Please remove advertisements that you have a hot tub. That is untrue!! Weird smell in lobby upon entry. Also, room did not have a sofa, rather a dining chair. Although George was nice, some comments were inappropriate. Loud guests above us and barking dog in hall made sleeping difficult.

While the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was plentiful, the goodness stops there. At check-in you learned that the hot-tub was permanently closed, so if you were hoping to soak your aches and pains away after a day at Michigan's Adventure you are out of luck. The toilet in the room I was in wasn't fully anchored so it wobbled if you were sitting down on it. Also the blackout shade on the window did not fully work, and since my room faced east it was bright early. Thankfully I am an early riser and had early plans, but if you were wanting to sleep in GOOD LUCK. I would have brought this up when I checked-out of the hotel, but the lady at the desk didn't ask how the stay was or seem to care about anything other than if I needed a receipt. I am going to guess that this is the general attitude of the property and why things like this get overlooked by housekeeping.

This was a family trip. Everything was great the customer service was excellent. The only thing is the pool was extremely cold. We were shivering in the pool and left about 20mins later. I mentioned it they said they would check the temperature next day was the same. Breakfast was really good too.

This was a great place to stay if you aren’t needing anything fancy. The hotel desk staff were so friendly and nice, very accommodating. The breakfast each morning was perfect. We loved the chocolate waffles! The room was good, my only complaints are the toilet was wobbly and shower pressure was super light. I wished there were USB outlets for our phone charger or more outlets in general around the bed area to plug our phone in. Pool was clean, no hot tub though. We did laundry one night, quarters only which we didn’t have but the front desk assisted us. All in all, I would definitely stay again. I loved that it was only 7 min from Michigan Adventure as we had two park days there.

The room didn’t seem particularly clean when we arrived. Nor was it cleaned at a basic level while we were there (we had a lot of trash and it wasn’t taken out that day). The elevator was broken during our stay. They did warn us of this the day of our stay but we were only offered a free cancellation.

The staff went above and beyound to help guests from the front desk to housekeeping & the kitchen staff. Elevator extremely slow. The rooms could use some brighter lights. It was very quiet which was appreciated as I'm a light sleeper. The pool was refreshing .

The young lady at the counter is the best - I stay at a lot of different hotels and she's the best I've encountered. Need to clean up the shower - you cannot have what appears to be black mold in the shower caulk.

This property could use a refresh. The bathrooms were old the showers did not look clean. There was mold underneath the caulk. The floor of the showers looked dirty so you felt that if you took a shower, you would end up being dirtier than when you went in. One of the rooms smelled very stuffy when we first came in and still smelled the next morning. Made me think of cat urine.

The room had some big obvious stains. The lamp had a big one, shower base looked old/stained to want to stand in, the comforter also had some stains. I don’t expect $130 a night with taxes should have those obvious faults.

We stayed here for a funeral and the staff was so helpful, friendly, considerate and compassionate. The rooms are also oversized vs a typical hotel. We had 2 queen beds and a king bed and the room was large width with a table and desk and dressers. Clean hotel also.

Great choice for hotel stay. Indoor pool looked very nice but we did not use it. Location is excellent, very easy in and out. Room was a suite with 3 queen beds. Beds comfortable and room spacious. Bathroom private, all in one, sink area not separated from shower area. For the 5 women travelling together, we appreciated that.

The staff went above and beyond to make my family and I feel at home. We were from out of town, and in for a family funeral. The dilemma was that we didn't book our rooms for a long enough stay. The staff and manager, made sure that we didn't feel insecure about booking for the wrong days. They then also gave us a discount, since we were already in a bad place mentally, given the funeral. Then on top of all the kindness they already treated us with, they made sure that we could keep our same rooms, so we didn't have to pack and move. I highly recommend this place, not only because of their customer service but because the location was close to everything. There were plenty of food.

Whether it is information you need about the area or the washing machine breaks down and they volunteer to finish your laundry in the laundry room, this staff goes above and beyond their titles. The breakfast is always ready and delicious. Can’t say enough about the people here. Our stay was amazing. Thank you all!

We stay here about 4-6 days a month. We love the staff and the breakfast is good. It is always clean and this hotel is the only one with an inside pool. It is so convenient right off the highway. Not too far from Michigan Adventure and 30 minutes from Silver Lake sand dunes.

The property is located right of the highway but there is no highway noise. Close to town so everything is a short drive. The hotel is clean and Jasmine at the front desk was amazing and gave us a list of things to do in the area.. Reccomend the lighthouse and Hobos for dinner! The pizza and huge salad were great!

Very close to michigan adventure. Even when busy with a ton of kids it was quiet after 10:00 pm. Would highly recommend if you want to have a short drive to the amusement park.

The staff & general manager were very friendly, professional, & kind. The property itself was very well kept & clean. The location was very convenient to Michigan adventure park, Grand Haven, dining places & local attractions. Hotel breakfast was good & the kids loved the waffles.

Pros: Staff was friendly and accommodating, rooms were spacious and clean, pool was heated and clean Cons: Beds were uncomfortable, always ran out of towels in the pool area, continental breakfast was the same thing everyday (we stayed for 3 nights) and the items were not stocked fast enough

100% happy with our recent 2-night stay! The desk clerks were exceptionally friendly, efficient, and helpful. Our room was huge and immaculate. The breakfast was excellent and well stocked -- eggs, sausage, waffles and loads of other options. The pool was clean. Hallways & elevator were spotless. Our bed was more comfortable than our bed at home. Lots of parking & well lit at night. There is a Walmart right across the street. Hotel is just off the expressway. We can't find a single negative to report. Everything was perfect!

Super friendly and helpful staff! Breakfast buffet was clean and well stocked. Food was decent for that type of buffet - very fresh. Hotel could use cosmetic updates and you do not get cleaning staff every day - but it's an economy hotel and the staff is more than willing to provide extra towels, toiletries, etc. If you ask.

Very good place to stay rooms were very good size and had 2 tvs which was good with kids. Front desk help was real polite and helpful. Would stay again.

Very friendly staff, room was air conditioned and mostly clean. Free breakfast came in handy and had a variety to select from. Shower felt amazing. The only two things were: the walls were super thin and could hear outside convos and loud trucks - hallway noise…also, the bed was not comfortable after the first night, pillows flat-ish. I would still stay there again - very convenient location.

Pool needs a repaint but otherwise was fine. Property did message us in advance about not having a hot tub and offered us the chance to cancel if we wanted. Not a deal-breaker for us but we appreciated the option. The desk staff were awesome, super friendly. Breakfast was as a typical breakfast, better than a continental breakfast but nothing special. Need to find a better layout for the waffle makers. Everyone was standing right in the middle waiting and it made access to the hot food and drinks difficult. All in all a good stay but for the price we paid you would have expected much more.
