Carlton Lodge Hotel and Suites

Our room was clean. Saw lots of team members cleaning and picking up. Check in was easy. Check out was early but easy.

This was a good option for a one night stay. One problem I found - South side door does not lock. It states that you need to use your key card to enter but I could just open the door and walk in. I tried this multiple times with the same result. Not safe for customers using this property. Management needs to correct this problem. Also, no early check-ins are allowed at this property.

I liked the peaceful setting of the Carlton- trees, flowers, quiet. Breakfast room was very pleasant, and the young woman supervising it was so friendly, a hard-worker, keeping everything tidy, clean.

Pool was closed by the time we checked in and we left as soon as we could the next morning
