Friendly staff. Loved the colours of the decor. Great breakfast. Nice gym that wasn’t too hot, and had working equipment (unlike many hotels I’ve stayed).

The breakfast was great, elevator extremely quiet and wonderful staff. Their cleaning communication service needs some help.

Excellent room at an affordable price. The free breakfast was fine and the free on-site parking was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The toilet bowl needed a cleaning, but other than that it was an enjoyable experience.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. A computer and printer are available for guests to use free of charge. The breakfast was a little disappointing because there was no hot water for the oatmeal, but they did have a pancake maker. There is a beautiful lake and gazebo, a quiet place to relax and enjoy the scenery after your Denny's meal. There is easy parking and it's close to the highway and easy to find.

If you are single, or for business trip this is a good choice. Not good for Families nothing good for kids especially no pool

This hotel is clean and comfortable. We had a room with a king bed; the bed was very comfortable. We greatly appreciated two chairs (one a recliner!) in the room, so we could sit without having to sit on bed with back to the headboard. The exit for this hotel is under construction. Once it's open, this will be an easy on and off for I-94. Breakfast room is as the photo shows--bright and cheery. Breakfast is so-so. The eggs were watery--ugh. The rest was okay. Staff person was attentive and area was clean. Front desk staff were friendly. There are a few things that need improving in room. There need to be towel bars and/or hooks to hang washcloths and towels. There was nothing near the sink and only one near the shower. If I wash my hands, there is no place to put the hand towel. The king-size bed had 5 or 6 pillows, but they were so-so. The parking lot needs repaving. We arrived in a rain storm and there was no place to park without stepping in a huge puddle. Also, there should be better signage about the entrances.

The staff is very nice. Check in was fast and simple. I love how they have a fitness center and laundry room for guests. The place is very clean.

“This place was absolutely disgusting. The floor was sticky—no way I could let my baby crawl. The fridge had mold, trash was left in the room, and the headboard was filthy. Clearly no pride in cleaning. I asked for a refund because it was unlivable. Do yourself a favor and don’t book here—it’s nasty and not safe.”

The carpet and floor in the first room (room 402) was extremely dirty and smelled like human urine. I was in the room for 30 minutes, did not sit or touch anything and I had to leave due to the gross smell. They then moved me to room 229, which smelled like wet dog and mold. I then just returned the keys to them after 15 minutes in the room, and told them that I could not stay in any of those rooms. The manager refused to refund me the booking costs for 2 nights. Would not recommend this place to anyone. It was disgustingly dirty.

Situated in a quiet area. Receptionist with colorful hair was very friendly. Good breakfast in a pretty decent room. This place supposedly should have a beautiful river view alongside it, but the construction was a bummer. Toilet seat was loose so it slides when sat on. The toilet flush is tooooo loud. The guy in the room down the hall kept banging his door open and shut in the middle of the night to past midnight disturbing not just our peace. Carpets were old, dirty and dusty on the sides and corners. Our white socks turned brownish. The bed! My side of the bed was lower than the other side, so my husband kept sliding to my side while we sleep and i had to push and wake him up several times. When we opened the door, the musty smell welcomed us. They need to dry out the washrooms and clean or change A/c filters as the smell is coming from it more. I hope the management will do something about this, esp the bed and smell . And I hope the construction materials will go away soon. This place has a potential to be a gem.

Check in went smoothly. I should have check the whole room before leaving for the evening. I came back to my room at night and hop in the shower. I noticed the bathroom was not clean and the shower had couple hair strands in the tub and bugs. It was late and I was exhausted from the day, I just didn’t wanna deal with moving to a new room. My husband had to wipe down the bathtub down before using. I’ve been a housekeeper before, this room was definitely not wiped down nor the tub was cleaned out.

Excellent marks for the staff, comfort of the bed, water pressure. No weird smells, easy parking. Not bad hot breakfast. But... The carpet in my room was so grimy that the bottoms of my feet were black within an hour of arriving and kicking off my shoes in my room. Some hair in the bathtub, too. But the carpet was my biggest complaint. Very unexpected, given previous experiences with this chain.

