The amenities we expected weren’t there. The hot tub was down and out of service, no game room for kids, indoor pool was under maintenance and in our room there were issues with the toilet in our room and other problems such as cold food served from downstairs cafe. It just wasn’t what we usually see from this hotel.

skip Chateau go to Rock Lane Resort..... Chateau had no dinner service. went to both places to eat and no one waited on us. when they did it was so sloooow! 90 minutes no steak dinner!! No pool service eaither ya oreder and drinks never show up. Hot Tub is gross, no indoor pool as promoised . Also i asked them the day before about Kuerig maker to be replaced and once agian nope, so no coffee for the trip unless u go pay downstairs. lastly the air conditioner does not blow or cool down. oh and watch out for the back door patio lock. u can get locked out there. just horrible and no concerns on their part. just a room number we were!

Great experience. Friendly check-in, plenty of parking, beautiful view of the lake. They even have boat slip rentals, so I will definitely return and bring my boat. Very nice restaurant. Full service place.

The hotel itself was nice, and the bed—while firm—was still comfortable. The valet attendants were outstanding and truly the highlight of the stay. However, there were some disappointing aspects. During our entire three-night stay, housekeeping never cleaned the room, picked up dishes or trash, or brought fresh towels, despite us being gone early each day. For a resort, this was unexpected. Additionally, the spa and indoor pool were closed for renovations, which would have been helpful to know before booking. The resort fee also felt questionable, as many of the “resort” amenities were either unavailable or required an extra charge to use. I’ve traveled extensively across the U.S., and for the price, I’ve definitely experienced better value elsewhere.

Hotel was clean, pool area well maintained and staffed, entire area was very safe. The room was spacious and very comfortable, only negative was that there was no microwave in room, but otherwise it was a perfect spot.

During our stay, the outdoor hot tub was broken and therefore unable to use. The indoor hot tub was "over run" by teens that should have been supervised by their parents, hot tubs are NOT swimming pools. We were also unable to use the lounge that is to open at 5:00 pm, we were told they just simply weren't ready to open. A shopping/convenience store would be appreciated on the property for items that may have been forgotten during packing. A concierge would be most helpful at this site. Very nice, good bar and food, but very very pricey. Nice spa, but pool area -both indoor and out was very limited and outdated. Hot tubs were not functioning, spa pool was not functioning, less than 30 pool chairs for hundreds of guests. Water pressure in bathrooms were terrible.

We brought our dog and stayed on the dog friendly floor which seemed to be more dilapidated than the rest of the hotel. It was obvious the room hadn’t been updated in several years and wasn’t cleaned well; grime in the corners of the carpet, dusty fixtures etc. We were also disappointed that the hiking that was mentioned on the website was about a mile away and across the street. They did have some green areas but mostly we walked our dog in a parking lot, although it was a large parking lot. The food was average and overpriced but the coffee from the coffee shop was great as well as most of the staff we encountered. They were friendly and provided good customer service although it did appear that they were understaffed. They also advertised EV chargers and when we called to confirm this they reported there were “many” but none visible in the parking lot upon arrival. The next day we inquired with the front desk who said the chargers were located in the parking garage which is an addition fee. Upon locating the singular, not many, EV charger in the parking garage we discovered it did not have a cord and was just an outlet so we charged offsite which was inconvenient. We did utilize the spa during our stay and that was a lovely experience with all the amenities you’d except from a higher end spa.

The AC would not blow cold enough air (it never went below 73), there was a strong, mildew smell in the room, and then I was charged a resort fee when Hotels.com said all fees and taxes were included!

The evening view was fantastic. Most of the staff/service was great. The male at front desk, which i think was the manager, seemed to be arrogant and focused on certain customers. The rooms were good, but certain areas were dirty. The windows were not clean and could barely see the lake, which defeated the purpose of selecting the room with a lake view.

