Beautiful historic hotel, clean and friendly. Great restaurant and bar onsite. Our only issues were that our sink didn’t drain and the one treadmill in the fitness room didn’t work. Aside from that we loved it and would certainly stay again!

We were given a room under the workout area. Was awakened by the thud thud of the treadmill at 6 a.m. This after being unable to move to another room because we had been located next to a family with 3 bouncy energetic children. Oh! and the best part is that at 9:30 a.m. we were unable to use the complimentary $20 food and beverage upgrade because there was no thing open in the hotel.

The beds were very comfortable. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, but we did have cocktails at the lounge on the 6th floor. The drinks were great, and the bartenders were wonderful.

Location was great, right downtown near breweries, restaurants, shopping and the lakefront. Full service hotel with restaurant and a couple of bars. Parking is free too!! Would recommend.

I was really very excited about our stay at this hotel but was let down a bit when we arrived. There are definitely some updates that are needed and I really didn't think it was anything special. The lobby is very nice, but the rooms are just average. There was space on each floor for ice makers, but the odd floors had none and the even floor ice makers were all out of order so you had to go to the front desk to request ice which was a pain. The hotel is located conveniently to a lot of dining and shopping options that you can easily walk to so I would stay again for that reason, but with managed expectations. The restaurant wasn't open for breakfast on the nights we stayed and is only available Thursday-Sunday so keep that in mind. I don't think the stay was worth the price paid, but I would stay again if I could get a better rate because it was in a convenient location.

This was a charming hotel with great lake views even though it was foggy during our visit. The onsite Northland Pub serves excellent old fashioneds and smash burgers. Location is within easy walking distances to local breweries and downtown.

Our room was good overall, comfy bedding and great view. had high expectations after their remodel, but the bathroom vent was excessively dusty and the bathroom counter wasn’t as clean as expected for such a nice place. The landmark overall is such a beautiful building and love having all the dining options within. Staff was wonderful. They went above and beyond to help us jump our car after the subzero temps, and were so kind and friendly. We would definitely stay again.

The hotel is centrally located in Marquette. Walkable to restaurants, bars and shops. The hotel while nicely maintained, could use some deep cleaning of the shower (moldy caulking). The room is nicely decorated but is missing storage for clothes when staying longer with 2 people. The hotel is not full service, so you need to ask for fresh towels, soap, toilet paper etc. The hotel staff (1-2 behind the front desk) helps you only with the most basic tasks as checking in / out … not very customer service centric.

Ok we love staying there. But this time, cobb webs on the ceiling. In the shower were used shampoo and soaps, nothing cleaned well. The sheets didn't fit the bed, kept pulling off. Wallpaper falling down. Shower, around door black funk. Not very clean.. and toilet would not flush without opening the lid. We still like the place but what? Why not cleaned very well or even the sheets to fit the bed?

Corny room. It looked half-furnished with mismatched lamps. Edges to window cornings unpainted. Layers of dust. I spoke with several staff members who said that the management company (Minnesota-based?) doesn’t care about the property or its employees. It shows. Mattresses sucked too.

Room had a dirty towel under the vanity. Shower floor looked unclean, both it and the caulk discolored. Lots of dings, chips in the furniture. Paint in the room definitely needs a refresh. Three bucks for water. No breakfast, neither of the free or paid kind. Have stayed here quite a bit over the years, probably off the list now.

I like old historical buildings, but that fades when upkeep isn’t essential. There is obvious lack of care for cleanliness (hair in shower, and around toilet, used linens left behind). The privacy door was full of handprints, and the carpets have not been vacuumed. The pub downstairs was untidy and the server area visibly messy. For the price I would expect clean at the very least and the lake view left much to be desired as it was partial at best.

Super cute hotel and in a great location! Only negative was that the shower was a bit dirty- build up along the door tracks/ floor and also had quite a few hairs. Great place to stay otherwise- room was clean and good looking. Super good location to downtown great for walking to shops or to the lake! I would stay here again.

Nice hotel with a modern vibe and nice dining and drink options. We stayed on the 4th floor and could hear everything in the hallway and the room next door (everytime their bathroom was used). It just seemed like the walls were a little thin.

