The bed space was well organized, but the table was too small for our group to all sit together. Front door lock didn't work at first took over 30 minutes to get inside. The driveway is horrendous, and the garage is not fit for a car. There was a hole in the wall in the upstairs bathroom as well. Overall we had a nice stay and mad things work. The pictures online seemed a little misleading as far as the size goes. One last thing, we rented this as a man's weekend for football and there was no localized TV channels. Had to purchase an online streaming channel to watch most of the games, and missed some others.

The Mercer Creek Retreat was a great place for or family of three adult couples. It is convenient to everything from Florence to Yachats including Cape Perpetua, Heceta Head, and Seas Lion Caves. Our week was rainy so we had lots of family time at the house playing family games and enjoying the hot tub.

Had a wonderful time for a girls-trip getaway. House has everything you could need. The hot tub was absolutely enjoyed, perfect for a good soak after we walked the beach under the full moon. As some have commented before, the driveway is a bit steep, but definitely doable in most cars, just take it at an angle & you should be fine. There is flat area at the base of the stairs, off the deck that could fit 2-3 cars, so plenty of space for yourself and/or guests. We will definitely be keeping this property in mind the next time we're looking to stay in the Florence area.

We enjoyed the hot tub, the quiet of the location, and the amenities provided in the home. The beds are a bit harder than I am used to but comfortable, the driveway is extremely steep but we were able to park on the flat gravel part, and we thought there was private outdoor space but the deck is in the front so we spent our time indoors. I would recommend this property for others, especially because of how amazing the hot tub set up is, very relaxing.

It was very quiet and we saw a variety of wildlife. What was unsafe is the outdoor step which is very deceiving. My husband fell twice. My dil who is pregnant almost fell and I almost fell coming out the door. The hot tub is very difficult to get into for us older folks. The bathroom upstairs has mold around the tub. There are a lot of steps to get into the home. If you have walking issues this is not the home for you. Beds are very hard and my husband and I boy woke up with back aches.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable rooms. The indoor hot tub was enjoyable on our rainy weekend. Checkout at 10 is a little early and makes for a rushed morning. Would recommend and would stay again.

Nice clean home. Beautifully decorated and stocked with the exception of a can opener. No big deal but would have been nice to have. The downstairs king bed is extremely hard. The dining chairs are also pretty uncomfortable. We played cards for hours and sat on pillows to make them comfortable. The dealbreaker for me when considering a return is the driveway. We left a Toyota Camry at the casino because the driveway is too steep and it scraped the front of the car on the way out.

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by beautiful trees. We saw many different birds, including hummingbirds and also saw a deer go through the backyard. Only downside is the beds were very firm and the cleaning seems a bit subpar as our towels and bath mats smelled sour.

The house was really clean. I just couldnt figure out 2 of the heaters downstairs and the bed killed my back , but i was the only one that seemed to have a problem with the hard beds. Other than that it was great!

The beds are hard -like sleeping on the floor hard, some stains on the carpet, upstairs bath tub didn’t drain well. The worst part was how ill equipped the kitchen was. There isn’t even a wire wisk. Every pan in the kitchen needs to be thrown out and replaced. The griddle is so badly warped that we couldn’t even cook anything on it because it wouldn’t heat evenly. Thank goodness fredmeyer is close by so we could go buy a griddle and other essentials to cook with. The driveway. It was noted that it was steep but that doesn’t even describe it. It was bad. The size and space of the house fit us well and we had a great weekend exploring but I would most definitely not stay here again or recommend it to anyone. I really don’t like to complain, but I feel future renters need to know.

Had a great stay. The house was beautiful and cozy with plenty of room for our party of 3-6. We had perfect weather which made for some gorgeous mornings views. Highly recommend, especially if your looking for something near everything Florence has to offer but just a little out of town.

We enjoyed this cozy home. It had all the amenities we needed and plenty of space. We used the two bedrooms with king-sized beds…and our daughter thought it was so fun to have the whole upstairs to herself! Great stay. A bit north of town, but only about 10 minutes…and just 5 min from a grocery store.

Beautiful home, clean and really nice inside. Great hot tub. As mentioned in the description, the driveway is VERY steep but the parking area is flat. It’s obvious that this house is well cared for by it’s owners. The only negative experience that we had was that we were emailed the wrong access code to enter the house. We had to call to get the correct code, and following the poorly given instructions over the phone, it still took almost 45 minutes to access the house. This was a lack of communication problem from Vrbo, not meant to be a negative statement about this beautiful house.

We enjoyed the hot tub, the quiet of the location, and the amenities provided in the home. The beds are a bit harder than I am used to but comfortable, the driveway is extremely steep but we were able to park on the flat gravel part, and we thought there was private outdoor space but the deck is in the front so we spent our time indoors. I would recommend this property for others, especially because of how amazing the hot tub set up is, very relaxing.

Had a great stay. The house was beautiful and cozy with plenty of room for our party of 3-6. We had perfect weather which made for some gorgeous mornings views. Highly recommend, especially if your looking for something near everything Florence has to offer but just a little out of town.

We enjoyed our stay. Quiet neighborhood, well stocked kitchen, and comfortable rooms. The indoor hot tub was enjoyable on our rainy weekend. Checkout at 10 is a little early and makes for a rushed morning. Would recommend and would stay again.

The property and house are great. Everything was clean and in great working order. Very quiet and peaceful and still close to all the local attractions.

We enjoyed this cozy home. It had all the amenities we needed and plenty of space. We used the two bedrooms with king-sized beds…and our daughter thought it was so fun to have the whole upstairs to herself! Great stay. A bit north of town, but only about 10 minutes…and just 5 min from a grocery store.

It was very quiet and we saw a variety of wildlife. What was unsafe is the outdoor step which is very deceiving. My husband fell twice. My dil who is pregnant almost fell and I almost fell coming out the door. The hot tub is very difficult to get into for us older folks. The bathroom upstairs has mold around the tub. There are a lot of steps to get into the home. If you have walking issues this is not the home for you. Beds are very hard and my husband and I boy woke up with back aches.
