This was our second stay at this property and I have to say it is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. On top of that, the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good. The coffee was hot and the room was very comfortable. We will definitely stay there anytime we are in the Munising area.

The room smelled musty which lasted the entire time we were there. After coming home late on the shuttle we found that the toilet wouldn’t flush. We had to remove the back and manually flush it each time. During the night it was time consuming and not something you want to do during the middle of the night.

Well appointed hotel, professional staff. Was offered a first floor room upon arrival, no elevator. We had booked 2 queen beds, the change to a first floor room ended up with 2 full size beds, my mistake for not thinking to ask about this detail before we switched. Things worked out fine. Hot tub and pool were clean and not over chlorinated. Breakfast was adequate and met immediate needs, there are not a tremendous number of places open for breakfast in the area. This is our favorite hotel in the area. Suggestion: at other places we have stayed throughout the U.P. there was a free popcorn machine. We find it to be a real value add.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at this hotel. The room was clean and linens fresh. The beds were comfortable and provided enough warmth. Check in was quick with staff friendly and professional. The bathroom was clean but a little wear and tear, but nothing that influenced our stay. It was incredibly quiet. We heard no one above or next to us. There was plenty of parking available. The breakfast was standard for this level of hotel and started at 7AM rather than most that start at 6AM. I did not use the pool or hot tub so can't speak to those. The only complaint was the blow dryer stopped working after a few minutes. Not sure if it needed cleaning out(dust). I tried resetting the auto-off button, unplugged/plugged back in and let it cool down, but it still wouldn't start up again.