Started with check-in, room wasn’t ready. They were going to call when it was in approx 30 min. Never called, had to go check in again in 45 min. Property does not seem like it has had a complete clean in a while. Cobwebs several locations inside the hotel, room baseboards covered in dust, previous guest shirt in closet. Short staffed, had to wait significant times for almost everything, to be seated in cafe, bar, pool drinks, pizza. Abandoned hot tub out at the pool is an eye sore. Best part was Bonnie the bar tender and Daniel the door man. Called a Chateau, looks like a Chateau, NOT run or maintained like a Chateau. VERY overpriced, stay and food/drink.

The room was not very clean. Things that were in out of the way spots but still noticeable - clothing tags on the closet floor, crumbs on the floor at the edge of the couch, magnifying mirror and glass shelf not wiped off. Very disappointing, especially considering the price.

Check in time is 4:00, we arrived at 5:00 and the room wasn't ready. After being told the room needed to be "inspected" by a member of management first we finally got to get in at 5:30. There was trash on the floor, chips and food wrappers everywhere, bathroom mirrors was filthy and urine and feces stains in and on the toilet. After having stayed there for many years, I think this will be the last one and more than likely will not recommend this place in the future.

**Good things first:** The staff was very nice, and the view is amazing. It's also great to be away from the buzz of the Landing and the main strip. The location is definitely the best part of Chateau. Oh, and the food is pretty good too. **Now for the negatives:** Our room could have been cleaner. The carpet looked like it had never been shampooed, as there was a heavy buildup of dust underneath the nightstands. Honestly, it was kind of gross. The worst part of our stay, however, was the bed. The mattress was sunken in the center and was the worst hotel mattress I've ever slept on. I averaged about six hours of interrupted sleep because the bed was so uncomfortable. My wife was so tired from our stay that she had to take a nap when we got home. Overall, I don't believe this place offers good value.

There was food in the refrigerator from a previous guest. There was trash on the floor including a gummy bear (we don’t know if it was drugs or not). There was a huge coffee stain on the carpet. There was excessive amounts of dust on the top of all the lampshades. There was dust on cobwebs on the valence. There was massive amounts of dust on the carpet next to the walls. The painted walls were damaged and dingy looking. There was dust on the glass shelf and tissue box cover in the bathroom. The public areas of this hotel looked very nice, however our room was dingy and dirty. We stayed two nights and housekeeping never checked on our room and never brought towels or washcloths. My sister and I were traveling with our 90 year old mother. I would not recommend this hotel and I will never stay here again. Very disappointing.

This place is way overpriced for what it is. The rooms are dated. Room was hot. Stayed about 8-10 degrees higher than set. TV didn’t work. No satellite or cable, just an error message. You have to pay extra for parking and breakfast. View of the lake was nice, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for over $400 per night.

Loved the view of the lake and pool area from our King suite. Arrived too late to enjoy the balcony. Maybe next time. The carpeting is in need of replacement. We stepped on the tacks in the tack strips due to thinning carpet along the edges that separated the tile flooring in the wet bar area from the living room area. Bathroom accessories are very dated and dusty ( trash can and Kleenex box). Tiles in shower are in need of new grout. Beds were comfortable but pillows were tiny. Not king size to fit the bed size. One was very hard like a Little Rock and the other was extremely soft and squishy. No extra blankets in the room! Only 1 person on duty at the front desk. He was doing check-ins, room deliveries and valet service. Didn’t have time to answer the phone before we arrived, we called three different times. He was simply over stretched. Very bad customer service!! Hire some help so customers don’t wait 10-15 minutes to get checked in. He said the hotel wasn’t busy enough this time of year to warrant more employees being on staff. Bad management choices. Won’t be in a hurry to stay here again until they remodel and hire some help. Nice location but poor management. Not worth the prices you charge at all.

The Hotel scenery was beautiful IF you book a room with a lake view. I booked a “mountain” view room and it was disappointing. It overlooked an old large/noisy roof with a “rock” in the distance. When I asked to change to a lake view it was stunning….until check out and was charged a significant difference. The rooms and interior are dated. The bed was comfortable and the bellmen were amazing even with the room change. I would stay there again with only booking a lake view room and knowing the price.

