Pros: Quiet location with ample parking, very nice staff, everything was clean, food was good, affordable price, nice indoor pool. Cons: Not much really. The beds could have been a little comfier and the pool could have been heated a little more, but overall it was a great place. We would go back.

Everything was good and we enjoyed our stay. The only issue that we had was that the first room we went to had black mold throughout the room and a very unpleasant smell. Thankfully we were able to switch rooms. Besides that our stay was good! Please have someone take care of that mold issue!

Our room was filthy. Dust, mop marks with dark residue over the floor, two spiders with webbing homes in the corners, shower had multiple pubic hairs, shower doors had scum on them… the list goes on. The restaurant was decent, our server was adorable but the manager was too busy sitting in a booth on her phone to help expedite or seat guests waiting at the host stand. Front desk staff was not pleasant, rather dismissive and rude. Disappointed in our stay, this management should be ashamed of themselves for allowing such sloppy and disgraceful presentation of their establishment.

Emma who was the housing staff took care of our room the day after we arrived. We had made a note indicating the shower floor and corners were completely filthy and just unacceptable for any guests to use. Emma was fantastic and did a lovely job to have it cleaned, she made us feel comfortable and safe. However, we had an unpleasant experience expressing our concerns about this issue with the individual named Eric at the front desk earlier the same day. I made a call to front desk in the am on the first day as I wanted confirm if they had gotten our note, that was called and given to the night time front desk about the issue with the shower floor. Erick was cold, Rude and had no sense of customer service off the top. Hope the calls are recorded cause it should be reviewed. He told me that he doesn’t work in housekeeping and can’t confirm, I said ok but can I make a note again with you cause this issue is really concerning. He was abrupt and didn’t want to listen. I was offended as a paying customer. I made my way to front desk to speak with him directly and is introduced myself, expressed that It’s inappropriate how he handled the call as we are all human beings that deserve to be treated with respect. He said I shouldn’t be telling him how to do his job, I realized at this point that my peace was said and left it at that. I came back to the room later in the day and received a note from Emma saying everything was clean. She made us feel seen.

The hotel was situated on a quiet hill surrounded by trees right outside the city, minutes from everything. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning!

Rooms were a little bit old. Some of our lights weren't working and were never fixed during our stay. Loved the area being close to a lot of dining and shopping options. But the facilities could use an upgrade.

We enjoyed our stay here, and rooms were very modern and clean. Staff was wonderful! It looked like it would be easy to order food if we wanted something from the restaurant portion of the hotel. Our only minor complaints were that the pool water was a bit on the chilly side while we were there, and there are no microwaves in the rooms.

Staff were friendly. Shower had weird leak which caused water to shoot out into the bathroom when turned on. Because I was on the second floor, I was able to hear the loud noise from people on the patio outside. From my room, I could look into other rooms and they could look into mine. No one asked me how my stay was when I checked out.

My room was on the second floor. The noise from the patio outside went on until 11 p.m. I had to turn on my bathroom fan and TV in an attempt to drown it out. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleep. The shower head wasn't attached correctly, causing the water to stream outside into the bathroom, making a mess. The desk person did not appear interested in whether I enjoyed my stay when I left. I won't go back.

This is my go-to location when traveling to the Portland area. The hotel is clean and modern, and the restaurant offers top-notch food and beverages for both breakfast and dinner. Service in both the hotel and restaurant were also exceptional.

One of the worst check in experiences I have ever encountered. Eric at the front counter was extremely rude, short tempered and unwilling to help with the simplest task. Started the whole experience off on the wrong foot. He had an attitude from the first hello and seemed inconvenienced to help us check in. Would give customer service no stars if I could. Room was mostly clean and bed was comfortable. Lots a small cosmetic issues such a chipped pain and dirty floors. Beware, if you’re a light sleeper the walls are very thin.

