The hot tub was just lukewarm and the pool was freezing. I did talk to staff, the first night they said they would have maintenance look at it. The second day, I was told that the hot tub was at maximum temperature -- 98 degrees. That is NOT a hot tub temp and is the biggest reason I will not return to this hotel when I visit family in the area again (which I do frequently). Breakfast was average for a hotel but the pre-made microwaved omelets were cold. Staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. It's MN winter, please use some salt, the walkways outside and parking areas were very slippery even right outside of the front door.

The hot tub was not usable, they were treating it with chemicals at 4 PM in the afternoon… I thought that was inconvenient and disappointing. Could that not be done overnight when gas are not going to use it?

The hotel was fine, would not stay again. Was packed with a sports team (not hotels fault) but we were not able to use pool/hot tub or enter breakfast area at any time because it was PACKED with people. Even in the evening they took over the entire building. Only one elevator out of 2 was working so very slow to get to room.

The 5 dollar parking fee they nonchalantly told me I had to pay even though the location is surrounded by empty parking spots and is in a suburban location that does not warrant the charge. I will never stay at another Hampton because of such charge.

Room was very clean, bleach white bathroom is appreciated. Common areas weren’t the cleanest. We were on 3rd floor and the elevator was out of order and the vending machine was broken. Staff was less than thankful or friendly when I made them aware of someone dropping their food in the stairwell.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this hotel. It was extremely clean, the room was comfortable and well stocked. There was a 24 hour coffee bar and the breakfast was terrific. I would stay here again.

Good location for business in Burnsville. Easy on/off of I-35. Morning breakfast was good and area food area was clean. Arrived at 7:10pm to check in. Another person arrived to check in. We stood at front desk, hitting the bell and, even calling their lobby phone… No employee was in the bldg. until 7:43. A lady finally appeared and no explanation given. The next morning at 7:55am… same issue for people at front desk. Bathroom has mold in ceiling and tub caulking. Hotel is tired, desk has an employee issue! Sheets, old, cheap. Carpet in rooms is old.

We were in room 107. It by far was the worse smelling hotel room we have ever stayed at. The room smelled like mold and the smell is still in my nose two days later. We would have requested a different room but had to get to an appointment immediately after checking in. There were also some kind of fruit flies in the room.

Everything was great except for a couple of maintenance issues. Neither the drain in the shower or the sink drained acceptably. Also, the tv has some spots where pixels appeared to not be working. The staff was great and the Hoyle is very clean.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel. The front desk and breakfast staff were the redeeming quality of this hotel. We didn't meet any other staff so I can't comment on housekeeping. The beds were comfy, the bathroom adequate, but we were hit with a very strong musty smell when walking into the room!! This hotel is located in the 'V' of 2 major hwys so the road noise is incredible, which is not helpful if youre a light sleeper!! The breakfast staff were great but the breakfast wasn't! Also, lots of fruit flies buzzing around the food area which is not appealing at all!! We would not stay here again, neither would we recommend others to this hotel.

We needed a late check-in time due to a late arrival for our flight. Frank took our call about that and made sure to note it for the front desk. The woman at the front desk was so welcoming and friendly. We give the staff here high marks for making our stay easy and pleasant. Our room is excellent and there are nice amenities here. Very happy with our choice. We would definitely stay here again.

Upon arrival, the front desk person was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Then when they started to explain the extra fees, I was getting my credit card out and when I set it on the desk they just stopped explaining and swiped my card with no further explanations. Then after my visit, I notice I am charged for the fee that wasn’t fully explained upon check-in, and another unknown fee. I call right away and a much more helpful person answered the phone who apologized right away and said they would need a manager to reverse the charges. It took another day, but they did reverse the charge. I will never stay there again.

Upon arrival, the front desk person was very unfriendly and unwelcoming. Then when they started to explain the extra fees, I was getting my credit card out and when I set it on the desk they just stopped explaining and swiped my card with no further explanations. Then after my visit, I notice I am charged for the fee that wasn’t fully explained upon check-in, and another unknown fee. I call right away and a much more helpful person answered the phone who apologized right away and said they would need a manager to reverse the charges. It took another day, but they did reverse the charge. I will never stay there again.

We liked how close it was to the volleyball tournament. The guy that helped us on Saturday and Sunday morning he was so helpful and nice. The lady that was working that Saturday night was so rude and it wasnt just us it was everyone who was helped by her. I dont think she enjoys her job. I sure hope she gets a talking to about her attitude. I know alot of people complained about her.

Room was spacious, clean and bed was very comfortable. Considering location next to major highway, room was relatively quiet - no problem sleeping. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We stayed 1 night at this hotel. The front desk and breakfast staff were the redeeming quality of this hotel. We didn't meet any other staff so I can't comment on housekeeping. The beds were comfy, the bathroom adequate, but we were hit with a very strong musty smell when walking into the room!! This hotel is located in the 'V' of 2 major hwys so the road noise is incredible, which is not helpful if youre a light sleeper!! The breakfast staff were great but the breakfast wasn't! Also, lots of fruit flies buzzing around the food area which is not appealing at all!! We would not stay here again, neither would we recommend others to this hotel.

The hot tub was just lukewarm and the pool was freezing. I did talk to staff, the first night they said they would have maintenance look at it. The second day, I was told that the hot tub was at maximum temperature -- 98 degrees. That is NOT a hot tub temp and is the biggest reason I will not return to this hotel when I visit family in the area again (which I do frequently). Breakfast was average for a hotel but the pre-made microwaved omelets were cold. Staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be. It's MN winter, please use some salt, the walkways outside and parking areas were very slippery even right outside of the front door.

That was the worst breakfast buffet I have ever seen at a Hampton. We usually choose for the quality of the rooms and the very good breakfast. The selections looked like they like they were cleaning up the dining room and this was at 7:30 AM. There was very limited selection of hot entrees. There was only half a dozen slices of white bread. No bagels , no wheat bread, no English muffins, no bagels , no peanut butter, no cream cheese. Very substandard from your usual.

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay at this hotel. It was extremely clean, the room was comfortable and well stocked. There was a 24 hour coffee bar and the breakfast was terrific. I would stay here again.

The hot tub could be hotter, hotel just needs some updates. The bathtub in the room was kind of outdated. Needs some repair. Overall nice staff. Maybe work on breakfast items. The biscuits were as hard as a rock.

We stayed here three years ago and had a better experience. Granted, there was construction and remodeling, but the carpet had scraps of debris in the stairways. The desk was not friendly. They acted like it was just a job without a welcome or a cheerful voice. Our room was dark, relatively clean, but had an odor, like someone had been smoking in it and they tried to cover it up. Then the toilet backed up! Overall, it was OK and we had a good price for it. If you just want a place to sleep and are gone most of the time, this works Ok. We'll look for another hotel next time.

Door to those facilities had a notice that they were shut down by the state. Room was clean when we entered. However, we stayed 2 days, and there was no turn down service. Sheets didnt properly fit the bed, and we had to go to the front desk to ask for towels and TP for day 2.