During our entire three-night stay, housekeeping never cleaned the room, picked up dishes or trash, or brought fresh towels, despite us being gone early each day. For a resort, this was unexpected. Additionally, the spa and indoor pool were closed for renovations, which would have been helpful to know before booking. The resort fee also felt questionable, as many of the “resort” amenities were either unavailable or required an extra charge to use. I’ve traveled extensively across the U.S., and for the price, I’ve definitely experienced better value elsewhere.

Property does not seem like it has had a complete clean in a while. Cobwebs several locations inside the hotel, room baseboards covered in dust, previous guest shirt in closet. It was horrid. You could not get towels or wash cloths. There were no linens for the pullout bed. After waiting over an hour and calling multiple times, our little girl found herself sleeping between us. They tried to majorly overcharge my son for a product. When I called them out on it, they never apologized. They just gave it to him for the right price. Who does that to a kid?!?? I’m so glad he knew to come back to the room and ask me when things seemed fishy. I should have never sent him to these thieves alone. Cleanliness was questionable. I got several towels and washcloths clearly not washed. So gross, especially for $400 a night. Anything you asked front desk for was a several hour wait. We got in bed a 1in the morning one night, because we’d waited over 3 hours for bath towels. Insanity.

CHASE at the front desk got us checked in and told us about all of the amenities the resort offered. Genuine friendly smile and very nice to visit with! Hotel overall was awesome but, got in late so decided to eat in the hotel dining room. Service was good but the food was a huge disappointment and very overpriced. Bar area was nice and drinks were average but, the bar was very understaffed causing long wait times to be served. Several guests just left due to not being waited on.

We left another resort mid weekend because it was so horrible! Booked a quick night at the Château, and was so pleased! Chase at the front desk did everything he could to make us happy. We will never stay anywhere else when we go to Branson.

What an IDEAL, BEAUTIFUL location just south of Branson, Missouri, but not too far that you can't shop when necessary. It is an older, but exceptionally cared for property. We were at this location during the July 4th holiday and it NEVER felt too crowded. Suggestion: ALWAYS make your reservations EARLIER than you think you would need to for major holidays.

This was our first time to stay at the property but we will definitely be returning! It was stunning to say the least when you walk inside the chateau and see waterfalls and trees and vegetation and then to encounter the pool and pickle ball courts outside was icing on the cake. The food service areas looked fabulous even though we chose to eat off-site most of the time we were there. It is close to everything, but the area is safe and quiet and parking was easy!

The lake was beautiful! The restaurant by the pool wasn’t open (in mid-July), which was strange. The food in all other areas was very good. The decor inside the hotel seems dated, but everything was clean and the room was spacious. The Sunday morning champagne brunch was my favorite! It was delicious with a great variety of food. Overall, we liked this place!

Plus the price was crazy expensive I don’t know their cleaning schedule but early morning the carpets were dirty and the bathroom close to the library was dirty with trash can full and toilet dirty. The caper and flooring needed cleaned. The dining room for dinner was nice but the carpet under our table was dirty with some food I noticed as I sat down. It was also way too warm in the dining room. I was hot and muggy. Rooms were clean. Staff was great. Decor needs updated. It’s the same as it was when built I have been there many times. The hot tub was not well maintained/clean. Small children in the bar even late at night. The deli was never opened so food prices were crazy high. $21 for a martini. Yikes! Slow service in the bar. I would probably stay again but not pay for a balcony room or eat on site. The Christmas gingerbread houses and decorations were nice!

The no cash was not a good experience especially if someone doesn't have a high limit on a card.also the parking for guests should be free,the room prices can cover parking.
The no cash was not a good experience especially if someone doesn't have a high limit on a card.also the parking for guests should be free,the room prices can cover parking.

The hotel is pretty and well maintained. The price seemed fair. Since it was a slow week (only about 10 couples were there!) the staff was minimal which led to slow service in the coffee shop and the restaurant.

The hotel didn’t appear to be very full and we booked through a 3rd party…it was very disappointing to see the roof with the air-conditioning on it out our window. I hope that all the window views don’t have that! Other than that, everything was great.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. The rooms, the views, the amenities. It was wonderful. I wish I'd allotted more than 2 nights for our stay.
