Air conditioner was new, but absolutely no water pressure in the shower. Swimming pool in hot tub were up and running and both in great condition. But the elevator was filthy and smelled awful. Beds were really comfortable, and you could see fresh paint and carpet throughout. Free breakfast in the morning is very basic with very little options. As this hotel was half the cost of anything nearby... it was definitely worth what we paid.

The room was clean and comfortable. We brought our Roku with us to use on the TV which we were able to hook up however the Wi-Fi provided by the hotel is really slow so we were unable to use the Roku. The pool was ice cold but the hot tub was nice and warm however the Jets are not very strong. And you don't have to worry about the cleanliness of the pool or hot tub as they use quite a bit of chlorine so prepare to have your eyes burn a little bit. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. And the breakfast was exceptional. There are plenty of things to choose from- cereal, pastries, hot food items such as biscuits sausage and eggs. They also have fruit and juice and yogurt available as well. There are more than enough dining options within a mile of the hotel. Definitely one of my favorite places to stay.

The rooms were spotless, the staff was extremely friendly. There is an elevator which is convenient. There is a hot breakfast which was pretty decent. I would recommend getting coffee from a local gas station as the coffee in the lobby is pretty weak. The only complaint is that the pool and hot tub close so early. They close at 10:00, which we were told by the desk clerk that we could go in after 10:00 as we got in late from a concert we attended. We went up to our rooms and changed and when we came downstairs at 10:05 it was a different attendant who refused to unlock the pool. Aside from that all in all it was a very pleasant stay. I definitely recommend and would definitely stay here again.

While it served the primary purpose of providing a roof, bed, and breakfast, there were some problem areas. THE GOOD: The hotel and room were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. THE BAD: (1) The entry light in the room was motion-activated and would come on every time someone walked near the door/bathroom, even in the middle of the night; and there did not seem to be a way to turn this off. (2) The shower’s water pressure was crazily low and temperature control was difficult. (3) The sample bottles of shampoo were oddly hard to get shampoo out of. (4) The elevator was out of service, so the upper floors could only be reached by stairs. (5) The pool/hot tub were being painted, so were not available. (6) There was no tea or boiled water (which we use for instant oatmeal) available at the free breakfast. There was not even water available. We ended up getting a cup, getting water from the bathroom, and heating it in the microwave. (7) Breakfast was not maintained in an ongoing basis, and offerings would just end up depleted. When we went, there were no plates available; so we used the paper bowls for everything. (8) The ice machine on the second floor (where we stayed) did not work, but there was ice available on the first floor.

Our room was great, everything was clean and in order. The pool is not heated and was very cold but the hot tub was wonderful!

It was a quiet, comfortable room. Friendly staff. The only complaint I have is that the pool is only open from noon until 9pm. I was unable to enjoy this amenity, as the pool didn’t open until I was heading to work and was already closed by the time I got back.

Chose this place because of pool and hot tub, both of which were under repair but not stated on app. Ice machine did not work, no tissues in room(taking shortcuts in prep) and not all prep was done for breakfast, no butter. Staff stays hidden i back room and are very argumentative with customers

The facility was very dirty. Our room was not entirely clean. The housekeeping staff tried to hide the broken ironing board in the bathroom. I’ve posted a picture.!! There was no ice bucket made available in the room and when I went downstairs to tell them in at the front desk, I need an ice bucket. He proceeded to tell me there was a nice bucket and I just needed to look more thoroughly in the room after explaining to him that I did look throughout the room and I needed a nice ice bucket. He eventually went and got me one. Other patrons on our floor, shared with me that the pool was ice. Cold in the hot tub was so over chlorinated that it made their eyes water so we did not even make use of those amenities. There was a hole in the floor underneath the air conditioner, and I was concerned about whether or not pest could get into the room. In the morning when we went to check out, there was absolutely no coffee, no hot water and only minimal food available at the so-called hot breakfast. The breakfast consisted of cold cereal no milk and hot were too waffle irons with no waffle mix to be found.! The gentleman at the front desk on the night we checked in and this morning when we checked out was very polite and that is the only positive I have to say about this hotel Whoever owns it should really invest some money and a cleaning it up and taking care of the amenities and making sure that the rooms are adequate. I would never stay here again!!

