Old building they are working on remodeling and updating. Heard them working at 9 pm Saturday night. The whirlpool was not working, if it’s shown on the website it should work. Hall carpet was dirty with plaster chunks.

This property has made many improvements. My room was completely remodeled and very clean. The hallways have old carpet and not so clean and parking lot needs some cleaning. The breakfast is nice, and squeaky clean. The exercise room is in an out of the way place in the basement that isn't a good location at all. It's hard to reach someone by phone sometimes. Location is great, restaurant next door and others close by. Staff is very nice, especially Preti.

Lady at the counter was extremely nice. Room was “unique”, the shower had drain pieces missing. The hot tub was not in a useable condition and pool was iffy looking so did not try it.

Hot tub was out of order. Some of our towels were stained. Bed had a metal frame which was loud with every movement. Breakfast is t refilled so if you’re not there right away, there’s slim pickings. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way but suite room was huge and jacuzzi tub worked well!

We didnt like anything about the Baymont. Hotel had a funky smell to it and the pool area was very dark like a dungeon. Spa was empty and unoperable.

This hotel is currently switching to a new name and is undergoing renovation. When we showed up, they were gutting rooms, the pool/hot tub were drained. It took 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to talk to us. We were told they they would honor our reservation. The place had a spooky abandoned atmosphere to it (we were the only car in the parking lot). We opted to not stay. if they were undergoing renovations, they should not have been taking reservations.

The people were nice. Room was clean. It was just a feeling i had the whole time. Hallway floors were "rolling" not just the carpet but floor very old and wavy. Pool was old. Hot tub was sitting there empty. Fitness room was downstairs-felt very dungeony. Side door that should have been locked entry was broken anyone could come in. When i looked out my window there was old furnishings sitting around and you could tell they had been there a while. Next time i will just spend the extra money.

Got the keys to our room went to look at it and it wasn't as advertised! Smelled like smoke and was dirty and outdated. 2 minutes into the room we left. My husband got a headache immediately! Went to the front desk and he said he couldn't cancel our reservations! We had to go to another hotel down the road.

I loved the location. Although the building is older, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it is close to Super One Foods and Walmart and was ideal for my stay during the week.

We had a wonderful stay at the Baymont Hotel in Iron Mountain. I would say the best part was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Both Preti and Ruby went out of their way to help us by making sure we had everything we need at breakfast. They also kept checking on us. The rooms were newly renovated and clean. We slept well because it was real quiet. We would definitely stay there again!

Clean, but smells of cigarettes even though it is a smoke free facility. Did not have shampoo in room. The beds are noisy; frames are made of metal. Sounds like thunder getting into and out of the bed. Low class.

My night was extremely disappointing as my TV in our bedroom suite did not work and I had walked back and forth 5 times so try to fix it and the poor girl couldn't help. I am still waiting for some kids of refund because it's honestly sad you guys are okay with your guest being so disappointed. It smelled funny and wasn't super clean. It's not like it's THAT cheap 117 is a good amount and its sad that we have a broken TV. Plus the TV in the living room went in and out and the couch was terriblely uncomfortable.

Room was very clean but did not have carpeted floors…some kind of planked flooring and when you sat on bed a funny metal sound happened. Sheets were very nice and comfortable. Wish floor would have had carpet.

The bed was comfy but noisy. Every time I moved it made a sheet metal-like buckling noise, like when I hit my foot on my metal desk at work. It sure was a comfortable mattress though! The staff was really nice, we got some great recommendations for dinner. The area was pretty quiet midweek in the summer. Not a lot of road noise in our room.