Hotel was ok. Front desk seemed nice and orderly. Rooms were a little on the thrown together side. Carpets were filthy. Looked like there was water damage in the past and you could smell mildew. Maybe I just got a bad pick of the rooms. Location was good. Breakfast was good.

What I liked: close location to I-94. Easy to get to doctor's without paying big bucks. Handicap accessible room. The bathroom was clean. Linen was bright white. LivInn provides wonderful Bibles and Bible dictionaries for new believers to take home. ❤️ What I disliked: VERY high beds. Hard to lift my son into it. Very short and skinny tubs. I like to soak after a long day and really couldn't. The tub stopper was also broken. I had to manually lift it to drain the tub. I wish clean towel placement was not over an open toilet. Drawers weren't cleaned out. Bottle tops in bedside drawers. The worst part of the room was the incredibly sticky carpet. Every square inch stuck to my bare feet. It made me feel extremely uneasy, because I don't know if it was just that dirty, or if someone had animals that used this room before me and it wasn't properly cleaned. It made me regret pre-reserving a room later this month. I couldn't let my son on the floor.

Tv was not working in my room.

My fridge didn’t have a knob for me to turn the handle to decrease the temp. The receptionist had to come and use a screw on it. The blinds do nothing to keep the lights out so if you sleep in the daytime, bring a sleep mask. The breakfast “buffet” is the usual eggs, sausage, cereal, bagel and muffins. Typical hotel meals. 3/5 stars. Wasn’t bad…wasn’t great.

This was my third or fourth stay at this hotel. This time, my room was different. It had an interesting, more roomy layout. I liked it. The bathroom was not as roomy, and in order to take a bath, I had to unscrew the metal top piece on the drain plug, push down the apparatus, then screw the top piece back on. At least I could make it function! The breakfast was delicious. A few hot items available (eggs, potatoes, sausage). Good coffee with vanilla creamer. Fresh apples and bananas, yogurts, oatmeal packets, and sundry baked items. I quite enjoy breakfast there. The crew who works there is always kind and attentive. The bed this stay needs to be replaced. There was a large sagging spot where support was lacking. The springs had flattened. It made it very uncomfortable to sleep on. There was some flaking pleather on the office chair in the room. I'm a cleaner, and I always look in the corners and behind the toilet to see how well the cleaning crew does, and I was very impressed with the job they did on this room. Very clean indeed. Great job!

Noise from elevator movement was disturbing.

Pillows were a bit too thin but manageable. Biggest issue was the noise. We could hear EVERYTHING from our neighbors (toilet, sink, shower, them having "fun", phone calls, convos, music), we heard kids all the way at the end of the hall, dogs barking. Walls seem paper thin. On the positive side, the staff was friendly and helpful, very welcoming. A great experience there.

We felt like we snagged a great deal on our room at the LivINN, and though we don't generally have super high expectations of hotels, this one seemed from the outset to be much newer and perhaps a bit nicer than other options around the same budget. (Although we thought the listing photos of the room with the bathtub center of the bedroom a little hilarious!) In person, the communal areas do actually seem pretty modern and updated. The rooms are just okay. Ours was pretty small, and thankfully had the tub in the bathroom, but perfectly serviceable. The bathroom itself was pretty dingy and did not have a fan we could turn on, which caused the entire room to feel VERY humid. The carpet was constantly damp to walk on, the windows stayed foggy, and it had a distinct mildewy smell in the room. There was a bit of what appeared to be mold in the ice bucket (which, for obvious reasons, we did not use). The bed itself was clean, large, and comfortable. The fridge was ample and worked well. The TV sometimes worked but sometimes gave no picture. The phone did not work at all. The shower knob was VERY difficult to turn. Only one bedside lamp worked. Worst of all, the walls are paper-thin. There were people evidently sleeping in their junk-filled SUV just outside our window for several nights, and their conversations would wake us up: we could hear every. single. word. Overall, this is a decent budget hotel but not as fancy or as upkept as the images suggest. Don't expect luxury!

My flight was cancelled due to weather. I tried calling the hotel three different times and no answer. I emailed too and never received a response. I had better not be charged for a room I did use because they can't answer the phone!