Overall, the hotel is lovely in terms of design and cleanliness. I did not interact a lot with staff, but they were fine. I had two primary concerns with my stay here. One is that the parking lot and entry way were in no way cleared of ice. Regular ice, black ice, all the ice. It was extremely treacherous, and the parking lot is hilly, so it really was a recipe for disaster. I know it's the UP of Michigan in the winter, but other businesses I visited had their sidewalks and parking lots cleared MUCH better. If I was with anyone at risk of breaking a bone, I probably would have changed my reservation due to how bad it was. The second issue was with the 6th floor of the hotel, where I stayed. I thought it would be nice and quiet because it was the top floor, so no one walking around above me. Nope! There's a bar on the 6th floor. There is a door between the bar and the rooms, which helps block some of the ambient noise. What it does NOT block, however, is all of the yelling drunk-o's coming back to their rooms and continuing the party until 1AM . That was really awful. Overall, I would stay there again, but not in the winter, and not on the 6th floor.

The Landmark Inn is our favorite place to stay in Marquette. The historic hotel is beautiful, and the spacious rooms are each unique and comfortable. We love the location right downtown on Lake Superior.

It's a beautiful historic hotel in a very walkable area at the heart of the city and steps away from the waterfront. Great views of Lake Superior and the city. Rooms, lobby, and Crow Nest bar have very pleasant early 19th century feel

The building is beautiful. The location is great. Our room had a wonderful view of the lake. We were in a corner room and the amenities were OK. However, the bed was like sleeping on a board so if you like a very firm mattress, this is the place for you! The room could use a little maintenance holes in the wallpaper. There was very high winds and the windows rattled otherwise it was clean. Staff was pleasant. They stopped serving food at nine. We got into the bar at 9:01 and unfortunately, we are unable to eat anything because of that.

It is cool Art-Deco property, intriguing and certainly nice. I wished that hotel had breakfasts option. Also, rooms are not dark enough to sleep. The windows are huge, the curtains do not cover it entirely.

The room was clean, but they said that housekeeping wouldnt come in on the 2nd day. If you were out of anything, you were told to go down to the front desk and get it.

The room was clean, but they said that housekeeping wouldnt come in on the 2nd day. If you were out of anything, you were told to go down to the front desk and get it.

The room was beautiful. the hotel was beautiful, the food was superb. But I won't stay there again. For such a beautiful, historic hotel, when we checked in, we thought there was some type of costume theme going on. Honestly, first impressions are lasting. I would think the hotel would want to present a professional image. That was not the case. We were embarrassed as we had guests from out of the country, their first time there, we had told them what a beautiful, historic hotel, then the person checking us in was not professional in appearance in any way. It was horrible. We will not stay again, so sad. If that is the best image they can present to represent their beautiful hotel, we will stay elsewhere.

We loved staying at the Landmark Inn. It was a spur of the moment Christmas weekend trip for my wife and I. The 3 people we interacted with at the front desk where extremely helpful and courteous. Check in was fast and extending our stay another day was effortless w them. Steve at the Lobby bar is an awesome Bartender. Very hospitable and makes a great Old Fashion. The food is also relly good. The Lady working the breakfast and Lunch restaurant makes amazing fresh muffins, and Her Breakfast sandwich is out of this world. Crows Nest, their 6 floor bar is really nice for a nightcap. Great service cool.atmosphere and hreat selection of bourbon. The lovation of this hotel is walling distance to mamy great bars, restaurants and bakeries. We will definitely stay here when we visit again.

Check-in was slow and unwelcoming. Room didn’t feel as though it had been cleaned properly with hairs in the shower. Had to practically beg for the use of an umbrella despite there being heavy rainfall outside. The barman on the top floor bar was laughably hostile and seemingly hated his job. Place feels like it needs a good clean up and change of management. Not acceptable at the prices they charge.

This is a 2 star property masquerading as something special. Nothing about it was worth the price. Even though we paid in full through expedia they double charged us at the hotel. Absolute incompetence by staff.

I literally had to leave because I asked for fresh towels after 3 nights and was told "well you can come see the manager in the morning and she can explain our policy"... I literally went upstairs and checked-out immediately. Unrelated, the room was humid as hell, the wedding the first night was shaking the walls, and the A/C unit was disturbingly loud.

So this past weekend, my husband and I as well as family rented rooms, rented the crows nest, and got hitched up in the nest. The staff was incredible. I cannot even express how kind they were considering us two are fly by the seat of your pants kind of people. Rachel deserves some kudos as well as Mark at the front desk for being patient and accomdating.

