Staff behind the front desk _ Excellent smiles and greetings every time I passed the desk. They were all women, I didn't get names, sorry. I was disappointed that there was no area to sit outside. A simple picnic table or small round table would have been fine,but I had to sit on the curb to just enjoy some sunshine. I am NOT a smoker FYI, I just wanted to enjoy the beautiful weather.

Very nice property. It was clean, all the staff was very friendly, breakfast was fresh and tasty. Pool was beautifully taken care of. Very clear and clean.

Everything about this place was great from the staff to the absolute cleanness all around the hotel, great outside seating areas and right next to major bus stop and a huge Meijer store. Will definitely return

The room was not clean, nothing seems like it's regularly updated or clean. There was bugs all over inside the window and when I called the front desk and asked him to have someone just clean them up, he was condescending and let me know that they're bugs that are native to the area. That's fine but I don't think they're supposed to be INSIDE my hotel. Not one or two. Like 20 of them. They cleaned them up and then they came right back. Pool was nice. Breakfast was just okay. But the cleanliness and the bugs definitely impacted how I felt about it. At least if the person at the front was friendly about it, it would have helped.

Only reason to not be a 5 star was the bed…not as comfortable of a mattress as others. Overall very nice though! New pool and great breakfast! Will stay again.

The Hampton had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. I was impressed. The kids swam and there were plenty of chairs to sit and watch. Breakfast had solid options, and the 24hr coffee was nice too

We were in town for a sporting event. When we got back at night of the first day we discovered there wasn’t any room service unless you asked for it. As a Hilton Honors member I never heard of such a thing. Have told several folks not to use this facility.

Older hotel that could use a remodel. The metal mattress frame was attached to a wood base with clamps. The bed was loud if you moved and felt like it was going to fall. We also found a couple of bugs in our room, the ceiling had water stains, and the decor looked tired. The staff was extremely nice and breakfast was good. No matter what is going on in town they should not be charging over $300 per night. Price gouging at its finest.

My room was a handicapped room which was approved by me. But the shower did not work which probably meant no one had been in that room for quite a while. They fixed it the second day, but I missed my shower the first morning I was there! The breakfast was fantastic, however!

The location near main roads made getting around easy and direct. It is located by a grocery store, restaurant, and Meijers (like Walmart), with Walmart just down the road, so I could easily get supplies and food. The rooms are not quiet - i could clearly hear conversations and electric appliances - but the staff is friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is decent. The handicap accessibility was a bonus.

We stayed here one night during our travels. Patricia who greeted us at the front desk was fantastic. She was very friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. The only negative was the bed. The bed was worn and a little lumpy. Room could do with a mattress change. A bonus was the hotel was next door to an Applebee’s restaurant. I would definitely stay here again. It was also very close to the 127.

The uniqueness was that we had to be at Sparrow Hospital at 6 a.m. and the Hampton Inn was VERY CLOSE!

The rooms are not quiet - i could clearly hear conversations and electric appliances - but the staff is friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is decent. The handicap accessibility was a bonus.

We stayed here one night during our travels. Patricia who greeted us at the front desk was fantastic. She was very friendly and very helpful. Our room was spacious and very clean. The only negative was the bed. The bed was worn and a little lumpy. Room could do with a mattress change. A bonus was the hotel was next door to an Applebee’s restaurant. I would definitely stay here again. It was also very close to the 127.

Very nice property. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The air conditioner in my room went out and the maintenance staff replaced the entire unit while I was out. The daily breakfast was nice but lacked variety. Location was very convenient to local dining, shopping, etc.

We had a very enjoyable stay. Brian helped us find a great place to eat. The hotel was clean, the breakfast fast great and the hospitality of everyone we encountered was fantastic.

Check in and checkout was fast and friendly. Room was nice and bed was comfortable. The breakfast was actually pretty good. Front desk were helpful and accommodating when I asked for assistance.

Only reason to not be a 5 star was the bed…not as comfortable of a mattress as others. Overall very nice though! New pool and great breakfast! Will stay again.

The Hampton had everything we needed and was exceptionally clean. I was impressed. The kids swam and there were plenty of chairs to sit and watch. Breakfast had solid options, and the 24hr coffee was nice too

The AC/heater noise was so severe, I was startled to wake up in the middle of the night at around 2 AM (!), so we had to turn it off during our entire stay. The noise between floors was very loud as well. Breakfast's main items were not there when we got there during breakfast hours, so we had to wait for several minutes - the staff member said it was one person doing it and that is why. However, other lodging places always had breakfast ready anytime even if one staff member was handling it also, so it was not a positive experience here. Overall, not a good experience, esp. at the price they charged!

Excellent staff and a very good place to walk my dog. Applebees, Meijer and Kroger are within walking distance. My complaints are noise from guest above walking about their room (not the guest’s fault) and air conditioner was too loud. Otherwise a very nice place.

Room seems clean. Daughter said she felt dirt or crumbs under sheet that she did not create. Daughters bed squeaked terrible and she’s only 100 lb. One of the eight total pillows were quality. The pool was closed due to puke. Front desk said “it may open soon, it’s pretty clean” but never opened. Plenty of nice greetings and pleasantries which is fine. Loud sealing, guests above us were heard walking back and forth and our TV was turned way up. Shared wall thin alarm clock fo another guest went on forever and woke us earlier than desired. Breakfast was good. Front desk attendant was apologetic about the pool but that only goes so far when it was the reason we paid for a stay-cation. We were offered to drive to another hotel to use that pool but we found that far less than ideal. Total rating 2/10 from me. I regret staying. It was a disappointment to pay 100 bucks for a room w a pool and have no pool and a crummy bed w awful pillows and a squeaky bed. I’ve stayed in other Hamptons in the last year and this location was far and away the worst. I would not recommend for anyone to use this hotel. We made the most of it but there was little to no value in price or accommodation. We also had terrible rest. We liked the work out space I suppose. I’m trying to mention what was good about it but that’s about it.