The check in process was very efficient and the desk clerk was very friendly and informative. Our room needed some work. The sink and tub drains drained very slowly. The mattresses were somewhat saggy and the frames were very squeaky/noisy with every movement during sleep. We were there for three days and had no housekeeping visits therefore not even having clean and dry towels.

Rude nightshift front desk clerk, threatening my friend that rented the room with me about being in her vehicle in the parking lot, even though she informed him that she has a room here, beating on the vehicle and she had to call the police, he was yelling in a crazy way and scared her made her fear for her life, even after she give him all the information he needed to know, i will not and wont every stay here again, iam going to be speaking to Corporate in the morning, this has been the worse Experience at any hotel i have every been! And he lied and said it was there policy that you could not be in your vehicle if you rented a room!

We picked this hotel as a late option, so it was fine as a basic place to stay. We discovered in the morning that the shower handle was extremely difficult to turn on, and the water pressure wasn't good (probably because there was an issue with the shower handle). When I let the front desk person know as we checked out, she didn't bother to write it down, and didn't seem surprised or sorry about it. Also, after our 5 hour drive home, I realized I'd left my fitbit on the counter in the room. Long story short, I called three times over the next three days and each time was told that someone from housekeeping would get back to me, and no one ever did. Although it was obviously my fault for leaving it there, the follow up service was terrible.

Customer service is top notch here! Beds were semi comfy and bathrooms were kindof loud from the upstairs unit. Other than that, breakfast was good with a few selections. The AC unit worked great and a quiet hotel stay with no major issues. Will definitely return.

The daytime front line staff were warm, friendly and very helpful. Complete opposite for the night staff. Seemed like it was a chore to get up from watching tv to help and they must have left thier smiles at another job. Close to everywhere i wanted to go. Breakfast was not so great. Jelly eggs. Cold sausages. Rooms were nice. Not quiet though. Good lotd the doors from other rooms closing were loud. The fridge made this wierd popping sound when turning on and off that would wake you. Over all 2.5 out of 5. I would recommend due to cost, location, daytime people.

Always a good experience, although we were that the front desk wouldn’t let us check into our room an hour and twenty minutes early unless we paid $27.

Staff was extraordinary, every one of them - reception, breakfast attendant, maids, and so on. Property appears brand-new (except for the parking lot.) Better than the HIE I usually stay in.

Once you are in the hotel, it is absolutely lovely. The room and bathroom are spacious, and the bed is lovely with 5 pillows. Driving up to the hotel did not feel good. Construction made us miss the turn to the hotel, and the hotel feels isolated. We parked our car literally right next to the main entrance, and while the hotel is absolutely lovely, I did not feel like it was a safe area outside of the hotel.

Property was close to Regions hospital with easy access to the highway. Room was small but quiet and peaceful

All in all a good basic place to stay. Decent breakfast for free, free parking, safe. The carpets are in need of a deep cleaning and the showers are a bit basic and meh, but overall a good place to stay and centrally located to St Paul and the surrounding suburbs

Tucked back off the main road in an older commercial area. Denny's next door looks a little sketchy but Domino's is close by.

Easy to find and great access to all local attractions.

We were in the area for a Vikings football game so the location worked well for us. Only 20 mins from US Bank stadium and about the same to Mall of America. It is outside of the city center so not a good walkable location but nice and quiet. Hotel seemed fairly recently renovated, was clean and included a decent breakfast. Overall a good value for the price. We would stay again.

Easy parking with a Denny’s next door. It right by the 3M facility so it appears to cater to them. There is some construction going on in the area so if you miss the ramp or if you take the wrong road, it can be hard to get to the place but once the construction is done, it’ll probably be easy to get into and away from because it’s right off the interstate as you enter into Saint Paul.

The hotel looks very new. The bed was soft and the blankets smelled clean. I enjoyed sausage links and yogurt at breakfast. The muffin I ate tasted old.

What a great find just outside of St Paul! I wasn’t keen on the steep cost of hotels in St Paul but this place is plenty close and, seriously, 2 nights were equatable to 1 in the city. It’s well maintained and the staff were very friendly, it was a great place to stay! The complimentary breakfast was really lovely too, great variety and quality.
