The hotel was not prepared for a cheer competition in town. The sofa bed did not have sheets on it. None of the rooms had the heat on in the room prior to checking-in. The high was 20 degrees and the room was probably 50 degrees when we checked in. The "fitness center" had a case for towels and water, however there were none and when i asked the front desk, they said they don't stoxk that stuff. Also there was dried blood on the floor. Lastly the breakfast was supposed to be served from 7-9:30, however both days they were out of all hot food by 830 and they said they wouldn't be bringing anything else.

Avoid this place. Pool was closed but the room was filthy. Phone disgusting, wall had something spilled on them, toilet seat coming off, tub would not drain, tv remote dirty dust and dirt everywhere, wallpaper peeling off. Heat was completely shut off when we entered room temperature was 61. It looked like they were starting a renovation but no excuse for conditions. No hot breakfast food only bread for toast with nothing to put on it. Bowls for jam were emty and disgusting.

Parking was well lit. There were two individuals just sitting on the edges of the lot but they didn’t pay attention to us. I felt safe. Beds and pillows were super comfortable. Room was clean.

The breakfast was sparse at best, constantly ran out of items, and not kept clean. The fitness center is in disrepair. Elevators dirty. The rooms were below average. We reported items that needed fixing in our room and it was not attended to during our 5 day stay.

There were limited hot choices for breakfast and the pool water was extremely cold and there were no towels. Children were running down the hallways late at night knocking on doors. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean but the air conditioner filter should have been changed. I woke up with no voice from the allergens in the room

The hotel was decent for a quick one night stay. My room had a cracked window, and the alarm clock & phone did not work. The pool was rather small, and the elevator constantly reeked of weed.

If you need 4 walls and a roof they got it. Anything more and you may want to book somewhere else. The breakfast consisted of rock hard bread. The light fixtures in the room has a ton of dust or bugs in them. The pool was closed. The side door was exit only even though there was a slot for a room key to unlock it. (Guessing its broken and they havent fixed it yet.)

The check in process was horrible. The front desk staff struggled with the check in system. It was nearly 40 minutes waiting in line before we were checked in. The room type was not correct and when sleeping to the front desk staff we were told they would check into it and get back to us. The rooms were outdated. Some of the furniture honestly should just be thrown away, it was tattered and stained. The garbage can on the room looked as of it had never had been cleaned. The pool on a Friday night is only open until 8 and it's UNHEATED. For a group of 5 at the pool they allotted 2 towels. How is that even acceptable? The pool requires a combination to get in, when I went and asked the front desk responded with the code in a manner insinuating that it was common knowledge. Also, please note that they do charge a $150 incidental deposit!! At this location better gtfoh. Then you don't even get it back for 5-10 business days and when you complain about how it should be made more aware to the customers before booking, they just smirk. When I complained and stated I would never be back - the clerk was totally unphased by my comment. And it should be noted every single person in line had issues checking in. Never, ever again.

When we pulled up, the hotel looked like it was closed. The “curb appeal” was nonexistent. Our room left much to be desired. There was dried poop on the back of the toilet, hair in the corners of the bathroom, stains on the curtains, walls, carpeting and bedding. The reading lights by the bed were broken, and the closet door was not on the track stayed 2 nights only due to the convenience of the location to a funeral we were attending. If you have any other options, take them!! Run away from this hotel if you want clean rooms. We will not stay here ever again!!!

I was disappointed with my stay at this hotel. It truly falls short of expectations. While the room itself was spacious, the cleanliness was atrocious and far below acceptable standards. There were visible hairs in the bathroom, left by previous guests, suggesting it hadn’t been cleaned properly. Additionally, there were stains on the bed sheets and pillows, and the elevators were unclean. Overall, the hotel would greatly benefit from a complete overhaul of its cleaning procedures. I sincerely hope the management takes the necessary steps to improve cleanliness for future guests. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again and would not recommend this hotel to friends or family.

