been awesome, I believe her name was Kerry. Hotel is very clean and the beds are so comfortable Will definitely be back next summer when we see more concerts!!

I enjoy talking with front desk. Very personable. Breakfast choices are good. Coffee was delicious. Bed was comfortable. Thank you for being pet friendly. Didnt like that expedia.com sold me a pet friendly hotel room at the Holiday Inn but when I arrived there was a 30 dollar pet fee. FYI, the following night I stayed at the Quality Inn, they do not charge their customers an added fee.

We didn't eat breakfast. My complaint would be that breakfast should be served later on weekends. Who gets up from 7-9:30 am on weekends? Not me.

There was a slight delay in getting into a room because it was February vacation and the housekeeping was extremely busy. We totally understood but because of the delay they gave us our meals for free. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

This property smells bad. Not only is it old, carpet smells horrible, there was a smell of marijuana coming from some rooms. There is a limited menu for breakfast. Staff is ok. Some are very friendly, some well, don't care. Would not stay there again.

The layout of the hotel itself was a little confusing. Getting to/from lobby and food felt like a maze. The hotel attached had VERY poor customer service and the food was lackluster. We were charged two rates for our two night stay so breakfast was included once but not both stays? Pool was what youd expect so no complaints there. Overall it wasnt my favorite stay but would go again if I didnt have other options.

It's a decent hotel. A bit overpriced in my opinion, but decent. Our room had one tissue in the box and a few rounds of toilet paper, so I had to go to the front desk and ask for some. The pull out couch had sunflower seeds in it and the bedroom carpet had something really sharp in it, on the window side of the bed. I had to put a pillow down so I didn't step on it getting out of bed in the middle of the night. Overall, it's fine, but I think it could be cheaper. Breakfast was nothing special. $15.95 is a lot of money for what they offered. It should be included as it isn't anything fancy.

The staff was most helpful. The room was comfortable. I was extremely tired after driving 7 hours in one day. The hotel was very easy to find. Coming into Bangor on I-95 N the hotel was 2 short left turns off of I-95.
