The carpet is stained in many places in the hallways and in the room. The room smells of mold. The shower tiles are dirty. The hot tub worked but the jets are broken. In the room, the chair is old and worn out. The bed was comfortable. This place has a 2016 Trip Advisor award. That is 10 years ago and not a lot had been updated since then. We didn’t eat breakfast there. I picked up a bagel and it was stale and hard. The in room a/c units were good.

If you’re traveling with pets know that this is a rip off. I booked a suite and was told at check-in that they won’t rent a suite if there are pets. We paid a pet fee up front at check-in in, DIDNT STAY THERE- and then was charged another fee at the end! My dogs never stayed there. On top of this, we were charged the room fee for a suite. Avoid this place if you want an honest business.

Nice place, friendly staff. Learning of my bad back, moved me to a 1st floor room near parking area. Room was clean, modern, A/C worked well and wasn't too loud. Only complaint was the chlorine odor in my poolside room (maybe better door seals). Also some of the hallway carpet was badly stained and worn, long overdue for replacement. Will definitely stay there again if I travel to Fergus Falls.
