The room and common areas were clean upon arrival. Pool, hot tub, sauna were nice. However, it was noisy at times (doors slamming, could hear people talking in hallways, etc). Overall, it was a nice place to stay

This is a well kept property. However, the was given a room with no outside window, that had a large sliding door to the indoor pool. Noisy until 11p, smell of "pool", and a bit creepy with the everyone just at the door.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Hot tub and pool were nice. Sauna wouldn't get up over ~80°F. Location is nice, lots to see within walking distance.

Nice quiet private hotel . Nice pool and spa and even a big sauna open late . Convenient to town . Market across street for supplies . Small gift but well stocked gift shop in lobby . 24 hour coffee and tea but no on site restaurant. Very nice place and would recommend if visiting pictured rocks .

Price was good. Room smelled like Lysol when we got in. Decent shape, no hot water at sink. Snowmobilers were loud coming and going. Outside and in rooms. Hot tub was out of commission. One main reason we wanted to stay.

Room smelled of strong urine. Formica peeling on bathroom vanity. Room barely bigger than bed. We left after trying to stick it out for a couple hours. When speaking to front desk, no compensation was offered. Awaiting call back from General Manager/Owner.

The room smelled like mold or piss.. I think piss and the carpet was damp the whole time.. Also the windows seals are broke and moisture In room everywhere.. I paid 500 for 2 nights and don’t get me wrong Munising, Michigan was beautiful but the hotel room I stayed in was absolutely horrible.. I told the staff that I can handle but for future they might want to fix and take care off because next visitor might not be so nice… I have stayed in hotels in horrible areas in Ohio for 75 dollars a night that was way cleaner and sanitary… I am definitely disappointed with hotel ex specially 500 dollars for 2 nights… Definitely not what I signed up for threw pictures and stuff.. Had to go to pool area or outside to get any somewhat fresh air

The door has a space at the bottom and we could hear every conversation from people in the hall. This hotel is expensive for the condition it is in. It is not quaint or charming. Big disappointment. Would not stay here or in Munising again. There are other places close by.

Stayed one night, older property, needs updating, carpets were worn to the backer in many places, room hits you with faint cigarette smoke smell, probably stuck in the carpet and drapes from the smoking days, bed had visible depressions from two people with a crest in the middle, it slept ok once you settled into your personal divot. It was clean, and the pool looked nice.

We stayed one night before backpacking and one night after camping and the rooms we got were completely different than each other. The first room was super outdated, smelled very musty, and the window had no screen or lock so was unsafe. But the last stay was an updated room with nice features, granite counters, no moldy smell. If both rooms were like the last night, i would have rated the hotel 4.5/5 stars because it was also a GREAT value.

Check-in was slow as there was apparently only one computer and they were taking a reservation at that moment, the persons credit card confirmation was a challenge and a line formed for check-in where we all witnessed the frustration of the staff with this process. Not a good first impression. The room was laid out wierd with the bed right in front of the door, the hotel is old, but it was clean.

This is an old building that hasn't really been kept up to par the beds are uncomfortable the pillows were terrible there was no breakfast

It’s a rather quaint place. Part of the established community. There is no restaurant dining so there is no breakfast served so the overnight cost is rather pricy.

It was nice and quiet. Convenient for the Pictured Rock Cruise and nearby attractions. Staff was great (Sheila Trish). Coffee was all they offered in the morning but it was really good. Not many if any bfast options in the area. Looked like it was easier to buy marijuana than a bfast sandwich or donut. I’d stay here again.

The staff was very friendly and took time to tell us where to eat and see waterfalls.Our room washuge with a gas fireplace and 2 sofas,bathroom was very small.No breakfast or elevator but knew that hoing in.Had large heated pool ,hot tub and sauna.Only complaints were hot tub jets were very weak and sauna never hot hot.Nice place for the money.

We made reservations good thing because when we got there they were close to be filled. Our room was on 2nd floor no elevator. This is our second time here, we like Munising, been to some Falls and rock hunting as always. Took a day trip to Tahquamenon Falls and there is plenty places to eat. We went Aug 20-24th Friday-Mon. some places were getting ready to close for the winter and head back to Florida

This is an older hotel that could probably use some updating, especially the carpeting. Bathroom is dated, but we found it to be very clean. The room was also very clean and the bed was comfortable. Overall, it was fine for an overnight stay on our road trip. They do not offer breakfast.
