Expedia makes it sound like free parking is included in your stay if headed to the airport and it is NOT. There is a charge per night. That was the whole reason we stayed there. Not happy at all about that.

On the far north end of Romulus airports, breakfast wasn’t too impressive and there were bed bugs. Bathroom was clean though. Shuttle only comes if you call for pickup from the airport. Room service thought I left and came knocking on the door when they thought I checked out. 3/10 overall

It’s only plus is its proximity to the airport. Our room had a terrible musty odor and we had to leave the exterior door open to air it out for three hours but it was still there. The toilet seat was broken and it was never repaired while w were there. We spent two days and there was no cleaning service at all in our room. The towels are low quality (they look forever to dry) and there were only two. Bathroom floor felt “sticky” and unclean. Breakfast ended everyday at 9am and consisted of boxes o cereals, mediocre bagels (no cream cheese) and muffins. We took this hotel based on previous reviews which certainly did not agree with our experiences. One positive: the shuttle service to and from airport was excellent.

I truly appreciated the airport shuttle at 2:00 a.m. and the driver was very friendly. The front desk staff girl was excellent and gave me a room really close to the entrance to the hotel. But as soon as I entered the room, there was a musty smell and the conditions of the roon were terrible. I had no hot water and wouldn't even think about trying to get in the dingy disgusting bathtub!

This was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The place was disgusting and clearly not safe. The property had homeless people hanging around, the parking lot was completely empty, and there didn’t appear to be any other guests—which should have been my first clue. We specifically booked a non-smoking room. The second I opened the door, it reeked of smoke. It was obvious the room had been smoked in heavily. To make it worse, there was a bag of used baby wipes on the bathroom floor, mold in the corners, and overall the room was filthy. I didn’t feel comfortable even setting my bag down. We were in the room less than five minutes before I called Hotels.com to cancel. They refused to refund me, even though we did not stay, and to make matters worse, the hotel placed a huge hold on my American Express card, which caused problems with other charges later that day. The front desk clerk was nice when we arrived, but when we turned right back around to leave, they became very upset. Hotels.com eventually gave me a $100 credit after a long and frustrating chat session, but I still plan on disputing the charge with my credit card company. This place is nothing like what is described online. It was dirty, unsafe, and absolutely unacceptable. I even uploaded photos of how bad it was. Lesson learned: if you ever book through Hotels.com, pay extra for the trip protection insurance, because clearly they do not stand behind the hotels they advertise. Bottom line: Do not stay here

For a one night stay, it was okay. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but the wifi did not work at all in the room we were in. Also the bulbs in the lamps were just sort of hanging out of their sockets, but still worked. It's not a bad stay if you are only needing one or two nights, but if you are planning an extended stay and need space, I would suggest finding somewhere else to stay. The area around the motel seems kind of sketch, and most of the dining options were closed or closing by the time we got in (9 pm). If you are a light sleeper, I highly suggest bringing ear plugs because the planes overhead are loud.

The staff were very helpful, efficient and courteous. We stayed at the inn in Romulus because it was close to the airport for a very early morning flight. Free shuttle to Detroit airport. Very reasonably priced. Excellent value for the convenience.

Overall, the hotel allows their employees to become personal and personally involved the manager needs to grab a dictionary and learn how to say some words maybe if she learned how to spell them they would come out correctly There’s a power trip at a glance she will already know how she’s going to talk to you and I think that’s so disrespectful They wouldn’t accommodate me due to my situation. They should have accommodated me she chose not to because she had some kind of power trip with me gave me a nonrefundable. Complete nonrefundable didn’t even get to get a cancellation fee. She took all the money out and from what I was told, she usually 99% of the time gives people a break. She did charge someone to cancellation fee, but she’s never done a nonrefundable fee and I was the example

Breakfast was a joke. Offered chocolate muffins, bagels (no cream cheese) and juice/coffee. There was cereal but the milk sat from 5am-9am and seemed sketchy.

Quiet area other than the noise from the planes being so close the the airport. Not much around but close to the freeways so not bad. A little outdated but beds were comfortable. Breakfast was a little disappointing just bagels and muffins.

You get what you pay for. Reviews are one thing, but star rating is another. Best price in the area during commencement weekend, but the 2-star rating shows. Too bad Expedia doesn't make the star rating conspicuous. Check the rating in Google before booking this place. Breakfast was next to nothing - no cream cheese for bagels, coffee was terrible.

It's a simple hotel and the room was OK for one night. There a few restaurants next door which is good. The shuttle was very helpful so make sure to call ahead and let them know when you're ready to go.

This was hands down the most disgusting hotel that we have ever stayed at. The rook REEKED like cigarette smoke, the carpets were stained in several areas, there were dead bugs everywhere, the table and the bathroom were visibly dirty, and the tub did not drain. We stayed in unit 416. We ended up checking out a day early because of how disgusting it was and got a new hotel room. When we checked out we told the front desk clerk how disappointed we were and that is why we were checking out early and all he said was that we missed early checkout by one hour so we would not be getting any money back and was pretty rude. We are extremely disappointed and will be sharing with as many people as we can to not get a hotel room here. This was an awful experience.