The whole place was extremely dirty. All the glass window had a dirt film. Elevator doors had hand prints all over the stainless and the floor was all sticky. Paint was missing in areas. The room was in poor condition. There were cobweb in the corner of the rooms ceiling, mold in the bathroom ceiling, failing drywall in the bathroom, shower curtain rod was failing down. There was also what looked to be feces smeared on the bathroom wall by the toilet. The window to the room was screwed shut but not completely closed. You could hear the highway traffic due to the window being partially opened. If we didn’t have to leave at 4am to our function probably would have left and found a new place. Very dissatisfied.

The place was filthy. More like a third world hotel in some undeveloped country. Halls hadn't been cleaned in weeks, bathroom faucet didn't work, toilet was dirty, elevator was full of dirt, smears and crap on the floor and walls. Room was not services during our visit. An open bag of winter ice salt was still sitting in the entry from last winter (or before). Air conditioner vents were caked with dust. No breakfast as promised on our final day. In the past, Choice Hotels had standards. Those standards are gone.

Hotel is very run down. A lot of damage. Locks on the door to our room were broken. Room did appear to be cleaned well. But the hotel was trashed in other area. It’s dlose to highway and food options.

Overall stay was comfortable, convenient and inexpensive. Things that werent the greatest - was told i was going to get a king rokm witha jetted tub. There was no jetted tub. I was aactually lookinf forward to using it. - bed was very sunken in the middle. - was told there was a hot breakfast in the am. There was a small assortment of contential items, but nothing warm. They did have warm chafing containers that were empty and not used both days I was there.

Room needed TLC. A lot of small things needed attention and would not turn into big repairs if attended to soon. Bathroom light turned off while I was in the shower. Shower rod pulling off the wall. Torn shower curtain. Knob off sink stopper ( I fixed). Cards for unlicking door ( all 4 of them) did not work well. Your receptionist was really personable

First room smelled of smoke. They gave us a new room that was better. Didn’t like that fact that the lights were motion detectors so when I had to get up very early for the bathroom the light woke my husband up since it was a very bright hall light. Breakfast I had to ask for more of the “hot” food. Overall was fine for a one night stay. Would probably not stay here again.

Front desk staff was not friendly, room key barely worked. Had to try it at least 5 time before it would open. Had a dirty sheet. Missing hair dryer, did have to go get one. Phone in room didn't work to call the desk. Breakfast was poor. Wont be returning to the hotel.

Housekeeping seemed to have torn all of the sheets off my bed, thrown them on the table and then left. I arrived back at the hotel at 7pm with my door wide open and came into this. Nobody was around. I went to the front desk to inform them and they said the housekeepers were no longer there today and he gave me another pair of sheets and I made the bed myself.

When we arrived at the Hotel, we were told there was no room available, even though we had a confirmation no. No offer was made to reimburse us. We were told we'd have to take it up with Expedia. Staff was not helpful or courteous...basically told us "too bad"...When we asked to speak to a Manager, we were told no one was available...Never stay at this place unless you like being mistreated and denied service!

The property is extremely run down and dirty. I was there for 4 nights and I noticed the elevator was never swept or anything. It’s quite a dirty place. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, however.

The check in process was horrible. The front desk staff struggled with the check in system. It was nearly 40 minutes waiting in line before we were checked in. The room type was not correct and when sleeping to the front desk staff we were told they would check into it and get back to us. The rooms were outdated. Some of the furniture honestly should just be thrown away, it was tattered and stained. The garbage can on the room looked as of it had never had been cleaned. The pool on a Friday night is only open until 8 and it's UNHEATED. For a group of 5 at the pool they allotted 2 towels. How is that even acceptable? The pool requires a combination to get in, when I went and asked the front desk responded with the code in a manner insinuating that it was common knowledge. Also, please note that they do charge a $150 incidental deposit!! At this location better gtfoh. Then you don't even get it back for 5-10 business days and when you complain about how it should be made more aware to the customers before booking, they just smirk. When I complained and stated I would never be back - the clerk was totally unphased by my comment. And it should be noted every single person in line had issues checking in. Never, ever again.

Very noisy and loud and unclean. Outside doors left open. Glass, bottles, and diapers all over the parking lot. Left early and wanted a refund for our second night and were denied due to cancellation policy. Would have stayed if the conditions of the hotel were different.

