great location, staff was phenominal!!!!, clean and for the most part functional. The alarm clock was badly broken. The hot tub was unoperational but was so tiny, it was just adorable!

Room was mediocre clean but the lamp shades, and chairs had stains. Crack in the wall, Fire detector hanging off the wall by the wires. Was very less than pleased. The back door into the hotel would not shut, security issue! Hotel would not refund. Hotels.com attempted to call and request refund however the manager of the hotel would not. Hotels.com did provide key cash to my account for the bad experience.

This place should not be operating. We get there and go to room. Tv not working!!!!! Could not hook up to wi fi!!!!! Toilet needed plumber!!!!!!! Ice machine not working!one lamp not working. Only one wash cloth for two people. Desk clerk came to room and fixedtv, Wi-Fi and brought a plunger. Checking out this morning I asked for receipt ; desk clerk this morning said they can not issue it that you Expedia will send email.

Chose it because it was pet friendly. Grassy area close to door, although had lots of dog poop. Breakfast was minimal, but coffee was good. Recliner in room was broken. AC worked great.

The rear entrance man door IS NOT SECURE!!! ANYONE COULD WALK IN AT ANY TIME DAY OR NIGHT. THE REAR MAN DOOR IS SUPPOSED TO BE ONLY ACCESSIBLE WITH A ROOM ENTRY CARD, IT WAS NOT FOR OUR 2 NIGHTS, 3 DAY STAY!!! THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED ASAP.

Scammed by the unscrupulous owner that wanted a fee so large for pets that it was more than the hotel reservation, OUTRAGEOUS! Over twice the average pet fee than EVERY other Super 8 asked for. I felt I was taken advantage of since I booked through a third party, so I either lost my booking fee or had to pay double by paying his outrageous pet fee. Buyer beware, call first.

The people were very nice and friendly, no complaints at all there. There was some trash in the corner by the door. There was a patch in the carpet that was not applied very well and didn't match the carpet at all. Bed was average for a bargain rate room but not the best I ever slept on.

The hotel was not kept up. Carpet was nasty, bed was not very comfortable. Cracks and chips in walls. Small fridge, and microwave, were on the floor. The breakfast was very limited, stuff not working.

Simple roadside motel, no frills. Check in was quick and easy. Room was clean and spacious. TV would turn in but we couldn’t figure out how to get any channels to appear. It was late so wasn’t concerned. Breakfast was bare minimum- yogurts, bread for toast and boiled eggs.

Our room was nice but some of the lights over the sink were out which need to be replaced and recliner in the room was broke down the man at the desk told us just to be careful no one considering we were hoping he would bring a different chair but he didn’t

Missed having a hot breakfast. Could have used two packs of regular coffee pods. AC needs some help as it was noisy. But checkin was fast and easy, we enjoyed our stay.

I came from out of state for my aunt’s funeral, not knowing if I had a place to stay I reserved a room. My cousin asked me to stay with her so I went to the hotel to see if I could cancel. It was past check in time but was told it was up to hotel.com to not charge me, hotel.com said it was up to location, even called them and the “manager” took the call in the other room, came back and said he was told i had to pay for a night, totally not true. Shame this Carthage location was so money hungry they charged me even though I didn’t stay, and they had plenty rooms available according to the girl at the front desk. Customer service…. Doesn’t exist

Easy off interstate and easy back on. Short walk to a McDonald's with good prices. Very nice night desk clerk. It's half-way between my current home in Rosharon, TX and my boyhood home in Eau Claire, WI. Buying a snowbird home in Colfax, WI and this will be my stayover every spring and fall. Thanks.

It's very convenient to the Interstate, but the Quality Inn down the street has a full eggs and sausage breakfast for just a couple bucks more with a last minute reservation. This Super 8, however, is a good alternative if the Quality Inn is $15 to $20 more at the time of reserving a room.

Chose it because it was pet friendly. Grassy area close to door, although had lots of dog poop. Breakfast was minimal, but coffee was good. Recliner in room was broken. AC worked great.

It's very convenient to the Interstate, but the Quality Inn down the street has a full eggs and sausage breakfast for just a couple bucks more with a last minute reservation. This Super 8, however, is a good alternative if the Quality Inn is $15 to $20 more at the time of reserving a room.

Missed having a hot breakfast. Could have used two packs of regular coffee pods. AC needs some help as it was noisy. But checkin was fast and easy, we enjoyed our stay.

My stay here was pretty good! The staff was extremely nice and helpful! The rooms were clean and very comfortable for the price! The coffee was really good!! It was in a good location as well!

The staff was very friendly. The room was clean but there were some things that need to be fixed. There was not really must breakfast. It was only some cereal.

Not all lights worked, poor selection for breakfast compared to other properties, room smelled musty. Air conditioner worked which was great.

No pool or hot tub here even when 3rd party hotel sites state otherwise and a sign in the room also states, otherwise HDMI ports on the back of the TV were loose. So couldn't really use them to connect to anything WI. Fi was extremely slow, aside from that staff was really helpful. The breakfast was decent, yeah.
