Pool bottom was slippery gross looks of algae..not taken care of. I usually always stay here when in albert lea... they need to clean the pool..and for a heated pool its freezing..

Nice location just off the Hi way. Main problem was the TV,s were out in the whole hotel and because their hotel did not have very many guests stay they did not have any hot breakfast for the quests. For $140.00 not very impressed

The bed is phenomenal! The woman at the front desk was so helpful and getting me a hotel in Missouri for the next night the hot tub was nice and hot. The water in the shower was nice and hot and the little lotion bottle hanging off the wall was cute.

Very nice room. Quite,clean,comfortable bed. Pool was clean. All employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Would recommend this for anyone.

Very clean property. When I first pulled in, I could tell it was more suited for an easy exit for truckers. It is very well kept and lit. The place was very clean. There were many many families staying there as well. I felt super safe. Right next-door was a large convenience store and a couple of Dining options.

The only complaint I would have is that when we entered the room and I checked that bathroom, there was urine in the stool and no one flushed it. So I had to clean the toilet.

The hotel is very loud. We were in a room under the staircase and could hear people walking up and down all through the night. We weren't able to sleep very well. It was clean, but the fixtures are old.

They are updating the hotel. While it looks nice, there are some major flaws. Loudest bed ever. The mattress is comfortable but it’s on a metal plate. Every time you get in or out or move around, it sounds like thunder or a metal drum banging. Strangest hotel bed I’ve ever experienced. The bed is also high so the senior citizen I’m traveling with can’t get into the bed. She’s going to have to sleep in a chair. On the other hand, the toilet is so low that I have to help her get off of it. I would not stay here again.

Unfortunately, we were placed in a room on the 2nd floor near an open balcony above the front desk. The room was fantastic until about 5am when other guests began departing. Then it became unbearably noisy as if someone was having a conversation in our room. We had a late arrival the night before making it even more disappointing. I’m positive that if we were in just about any other room in the hotel it would not have been a problem. Beware of room 215. Hopefully the management only places guests in this room again only if absolutely necessary.

Good stop for a night. There’s a truck stop next door so I would think it could be noisy. Either we were really tired or it was a slow truck night. Best night sleep in 8 nights. Bed was great. If you’re a breakfast person - skip it.

Front desk people were very sweet! Hotel is very outdated WHICH I don’t mind! It gives a little nostalgic feel to it! But the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Probably a very old mattress with lots of dead skill cells and hair and just so uncomfortable to sleep on. There was no body wash either in the shower. The plug ins for a charger would not work. The room was like 78 degrees when we got there and could not figure out the thermostat for awhile. Tv was the worst it was so old you couldn’t watch anything on it or even connect ur phone to it. Shower was so old and the pressure was just the awful and there tub is so old and outdated it was probably very clean but it felt dirty and old. There’s barely anything to eat around the hotel expect fast food. There’s nothing to really DO either. It’s definitely more for a one night trucker stay or just need something cheap and quick. It’s definitely not a resort type of hotel by any means and we knew that going in just definitely expected a little bit more

Checked into this property after a long road trip. I usually stay at choice hotels so I thought this was a safe bet. The staff was not professional. There was a large dog behind the check-in counter, which seemed offputting. The shower was so short that I had to bend down just to wet my hair. The hallways and overall appearance was very outdated. The coffee was not good. The cleanliness was average. I would not recommend or stay there again.

Our goal was to make it to a family members home in the Cities. However, due to a couple of issues we realized that was going to happen so we made a last minute hotel reservation. When we arrived we were tired and a bit overwhelmed. Our hostess was so sweet and after we told her what happened she said "you deserve an upgrade to your room" and gave us a jacuzzi suite. What a fantastic treat! The room was comfortable and quiet and just what we needed.

I especially liked the breakfast and housecleaning crew. They were very friendly and helpful. All seemed to be very happy. I do wish though that some staff not smoke at the front door and keep trash cans clean and emptied.

Good stop for a night. There’s a truck stop next door so I would think it could be noisy. Either we were really tired or it was a slow truck night. Best night sleep in 8 nights. Bed was great. If you’re a breakfast person - skip it.

check in was quick and easy, room was clean but the toilet was very low to floor, Breakfast was good many options. The floor between the entrance door and rug was very slick due to the snow noriced in the morning they put a small rug there.

The hotel was everything we needed and nothing we didn’t need for an overnight stay while passing through. Staff was friendly and helpful. Our bed was comfortable and the shower was great. Breakfast was included in our stay. Nothing fancy but a nice selection.

Nice location just off the Hi way. Main problem was the TV,s were out in the whole hotel and because their hotel did not have very many guests stay they did not have any hot breakfast for the quests. For $140.00 not very impressed

Very nice room. Quite,clean,comfortable bed. Pool was clean. All employees were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and fresh. Would recommend this for anyone.

I especially liked the breakfast and housecleaning crew. They were very friendly and helpful. All seemed to be very happy. I do wish though that some staff not smoke at the front door and keep trash cans clean and emptied.

The room was fine overall, but the experience didn't justify the price. The breakfast selection was fairly limited compared to similarly-priced hotels, and the biggest issue was the in-room coffee maker. When I brewed a cup, it produced an odor that smelled like rotten meat. I reported it to the front desk, and they acknowledged the problem and said they'd make a note of it. What disappointed me was the lack of any effort to make things right. Even a simple apology, an offer of fresh coffee from the lobby, or another small gesture would have gone a long way. Maybe I was just unlucky, but it also felt like another example of a trend I've noticed while traveling lately: paying more and getting less. It wasn't a bad stay, but it wasn't a particularly good value either.

The property was very run down and not well-maintained. Our room’s temperature was awful as the unit would either get too cold or too hot and the unit made some loud clanking noise all night long and made for nobody getting a good sleep. The refrigerator did not get cold, the microwave didn’t work well. The breakfast was horrible and their was a policy that we were told we couldn’t eat it in our room we paid for. If you enjoy basic human autonomy, privacy, and a clean place… stay far from here