I checked in and checked right out. The room was filthy, bedding was stained, there were crumbs in the bed, the fridge had mold, there were bugs on the curtains and dead filled in the lights. The lobby was dirty, the front desk was dirty. And there was questionable activity in the parking lot. I did not feel safe or comfortable staying with my family there so we checked out immediately!

The hotel was not prepared for a cheer competition in town. The sofa bed did not have sheets on it. None of the rooms had the heat on in the room prior to checking-in. The high was 20 degrees and the room was probably 50 degrees when we checked in. The "fitness center" had a case for towels and water, however there were none and when i asked the front desk, they said they don't stoxk that stuff. Also there was dried blood on the floor. Lastly the breakfast was supposed to be served from 7-9:30, however both days they were out of all hot food by 830 and they said they wouldn't be bringing anything else.

We were only a couple hours into the breakfast meal hours. The milk was spoiled the first day and a family member got a moldy yogurt. They didn’t have any juice or beverages like most hotels that serve breakfast. Just coffee. We heard A lot of complaints from other hotel guests. Another family member’s ac was loud and and kept them up all night one night and the next night it was ok. There was some kind of food splatter on our hotel wall. But it’s a great location and it’s a nice looking hotel. I thought the bed was comfortable but my husband hated it. So that’s just a personal preference. But the breakfast…disappointing.

Phone disgusting, wall had something spilled on them, toilet seat coming off, tub would not drain, tv remote dirty dust and dirt everywhere, wallpaper peeling off. Heat was completely shut off when we entered room temperature was 61. It looked like they were starting a renovation but no excuse for conditions. No hot breakfast food only bread for toast with nothing to put on it. Bowls for jam were emty and disgusting.

It was ok to sleep , but kind of bare bones and old looking and did not seem like a comfort inn quality hotel. Barely anything as far as snacks or things to buy. No breakfast. There was a bowl with plastic wrap over it and four bananas and two apples out in the morning, that’s it.

There were quite few of us staying at this location for a Group event nearby. Hotel smelled stale for lack of a better term. Room key was difficult, hit or miss working correctly and the door looked like, prior to our stay, had been attempted to be broken into. Pry marks on the door frame by the lock. Bathroom looked dirty, couch smelled. Breakfast is a 0 compared to other locations we have stayed at. It was dark, no lighting, wasnt sure it was even open yet at ....7:30 am. First room smelled of smoke. They gave us a new room that was better. Didn’t like that fact that the lights were motion detectors so when I had to get up very early for the bathroom the light woke my husband up since it was a very bright hall light. Breakfast I had to ask for more of the “hot” food. Overall was fine for a one night stay. Would probably not stay here again.

Hotel clerk did not have the best communication skills and checked us in for 1 night instead of the 3 we booked. Needless to say we were locked out of our room on Saturday night when we returned around 11pm. Gave it credit for being in a convenient location near a Meijers and restaurants.

I was extremely disappointed with it encounter at this hotel. The first room we were assigned had multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues that should never have been present. The window was broken, there was a sunken section of flooring (or a hole) next to the bed, the toilet handle was broken, there were food crumbs under the couch, and the room had a strong unpleasant odor. After I reported these issues, the staff moved us to a complimentary upgraded room. While it was slightly larger and in somewhat better condition, it still had a noticeable musty or unpleasant smell. During our stay, we also noticed that several rooms on our floor were completely sealed off. Although we don’t know the reason, seeing multiple rooms closed made us even more concerned about the overall condition of the property. Ultimately, we decided to leave because we no longer felt comfortable staying there due to the condition of the rooms and our health and safety concerns. To make matters worse, the hotel has refused to provide any refund, despite the significant issues we encountered. I understand that problems can happen, but guests shouldn’t have to choose between staying in a room they don’t feel is safe or losing their money. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The rooms are very outdated. Broken ceramic between the bathroom and the carpet floors my boyfriend cut his toe. Try to get some coffee at 9 AM. The guy at the front desk told me it is over and refused to get me any help for more coffee. Was not very friendly at all. The pool was absolutely filthy and shut down. Smelled like mildew throughout the entire hotel, poor location property taking over by weeds absolutely terrible stay