This was our first time at the Landmark and it was great! We loved the downtown location and being able to walk from there. The hotel was clean, easy check in and out. Wish breakfast was included, but not a deal breaker. Will stay here again for sure!

Very convenient and accessible location in downtown Marquette. Front desk staff were extremely customer oriented and helpful. Parking lot is large but can get filled up. Room was clean and quiet. Very good to have decent sized refrigerator, a microwave, and Keurig coffee maker.

Overall, the hotel is lovely in terms of design and cleanliness. I did not interact a lot with staff, but they were fine. I had two primary concerns with my stay here. One is that the parking lot and entry way were in no way cleared of ice. Regular ice, black ice, all the ice. It was extremely treacherous, and the parking lot is hilly, so it really was a recipe for disaster. I know it's the UP of Michigan in the winter, but other businesses I visited had their sidewalks and parking lots cleared MUCH better. If I was with anyone at risk of breaking a bone, I probably would have changed my reservation due to how bad it was. The second issue was with the 6th floor of the hotel, where I stayed. I thought it would be nice and quiet because it was the top floor, so no one walking around above me. Nope! There's a bar on the 6th floor. There is a door between the bar and the rooms, which helps block some of the ambient noise. What it does NOT block, however, is all of the yelling drunk-o's coming back to their rooms and continuing the party until 1AM . That was really awful. Overall, I would stay there again, but not in the winter, and not on the 6th floor.

Love Marquette! Love this place. We stay here every year for the UP Fall Beer Festival. Within walking distance of the festival site and great several craft breweries.

Wonderful location. Northland Pub was a friendly space to enjoy cocktails. Breakfast in the Parlor, was plentiful but not very tasty. Pillows were too hard.

Really a wonderful city and hotel. We did have an issue with sound; the hallway can be loud and the doors close very hard. Lunch/dinner food and service was excellent. Breakfast service was inconsistent and shouldn’t be relied upon. There was an excellent restaurant called the Bodega that we ended up going to for breakfast every day, which I also highly recommend.

The hotel was wonderful with its old world charm. The Crow’s Nest had amazing drinks and the pub/grill on the 1st floor had delicious food. Explored the whole neighborhood and it is charming.

The beds were very comfortable. I didn’t eat at the restaurant, but we did have cocktails at the lounge on the 6th floor. The drinks were great, and the bartenders were wonderful.

When we went to dinner at the pub, many items on the menu were blacked out. My husband and daughter-in-la w were going to order the whitefish, one of only two available items on the menu, they were told "I'm sorry we are out of whitefish." My daughter-in-law then chose a sandwich, the waitress then saws, I'm sorry we are out of the sauce for that sandwich." She then explained that they are getting a new menu starting on Monday. After our meal, she offered us gelato which we were too full to order at that time. Later that night, we felt like ice cream so proceeded to the pub and ordered the gelato. The waitress comes back and tells us that they didn't receive their order for the gelato. Nice place but menu was a disappointment.

This was a charming hotel with great lake views even though it was foggy during our visit. The onsite Northland Pub serves excellent old fashioneds and smash burgers. Location is within easy walking distances to local breweries and downtown.

This was our third time staying at the Landmark and undoubtedly our last. Location is terrific but that’s it. The walls are paper thin and the beds either have plastic sheeting or rubber on them. It’s terrible. The bed frames are falling apart and have sharp metal tabs sticking out that hurt. I took photos.

Like free parking, not sure how many choices there are in Marquette. Waited 45 minutes or more for dinner as they were busy and then got a call that kitchen would close and we were out of luck. Hotel stuff not helpful, fortunately Restaurant manager was able to accommodate and more diners and us were able to eat. Some others that got call that kitchen would close unhappily walked into town.

We have stayed here many times over the years and this was the most disappointing. First, Why should they use the cheapest (rubber) sheets on the bed? Just horrible, along with a bed that’s sagging terribly. Pretty third world and disgusting. We had a king room BTW. The so called breakfast was an empty pastry tray with only crumbs, at 9:00 am! The air handler was noisy. But the TV was working fine. Not worth $350.00 !!!! We’ve traveled back and forth between NYS and Mn now for 30 years so we make a point to stay at many locations and it’s sad to say we may have had our last stay at the Landmark
