The property is in the midst of a much needed renovation so some features look better than others. But the bed was comfortable and everyone who works there is SO kind it made up for the deficient features.

It was was a layover for work. Lication was convenient on my route. Had plenty of parking for the truck. The staff was pleasant & helpful. Not a 5 star hotel, but clean & basic for what i needed.

Wow, this place is in need of a UPGRADE, and the misleading rating we saw on Hotels.com that lead us to this gem, well thx for nothing Hotels.com. 2 night stay, only stayed 1 & done.

Friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable, new carpet. They are in the middle of renovation so not everything was finished.

Things I liked: Pleasant folks at desk, comfortable bed. nice outdoor area. Things to work on: I was surprised that on the first full day of our stay, no one came to tidy the room. When we left on Sunday morning, I saw one of those signs on the table saying they conserve on towels, and if you want extra service, go to the desk. Well, we only started with a thin bath towel, hand towel, and washcloth for each of us. If you wanted a towel to wash your hair, I guess the hand towel was supposed to suffice? Even if I had seen the sign, I would have been a bit put out. There is a staircase with high steps that were a bit difficult (not impossible) for me to negotiate. Once I got to my room, I pretty much wanted to hunker down I'm also unclear if that sign meant you had to ask for cleaning. I understand I was at a budget hotel. I started out camping in TC, then joined my husband when he drove up because he didn't want to camp. Given the casual nature of the weekend overall, I thought it would be fine. Even at budget prices, it still costs three figures a night to stay there. It is not an insignificant sum of money for many people. A LITTLE pampering would have been nice (room-cleaning!) There is breakfast with a waffle maker and an omelet maker available. It was nice to have that. The building is going through a remodel; it has that under-construction feeling. I could live with that. I might like to return in a year just to see if things have improved.

The coffee maker ran out after a third of a cup and no one was around to speak to or service it. The breakfast assortment consisted of 5 apples, a FEW breakfast bars that I wouldn't eat after opening one. There was dry cereal and that was it. Oh, there was a juice dispenser that works.

Stay was good but the carpet was dirty. My feet were dirty after walking on carpet. Had to wash my feet and put shoes on. Carpet s really need to be cleaned. Staff was very friendly and kind.

Sitting on the toliet my knees were inches from the wall in front of me. I tried turning on the TV, but all i got was no signal. The road noise is pretty insane there, so if you're a light sleeper, plan accordingly. Everyone we encountered was friendly and more than willing to help, which is a plus! I definitely wouldn't be opposed to staying again. It's a good deal for the price.

Our weekend stay was satisfactory for what it was! It's definitely a budget stay but there was nothing glaringly wrong. The musty smell on the second floor and in our room would be the only thing worth commenting. Good for what you pay!