If cleanliness is high on your priority list, do not stay here. The pictures provided do not accurately represent the condition of the property. Immediately upon entering the building, I started regretting my choice of accommodations. I was not expecting a 5 star hotel, but I did expect a clean, organized lobby (like the picture showed). Check in was quick and easy. The inside of the elevator was rough looking and needed some attention. When we got to the room, we stripped the bed down to look for bed bugs. The first bed was okay. As I took the sheet off of the corner of the second bed, I found a urine stained mattress pad underneath. I went back down to the desk and reported it to the clerk. He said he would send housekeeping up to take care of it. I requested a new room and he honored my request. The second room had clean beds, but the bathroom was not in good condition. I didn’t get a chance to look in the first bathroom, so I am unsure of its condition. We accepted the second room because we would only be sleeping in the room for one night after the football game. This morning when I turned on the bathroom light, several cockroaches scampered in the tub. We gathered our things and checked out quickly. We did not stay for the complimentary breakfast, which was another reason we chose this hotel. I wish I would have asked for a refund after finding the urine stained bedding.

The towels were dirty, bathroom in a very bad condition. Caulking every where around the buth shower. The elevator was dirty. We even checked the beds to make sure it was safe to sleep in.

Great management and staff! Very friendly and professional. I can’t stress enough how clean the entire place is! The bathroom is huge! This is a hidden treasure and we will be staying here every time we are in the area!

Room was clean, all the staff were super nice always making sure everything with our stay was perfect. The breakfast was really good. Location was great too pretty much everything you could need within a stones throw of the hotel.

The front desk woman/manager was super nice, but the property is not great. Had to get help with my key card twice upon check in because it wasn’t working. The room smelled like pee, there were weird cleaning things like urinal sponges in the shower that had green spots on them and hair on the walls of the shower, drain and in the sink. There were also crumbs of something on the floor. I booked a pet friendly room, but I still expected it to be clean. Breakfast had limited options and was basically cleaned out by 7:30 (supposed to be from 6-9). Elevator is super loud and moves slowly. Saw broken glass in the parking lot like a shattered car window so I assume that is an issue. It’s right off the highway which is a convenient location, but obviously presents its own issue.

This place is right off the highway, rooms are big, clean and comfortable, building is clean. My only complaint was a little bit of maintenance needed in the shower.

Clerk brought us a second chair upon request. Internet was unreliable and slow. Shower was difficult to regulate temperature.

Plenty of room and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is a hot one and not just carbs as so many hotels have. The indoor pool was freezing but it is Missouri in February so of course. The hot tub was nice and hot though. Plenty of restaurants close by, a gas station with adult beverages is in easy walking distance. Quite pleased with this facility.

Room was very outdated. Bed was difficult to sleep in as we each rolled to the center of the bed. It was like bed had no center support.

The hotel is right on the highway, and the traffic is really loud. It wasn't too bad after midnight when traffic slowed down, but you will hear cars drive by. The linins and carpet were clean. The area around the bathroom edges were not real clean. The breakfast is free, so that was nice, and they have several choices. I ate the waffle and really enjoyed it. They also had cereal, biscuits, and precooked circle shaped eggs. They had orange juice and coffee that I remember. The guy at the desk was nice. When we ate breakfast he stood in there while we ate. I think he was trying to be helpful, but it made me feel watched. I think it would be better to just walk through occasionally. Overall, the stay was fine. I probably wouldn't stay there for a vacation, but as an overnight stop while traveling I would stay again.

While the staff was very nice and helpful, the property was older and in disrepair. The furniture was broken, scuffed and table wobbly. Phone cord wouldn’t stay plugged in and the WiFi didn’t work in our room. We could barely get a signal in the hallway.

Bed wasn’t comfy and the toilet was messed up when we got in the room and no hot water either

The staff was friendly and helpful. Most everything was very good. Our room was clean and everything worked well. The recliner in our room was very comfortable, but the bed was not. You could feel the springs in it. I mentioned it at the desk when we left and was told that they would check into it. The breakfast had a nice variety and the food was good.The hot tub was was very nice, but the pool was a bit chilly. We could not access the internet, but we didn’t ask about it, because it wasn't that important to us. We would consider staying there again.

The water quality at this location is very poor. The water was very "soft" and felt like you couldn't rinse any of your soap off of your body using it. The pressure was also pretty poor but not a huge issue. For the price, it was worth it though. Just wish the water had been better!

The room was really clean and the staff was super helpful ensuring they had a pet-friendly room. They messaged me back right away while I was on the road to reassure me. We arrived super late (4 a.m.) because of weather and got checked in so fast! We were exhausted so it was appreciated!

The staff was great and accommodated every need of ours. The TV in our room didn’t work and within minutes they came with a new TV. We asked for extra towels and again we got them immediately. Very nice stay.

