It was an easy check in and the room itself was clean, but you can tell the furniture is very worn. The bed and pillows were super uncomfortable. This hotel also has NO elevator so if youre handicapped call ahead and make sure you can get a bottom floor. I did not, so thats on me. But the stairs are really difficult for someone with mobility issues. I didnt have the breakfast, it was 3 hours from 6-9 so we missed it. The view from the beach was incredible. I'd stay again just for that

This was a perfect place for an overnight stay. We were pleased with the accommodations. If you have trouble walking up stairs, make sure you get a ground level room. There is no elevator.

Rooms are comfortable if a bit outdated. Location is right on the water. You can just go right outside and watch the waves roll in. There's even a grill out back.

Will not stay here again. Internet didn’t work. Hairdryer didn’t work. TV didn’t work. Water wouldn’t drain from the tub shower. Had to climb a flight of stairs to get to my room - no elevator. And finally, I waited for 10 minutes at the desk to check out, rang their bell 2x, and finally just left when no one showed up. Parking lot also had some sketchy people hanging out around and in car who were not guests. Made me nervous that my car might be broken into. The morning breakfast was nothing but instant oatmeal packages and pre-packages bread. Don’t waste your money here.

There was dirt all all around the bed. The gym is not even functional, multiple machines were broken. The door to the room would not shut, it had to be pulled shut. There were wooden blocks in the window to keep them locked. The beach was not an actual beach. There was no where to actually fish unless you went out into the water, which was very dirty in front of the hotel.

There is no elevator. Kind of makes things difficult when you’re handicapped. Suspicious looking people wandering around and the whole place is in need of updating. Would not recommend.

The back grilling seating area and small beach are a highlight for a great view of the lake. Parking is easy and convenient. Bed was comfortable. The eco flow nozzle on the sink is a little frustrating since it’s very slow but understandable. For the price it was a good hotel.

Property is probably the cleanest hotel I stay at and I travel frequently. They know me and I always get the same room out of convenience for me so I can see me vehicle. Very friendly and even noticed my hair cut.

Room was not clean, garbage under and behind furniture, ptac filter was clogged, room smelled musty. Free breakfast was extremely limited, juice machine did not work. Nothing but packaged sweet rolls, muffins and jimmy dean microwave stuff, yogurt and cereal. It was "free" so I should not expect much, but most chains at least have waffels and the photo on line shows much more. Most of workout equipmemt was not functional or broken. Nice view of the lake from less than a quarter of the rooms. Staff was very frienfly and helpful, econolodge needs to support them by providing a facility they could take some pride in. Really wonder why Expedia rated this facility so highly. Will not stay here again and will likely avoid EconoLodge all together in the future if there are other options.

Beautiful spot right on the water and location was convenient to the area we wanted to stay the evening in, parking was easy to navigate even with part of the parking lot being blocked off for maintenance. Staff was friendly with average service. Room was disappointing. The floors were dirty with noticeable hairballs in the corners and random things such as thumbtack, confetti and spare change were found by my kids. The refrigerator froze my child's bottle along with other items and the hair dryer was coated with a layer of grim. The only good things about this room were the sheets, they were so soft and the variety of pillows with some being soft and some firm.

We checked into our room and quickly left. Room was filthy, floor dirty, curtains dusty and had a terrible odor. Hallway had multiple dirty spots on carpeting and had air freshener all over to hide offensive odors. When informing the front desk we were leaving and why she gave us no response other than the room was non-refundable. This hotel needs new management and a total remodel!! Stay away!

This hotel was built by people who knew they were never gonna stay there. The toilet was so close the wall we had to remove the toilet paper roll to sit down. The shower head was to the right an inch so the head had to be cranked to hit you and the tub barely drained. The jacuzzi tub was so gross that we ended up not using it because of whatever pink coloring that was coming out of the jets. The coffee maker was also full of mildew/mold. They also only had decaf coffee. When having to jump on my laptop for a quick work email found out they only offer open wifi connection and it's 500 kb/s at best.

It was ok but nothing spectacular. The rooms were clean save for some hairs in places. The bed, pillows and couch were clean but not comfortable. I asked for a few extra softer pillows but they didn’t have any. Even though I kept my keys separate, they deprogrammed 3x over my two day stay. I was also disappointed with the breakfast. I have food allergies and am lactose intolerant and there was no variety, nor were there things I could eat- no alternative milk and nothing really fresh, so if that’s a deterrent for you- take note. My stay was ok- it could have been better in small ways.

