Great Location! Old , outdated , poor landscaping , no breakfast available in house. Wonderful if you love a downtown vibe , and easy walking to great sites. Price is good for what you get , but the place needs a facelift. Beds are okay , but not the most comfortable. Bathrooms are small , dated , but manageable. Pool area is nice , but the Hot Tub and Sauna needs some work. Really good food around the area and really nice shops to go through. After 55 years we finally made it to Marquette for the first time. The Hiking and Golf in the area is amazing and you need to see the area Falls. For only 25,000 people this City has everything , and is a beautiful drive from the Lower Peninsula.

The staff here was great, very friendly, and helpful. It seems like they are in the process of updating some of the rooms, but the elevator is in definite need of repairs, as there is a huge crack in the floor. The central location of this hotel is great, as it is within walking distance of many shops and restaurants downtown. The pool, hot tub, and sauna are nice, but there were shallow pools of water that were filled with dirt in the pool area. At first we thought they were mold but realized later it was dirt when the water dried up.

Overall the hotel was okay. The room was very clean and my bed was very comfy. The front desk ladies were nice. The hotel was supposed to have a breakfast, but did not. Reasons were given, but no breakfast. The hotel needs updating. The elevator definitely needs work as the floor is partly dismantled. When we first got there many homeless folks were gathered directly across the street and one was by the side of the parking area. There was no threat, but this is not the greatest part of town.