Upon arrival, I found the staff to be unwelcoming and disrespectful during the check-in process. Despite my requests, they were unresponsive and failed to address my needs. Furthermore, there was a lack of shower gel in the bathroom, and when I inquired, I was informed that I would have to wait for 30 minutes, but no one came to assist me. Due to this disappointing level of customer service, I cannot recommend this establishment

Emma who was the housing staff took care of our room the day after we arrived. We had made a note indicating the shower floor and corners were completely filthy and just unacceptable for any guests to use. Emma was fantastic and did a lovely job to have it cleaned, she made us feel comfortable and safe. However, we had an unpleasant experience expressing our concerns about this issue with the individual named Eric at the front desk earlier the same day. I made a call to front desk in the am on the first day as I wanted confirm if they had gotten our note, that was called and given to the night time front desk about the issue with the shower floor. Erick was cold, Rude and had no sense of customer service off the top. Hope the calls are recorded cause it should be reviewed. He told me that he doesn’t work in housekeeping and can’t confirm, I said ok but can I make a note again with you cause this issue is really concerning. He was abrupt and didn’t want to listen. I was offended as a paying customer. I made my way to front desk to speak with him directly and is introduced myself, expressed that It’s inappropriate how he handled the call as we are all human beings that deserve to be treated with respect. He said I shouldn’t be telling him how to do his job, I realized at this point that my peace was said and left it at that. I came back to the room later in the day and received a note from Emma saying everything was clean. She made us feel seen.

when we arrived, their was an event going on and it limited or had no parking for us arriving as a guest - the bathroom floor was dirty = the lady at the front desk was not welcoming - will never stay or recommend this place

Great hotel with lovely parking lot. The staff was marvelous and very accommodating as our family members were able to visit us there. They also allowed me to take their pool towel to the beach one day. All very helpful.

We had a fantastic stay in South Portland. The hotel was easy to find, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent for a short getaway for 2. All the shopping and restaurants we wanted to go to were very close. The hotel was very clean, and had a wonderful atmosphere.

The hotel was situated on a quiet hill surrounded by trees right outside the city, minutes from everything. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We will definitely be returning!

The hotel is convenient to the highway. The restaurant is excellent. Nice to have the free coffee in the morning. The staff are all very nice and friendly. However, it is not walkable to anything.

We were pleasantly surprised by the full bar with a number of craft cocktails and other great offerings and the food from the restaurant was awesome. Close to airport which made travel super easy.

Bathroom light fixtures dirty. Lamp shade had something red inside splattered. All over it. Didn’t clean the remote controls. Didn’t want to touch anything. Cleaned all surfaces myself. Better trained cleaning staff needed Restaurant was fine. Service was slow for dinner. food was just ok. Breakfast was great. Suggest the pizza guy wear gloves when handling pizza dough.

By far the best of the cluster of hotels serving the PWM trade, not the most expensive, it has a proper restaurant and a 24 hour shuttle where others have omitted hours.

Had to pay $16.20 to park in a large hotel owned parking lot that was free 2 years ago. This was after having to pay over $300 before taxes. The 2 Reception staff were on both on the phone at check-in while customers had to wait to check in. When I eventually did check in, I was not given the breakfast tickets for which I had paid in advance. Reception clerk also did not inform me how to get to my room. The elevator started at floor 2. My room, one the first floor ( turns out lobby level) was up a ramp that was not easily available from the registration desk. Had to go back to the clerk to find out where my room was. Room was clean. Rug had ragged parts. Shower spray cord did not work. Coffee supplies only had one 1/2-1/2 creamer for 2 guests when 4 would have been the correct number. Dinner at their restaurant was fine but the kitchen was very slow. Breakfast was a disaster. Restaurant was not full. Got coffee quickly. Didn’t get water until 45 minutes later after getting an empty glasses. Kitchen was Very, very slow. Waitress who took our order was almost invisible. Second waitress who eventually brought our food only gave us water when I mentioned that we were waiting for it for 45 minutes. Same waitress came 10 minutes later to give us someone else’s order while we were already eating our food .People sitting behind us also complained. It is clear that everything is broken at the Sheraton at Sable Oaks.