I very much liked the staff whether in person or on the phone. They were more than helpful, they were personable. I felt I was staying "in their house" as a welcome guest. Breakfast was wonderful. The rooms were clean and quiet for sleeping. The entire facility felt safe and comfortable. Will be there again when I go to KC

The staff was nice when we first got there. Then went to breakfast and they didnt want to feed us anything. Its supposed to ne a hot breakfast. Then they refused to give us are deposit back because they said we had to many people in the room. we had 2 rooms which contain 1 adult and 3 kids. Then the nerve of these people called the police on us and said we stole their TVs. I would not stay here. We go out of town all the time and this was by far the worse experience i have ever had at a hotel.

Staff always friendly and interested in meeting our needs.

I travel a lot so I've stayed at some good and unfortunately some bad places. This one I rated a 5 star because I had a wonderful stay here! They are kind, courteous and they did all they could to make this a pleasurable stay! They have cameras for the parking lots which I really appreciate and the rooms were very clean along with the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was nice and fresh and they kept everything stocked, it was just a really good stay, I give them a two thumbs up for sure!

I was yelled at by the owner “for being late” I arrived at 8:15pm. I said I would pay at the hotel, he told me had I been 10 minutes later he would cancel me, like he did the last lady and there weren’t any rooms around available. His senate said there were 3. 2nd I paid for a suite with a bedroom that had a door on it as I brought my 2 teenage children and MY BOYFRIEND!!! The room was one large room with a king and queen next to each other.. and a65 in tv 3 feet from a 55 in tv?!?!?!? How do you watch two tvs at one time?!? 3 feet from each other? The tin didn’t hold water, so the JET bath just continually drained. The hot tub was “broke” and with warm, had no jets. The pool housed no towels and the vending machine didn’t open fat snuck to retrieve purchases. When asked for help the same man said “I don’t own that”. I was asked to give a cash deposit at I didn’t have a credit card. Fine, but at check out I said I was ready and he simply said “ok, bye”. I had to remind him of my deposit and he then asked for my receipt, which I had.. and that took another 10 minutes to complete. A cash deposit, a $100 bill I gave him. I was given my $100 back in multiple bills. He paper clipped my room number to my deposit. Then after all that he asked w to give him a good review so other would stay. Absolutely not! Not what I paid for, yelled at for being late?? To a hotel?? I’m loyally throwing my hands up.

Property was very convenient to access the freeway. The hotel is very clean, and the staff was very friendly.

We were in town for a Chiefs night game and only needed a place to crash for the night. It’s about 10-15 minutes from the stadium, decent area, easy to get to. Room was clean, bug free. Attendant was friendly and helpful. Hot water pressure was low, which is my only real complaint. We did ask for a cot, which they couldn’t provide- they don’t have them, but we made it work. Breakfast was subpar, but considering the price point, you get what you pay for. The pool looked cleaner than the photos, but we didn’t have time to try.

Conveniently located off of I-70. Great location for Chiefs games. Clean and safe surrounding area.

Loved the location of this place, tucked in off 7 hwy, so you are not in all the hustle and bustle of the busy hwy, but everything you need is right there. Super close to I-70, but you never hear noise of the interstate. Loved the Tacos for Life just a walk across the parking lot. Very friendly staff. My room was exceptionally clean. Can't beat the price either. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice convenient motel. Walking distance to restaurants & gas station/convenient store. Room was comfortable. The breakfast was outstanding, many warm options & best biscuits & gravy. Staff is super friendly. The elevator got have been cleaner.

It was a ok place to stay for what I needed close to Arrowhead right off the road and plenty of places to go I'll stay there again

Very convenient to where we were going. It was clean only had decaffeinated coffee in room, which was disappointing. Overall was a decent place to stay, and would certainly stay again.

Breakfast needs a lot of help. While sausage, bacon, eggs and biscuits sounds good, I think they go with the cheapest they can find. It’s not very good. There was orange juice one day, but not the second. No butter or jelly.

The hot breakfast wasn’t that great and the pool is advertised as open but was down for renovation. Not confident about staying here again.

Pool was freezing, hot tub was enjoyable and the best part. When we checked in the front desk was abandoned and they didn’t believe we had a reservation until I showed them the paperwork (glad I printed it for easy reference) overall it’s really run down needs lots of work. There’s a noise when you use the elevator that’s disturbing and the toilet when flushed also has a loud/unusual sound coming from it. Shower is nasty there was something red all over the shower curtain and the tub part was peeling up. Brightside I didn’t see any bugs and the air conditioner worked! but it definitely could use a deep clean! Breakfast was hard like you could knock on the bagels and biscuits hard. No forks in sight with still plenty of breakfast time left to eat. I wouldn’t stay here again honestly. There’s better options for the same price.
