I stayed here twice within the past month: once with my son, and a few weeks later with my family. Nice clean place; great staff; excellent if you're on a budget and need a place to sleep. More than enough parking, and it's in a well lit area. Considering the prices of neighboring hotels and motels in the area, I'd recommend it. We'll likely come back next time we're in the area.

Nice lady for check-in and out. Room comfortable with basic necessities provided. TV was great! Great hot water supply! Bed firm and comfortable. In need of some updating and maintenance, but price was reasonable and the room was clean, as were the lobby, entrance, and parking lot.

This is an older hotel. Price very good. It could use some renovation but everything worked. Ac was cold. No bad smells in my room. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Medium sized fridge/freezer . Microwave. I dont think there was breakfast. Stayed nextdoor at the bigger hotel and payed triple the price with a company discount, with an ac that didnt work. This is a good place to rest. Its not fancy. The price is fair. People are nice. I wont stay anywhere else in iron mountain

This is a basic older motel near downtown Iron Mountain. We just needed a place to sleep for the night and wanted to be able to walk to some local establishments. The rooms are basic, but clean and the rate was the most reasonable in town.

This trip was a 180 degree turn around from last. Carpets were stained. Towels stained, a/c loud, smelled bad, mattress rock hard, refrigerator not plugged in on arrival so it was warm. The only redeeming factor is that no one was staying there so it was relatively quiet. Checked out a day early.

There was a ring of black mold around the top of the bathroom walls, likely due to being used as extended-stay lodging. The motel is old and in great need of renovation.

The hotel was a bit dated but very clean and nice. I can recommend it for any budget-minded traveler. The front desk staff was extremely friendly.

The shelves in bathtub/shower we’re not clean looked like they had mold or mildew or something green or black in the cracks… The towels were sort of thin and skimpy. I have used two of them to dry off. Of course we realize this is an extreme budget motel so going by that it was acceptable for us. We stay in a lot of motels as I work on the road.

The place is fine for one night. Facility is very dated, sink and bathtub heavily stained, some rust. Unprofessional patch job on the tiles in the shower. Even so, the place was reasonably clean, and the price was right.

No heat - walked into a 65 degree room, with outside temperatures forecast to fall into the 40's during the night. We couldn't get the heat to turn on and had to get the manager. He pushed many buttons, lectured us, and bled water from the radiator system - telling us it would be warm in 15 minutes. After 30 minutes, no change. We contacted the manager again and he then confessed that the heating system was not turned on because it was summer (Sept. 7). By then it was late and we slept in a very cool room.

The only unfortunate portion of my stay was that other patrons were gathered outside my unit talking and playing music beyond 12:30am. Otherwise the room would have been quiet

The property owner was very friendly and even loaned me a USB charger because I forgot mine. A lot of motels have USB chargers built into the lamps or wall outlets, but this motel is very basic. It met my needs and was clean and comfortable. They also have coffee in the office in the morning. Some of the dinning options in the area are only open 4-5 days a week, so limited dinning within walking distance is a small problem. I'd stay again!

Nice clean, quiet, relaxing motel. All staffencoyntered were warm and very accomodating and seemed as if they truly wanted us to enjoy our stay. Would DEFINATELY stay here in the future. Highly recommend!

Exactly what I was looking for! The price was right, and the accommodations were more than I was expecting! I will stay here again if I have an early morning airline flight, as it is better than driving from home in the dark for 2 hours and chancing a flat tire and missing my flight! The owner was very friendly and I felt safe as a single traveler staying there.

This is an older hotel. Price very good. It could use some renovation but everything worked. Ac was cold. No bad smells in my room. The staff was very polite and accommodating. Medium sized fridge/freezer . Microwave. I dont think there was breakfast. Stayed nextdoor at the bigger hotel and payed triple the price with a company discount, with an ac that didnt work. This is a good place to rest. Its not fancy. The price is fair. People are nice. I wont stay anywhere else in iron mountain

The rooms desperately need upgrading, repair, remodeling-- you name it. I wonder if there was a mattress on the beds, or just the box spring. Towels were thin, soap dish in the shower was literally caked with old soap. Stains and chips on woodwork. Nothing appeared newer than 1970. The owner/hosts were pleasant and the noise level decent, but I would never stay here again just to save a few dollars. Ick!

It’s what you want when you’re on a budget. Easy to book and good neighbors. A decent bed. And a hot shower. Everything worked so I can’t complain. All hotels nearby were over 200$ on a Tuesday. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