Awesome front desk staff. Always polite, helpful, knowledgeable, and cheerful. Always greeted with a smile and good morning, good afternoon, and/or good evening depending on time of day. Was there to check in at 1055 and nobody was there ! Waited around and called the number about 10 times and finally left at 1115 ish and had to find another room ! Totally unprofessional! They finally called. Me 2 hours later and said we are here !! Charges to my credit card will be disputed tomorrow! Never booking that place ever again

We got what we expected: a cheap room to sleep for a night. Hotel is a bit dingy and smelled off. Weird random fee for safe in your room? It was small so whatever, but laughable BS fee to add on. Check in took long because printer had to be fixed first for us to sign paper document. Not sure why a hotel operating in 2025 needs me to sign a physical piece of paper to check in.

Overall, the property was a great value for the cost. The room, front desk, and breakfast area were updated/remodled. You can tell they are still working on other areas in the building. Upon check in, the manager carried our lugage to our room upstairs, as there was no elevator. Great customer service! Staff was polite and professional.

Upon checking in, the suite I booked and payed for was not available and was put into a cheaper room. The amount I overpaid was to be refunded but never happened! My credit card was also charged incidentals which upon asking said would be refunded upon check out- this did not happen either and I called to follow up. They say they will but don’t follow through- watch out, very scary to have this place know your credit card numbers!!

This hotel is currently switching to a new name and is undergoing renovation. When we showed up, they were gutting rooms, the pool/hot tub were drained. It took 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to talk to us. We were told they they would honor our reservation. The place had a spooky abandoned atmosphere to it (we were the only car in the parking lot). We opted to not stay. if they were undergoing renovations, they should not have been taking reservations.

We had a wonderful stay at the Baymont Hotel in Iron Mountain. I would say the best part was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Both Preti and Ruby went out of their way to help us by making sure we had everything we need at breakfast. They also kept checking on us. The rooms were newly renovated and clean. We slept well because it was real quiet. We would definitely stay there again!

We enjoyed a week there in the winter season. The service staff were very responsive to our needs. The room was clean, comfortable and accommodating. There was a very nice restaurant right next door. We had to check out a day early because the ice storm knocked the power out and with predictions of ten inches of snow and ice coming in we couldn’t tolerate not having heat. The staff couldn’t help us relocate with no power or internet so we had to just drive until we found a place with power and a room available. All in all we will be staying there again since we are looking to move to the area.

I loved the location. Although the building is older, it was clean, the beds were comfortable, and it is close to Super One Foods and Walmart and was ideal for my stay during the week.

The bed was comfy but noisy. Every time I moved it made a sheet metal-like buckling noise, like when I hit my foot on my metal desk at work. It sure was a comfortable mattress though! The staff was really nice, we got some great recommendations for dinner. The area was pretty quiet midweek in the summer. Not a lot of road noise in our room.

Hot tub was out of order. Some of our towels were stained. Bed had a metal frame which was loud with every movement. Breakfast is t refilled so if you’re not there right away, there’s slim pickings. Bathroom door didn’t close all the way but suite room was huge and jacuzzi tub worked well!

The breakfast was limited - waffle maker didn't work properly, "hot breakfast" was biscuits and gravy, coffee dispenser was often empty. In general, the hotel is a bit run down but the price is reasonable for what it offers.

The woman who checked me in, sent me to a room at the back with a "warning g" that there might be construction material outside. What I found was a construction crew - taking a break - a big dumpster and torn up materiel all over the place I went ahead and went into the room which was small and cramped. When I went into the bathroom I found a tub that had peeling porcelain - or paint - several places and a toilet that looked to be from the 1950's and didn't work particularly well. I could not and would not stay. So I went an found another hotel. When I returned my key, the desk staff was now a man who said he would make an accommodation for me and seemed surprised I had been sent to the room I referenced. I did not take him up on his offer. I was NOT going to stay in that place. It was a nightmare!!

My room was giant but it was very well run down. The bathroom floor had a sink hole thought I was going to fall through the floor. The jacuzzi tub sprayed everwhere. And the jet covers were full of peoples hair almost as if it was not cleaned. The breakfast was not maintained at all im guess due to short staff. And the hottub was not available in pool area.
