Needed a separate key for the fitness center. The AM front desk clerk did not know where the key was. Room was fine. Carpet and couch had stains. Bedding and sheets were clean, did not have stains. Looked like the building was getting upgrades; such as new door locks and parking lot being resealed. I stayed 2 nights and trash was not picked up from the hallway. There was a bag of trash in the hallway the entire time. Breakfast was bread, yogurt, cereal, bananas and apples. One morning they had pork sausage out. The curtain in my room were broken, did not close the entire way. Bathroom was decently clean, I did wipe down the shower head before taking a shower.

This hotel needs a major renovation. Towel bars in room were falling out of the walls; shower faucet sprayed out of the side; curtain sheers were stained and torn; hallway reeked of pot and hotel lobby was hot and stuffy. Hotel clerk did not have the best communication skills and checked us in for 1 night instead of the 3 we booked. Needless to say we were locked out of our room on Saturday night when we returned around 11pm. Gave it credit for being in a convenient location near a Meijers and restaurants.

I was extremely disappointed with it encounter at this hotel. The first room we were assigned had multiple maintenance and cleanliness issues that should never have been present. The window was broken, there was a sunken section of flooring (or a hole) next to the bed, the toilet handle was broken, there were food crumbs under the couch, and the room had a strong unpleasant odor. After I reported these issues, the staff moved us to a complimentary upgraded room. While it was slightly larger and in somewhat better condition, it still had a noticeable musty or unpleasant smell. During our stay, we also noticed that several rooms on our floor were completely sealed off. Although we don’t know the reason, seeing multiple rooms closed made us even more concerned about the overall condition of the property. Ultimately, we decided to leave because we no longer felt comfortable staying there due to the condition of the rooms and our health and safety concerns. To make matters worse, the hotel has refused to provide any refund, despite the significant issues we encountered. I understand that problems can happen, but guests shouldn’t have to choose between staying in a room they don’t feel is safe or losing their money. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this hotel.

The rooms are very outdated. Broken ceramic between the bathroom and the carpet floors my boyfriend cut his toe. Try to get some coffee at 9 AM. The guy at the front desk told me it is over and refused to get me any help for more coffee. Was not very friendly at all. The pool was absolutely filthy and shut down. Smelled like mildew throughout the entire hotel, poor location property taking over by weeds absolutely terrible stay