We had a lovely, large room overlooking Lake Michigan. What a beautiful view to wake up to! The room was spacious, comfortable and sparkling clean. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the beds were very comfortable. Even the rollaway we requested was comfortable! All members of staff that we encountered were friendly and welcoming, which is half the battle! I'm a former hotel inspector and as such tend to be very picky. I absolutely give this property two thumbs up, and we will definitely be back next time we come to Menominee!

Reception was terrific. I arrived day early ahead of my reservation. They found me a room and moved me into my reserved move that the following day with no issues. They assisted in anything and everything I asked of them with top-notch quality. I highly recommend this property.

Check in staff was not helpful,had to ask where my room was located,where best to park,where breakfast was and what time. I enjoy going into a fellow friend at the front desk from where I was from. It was really neat to see him just relate customer service wise. When I checked in. I felt like I was at home. I got there about 4:00 so it was a gentleman was a beard and he is a very very good worker and I appreciate his hospitality and making sure that I had a accessible room for me and my service dog. I can make short trips these days and even living in Michigan. Sometimes I have to stop and stay and I love staying at you Resort especially with it on the bay what a beautiful area you have. Thank you so much for the hospitality the generosity and kindness that you gave us

First, no way to get luggage upstairs but to carry it myself. Second no one could answer any questions about the area - all I got was “sorry, I don’t live around here.” But they weren’t will to help me find out either and they had no maps. Finally, had to ring the bell three times before someone came to check me out. Since they were so empty wished they would have given me a room with a view or offer it as an up grade would have been better than looking at the parking lot.

Rooms are comfortable if a bit outdated. Location is right on the water. You can just go right outside and watch the waves roll in. There's even a grill out back.

If you walked down the hallway to the end, you were within 20 ft, of the bay. Lovely view! Sat out on a picnic table set and watched the ducks in the morning. There were also rooms that actually faced the bay. Great room with all the expected amenities and very reasonablyv priced.

Nice property that’s right on the water. My crew and I were doing the Lake Michigan Circle Tour and this was our 3rd overnight stop. We really liked the area in the back right on the water, where you can hang out.

All areas were clean. The photo is taken from the air to portray a lovely visage. It is awfully close to the highway, meaning somewhat noisy and right now there is construction next door. The view of the lake is absolutely stunning. Really no beach to speak of. I was saddened that a block of rooms is not allocated to people who prefer "no pets." I have never had animals in my home and I would a prefer a room that had not housed them prior to me...plus the dog across the hall barked night and morning. I would recommend getting to breakfast early (and it is a lovely room to eat breakfast in). The staff was pleasant and took care of an issure I had quickly and amiably.

Older hotel, however, updates have been made in furnishings, flooring, etc. The location is fine with the lake right behind the hotel. Perkins is down the street for a quick meal. Breakfast was minimal, not the usual cooked breakfast but had cereal, oatmeal, packaged pastries and some breakfast sandwiches you could microwave yourself. I don’t think I’d stay here again. Pillows were horrid.

This is my second stay here, it’s not an updated hotel. We noticed things in the room that could be cleaned better such as the bed dust cover, we could see hair and dust near the wall and headboard on that behind the mattress. Basically, just needs a better deep clean. The coffeemaker looked dirty inside where the water would go, decided not to make coffee in the room. Nightstand drawers had crumbs and beer bottle caps. Just more attention to details or deep cleanings at least monthly in the weird areas. Expedia also incorrectly advertised the room so I’ll reach out to them on that. We didn’t get the room as they advertised with the “double king with tub” because that’s not how the hotel lists it. They call it the suite. Breakfast is super minimal and nothing exciting or healthy. Cereal, Jimmy Dean sandwiches, Yoplait yogurt and prepackaged pastries/bagels. The bay water view is great!

Went to check out the breakfast. Was not impressed. Been to many hotels that have hot breakfast. Eggs, bacon, sausage & potatoes. Waffle maker and many other breakfast items. Coffee wasn't even good. Ended up going to a Family restaurant down the road.

This was just a quick easy and great for the price stop! Right on Lake Michigan and for an older hotel it was in really great condition and well kept! Clean and friendly place. The breakfast wasn’t bad and the beds were comfortable. When we got there it was a little hot in the room but with probably 10-15 minutes of turning it down we had it cold and ready for bed!

Rooms were clean but the outside hadn't been touched in years. The beautiful lake view with the benches was covered in poison ivy and a million spiders. Also bring a pillow. Worst pillows ever!
