we booked this hotel because it said they had an outdoor pool. unfortunatly the pool was out of order and our grandkids were not happy about that. it was their birthday trip with us. so instead of staying 2 nights we only stayed 1 night.

When we walked into the room, it was set for 61 degrees. The floor seemed wet to walk on. The bathtub fraucet leaks, there was no bracket to put across the door. When walking down the hall, I notuced the one of the rooms looked liked it had condensation building on the top of the door frame. For breakfast - the coffee was cold, the waffle batter was runny, the grape juice was okay. The back door to go in and out does not lock so anyone can walk into the hotel.

There is a reason why there are no refunds at this hotel. Room 224 looks like the door had been kicked in at least once as the sheetrock behind the door had a horrible patch job. Most of the corners had splits, there was a spit bottle left behind in the top of the closet, water damage by the AC unit, the bathroom light switch had tape on it wth a note telling guest not to turn it off and there may be more but i dont remember. I requested a room change and was moved to room 222 and it was better but not by much. 222 had water damage on the ceiling that was somewhat painted over. The paint on the bathroom wall was bubbled out from water in the walls. The bathtub wasnt cleaned, the floor hadn't been swept. The mattress cover hand giant dark brown stains around the edge. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds i have ever slept in.The pictures online are extremely inaccurate. I tried to add pictures but the website wont me.

This hotel is old and outdated. When I checked in, I was given a room that the door locks wouldn’t work on. I was given a second room that was questionable in cleanliness, but the live mice and mouse caught in the mouse trap was unacceptable. I was given a third room which was also not clean, very dirty. At that point, I requested a refund to go to a different hotel, after I was given a refund, but after I left the hotel, charged my credit card for a fee for an unknown reason. I do not recommend you stay at this hotel.

This may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Faucet in bathroom leaked constantly. Fridge in room was extremely loud, had to unplug it to get some sleep. The inside trays were all rusted out and the seal around the door was completely black with mold! Beds were not queen sized, maybe super single, but very small. Both beds were very creaky on the metal frames. None of the outlet covers were secure. Outside parking lot/area was very dark. Lights were either burned out or didn't work. Would never stay here again nor would recommend anyone to stay here. Best thing that could happen to this place is that it would get torn down.

The bldg smelled like moth balls. It was run down. In our room the heat worked the 2 day. The tub was cracked. There was dirt in the bathroom. The hair dryer did not work. The curtains were filthy. The tv stopped working on day two. House keeping kept knocking on the door at 9am to let us know they were there to clean because they did no know we were there for two days. They wanted us to leave. The refrigerator was not plugged in to save. It did work once plugged in. My husband said to stop using Hotels.com.

Unclean sticky dirty floors dirty tub dirty toilet. bodily fluids on loveseat, pee stains on 2nd (middle) white comforter/linen cover, dirty iron board, dirty mirror door on the inside had dirty stains/bodily fluids caked on, huge gap bottom door, dirty lampshades with stains/bodily fluids, curtains wouldn’t close shut for privacy, but great friendly service checking in and checking out.

The first room were given had not been made. The second room had feces on the toilet seat. While the front desk person was helpful, the owner arriving the next morning did not care one bit. Only excuses. Don’t stop at this place. There are several other hotels nearby.

The room was terrible. We had to take the back off the toilet to flush it. There was a piece of iron rod sticking from under the bed. I didn't see it and ran into it and hurt my ankel. The tub was old and dengy. My blanket was torn, and the toilet had a nasty ring around it. When I went to bed something bit my leg.

Upon getting into our room, the batheroom faucet was still running from whomever turned it on. When I turned on the faucet in the shower, brown gunk came out of the faucet. The bed needs a new mattress. Not very comfortable.

The hotel overall was a good stay. The beds are twin size vs. queen. So it sleeps 2 mostly especially if adults. Clean room and friendly staff.

The hotel is decrepit and old. The cabinets in the kitchen and the area around the reception are so old they were falling apart. I had already booked and paid for my room so I thought I would go on in. The walls in the room had several holes in them that I had to fill with paper. The room was clean but the hotel is in bad need of remodeling. My biggest complaint is about the receptionist that night. After checking me in, she came up to me while I was getting luggage out of my car asking for money for gas. She said that whatever I’d give her, she’d make sure my car was watched over for the night. I felt compelled to give her money and then I removed everything from my rental car into the room. I know I should of just left but I just didn’t want to argue with her to cancel my prepaid reservations. I’ll never stay there again!!

Both beds were very creaky on the metal frames. None of the outlet covers were secure. Outside parking lot/area was very dark. Lights were either burned out or didn't work. Would never stay here again nor would recommend anyone to stay here. Best thing that could happen to this place is that it would get torn down.

Well first I like carpeting not vinyl floors. But the worst part of the stay was the bed. You could see the mattress cover a bit and it was gross. The bed itself was creaky on both sides and sunk in the middle. Our bed for some reason felt slightly damp. It would make your legs sweat so bad I put a towel down under me. Bad night's sleep! Then in the morning the shower pressure was so poor it barely was useable and strangely it was too hot! I don't normally complain about hotel stays but I feel I should warn people. I will never stay there again.

Friendly and helpful staff. the room was very nice except that it looked like someone had laid on the bed, used the toilet and left a 1/2 empty sprite bottle in the room. The staff was great and came up and changed the sheets and pillowcases right away.

The place needs attention and updating! Room could be cleaner, breakfast was ok. The receptionist at check in said her house burned down and the owner okayed her asking for donations. We don’t mind helping those in need but the owner should put out a donation jar with explanation as is sometimes seen in places of business.

Something happened in the night where a noxious gas was released into the building. The sheriff and fire department had to temporarily evacuate the building. The owner was on the phone with the front desk clerk who was trying to do her job, but the owner acted skeptical that anything was wrong. He seemed like he didn't care about the people staying at his motel.

The first room were given had not been made. The second room had feces on the toilet seat. While the front desk person was helpful, the owner arriving the next morning did not care one bit. Only excuses. Don’t stop at this place. There are several other hotels nearby.

The hotel is decrepit and old. The cabinets in the kitchen and the area around the reception are so old they were falling apart. I had already booked and paid for my room so I thought I would go on in. The walls in the room had several holes in them that I had to fill with paper. The room was clean but the hotel is in bad need of remodeling. My biggest complaint is about the receptionist that night. After checking me in, she came up to me while I was getting luggage out of my car asking for money for gas. She said that whatever I’d give her, she’d make sure my car was watched over for the night. I felt compelled to give her money and then I removed everything from my rental car into the room. I know I should of just left but I just didn’t want to argue with her to cancel my prepaid reservations. I’ll never stay there again!!

The desk clerk Stephanie was pleasant and helpful. Good sense of humor. Room was clean and comfortable. Water was hot. Great breakfast. Don't expect the Ritz Carlton but for Hayti it was really nice.

Right next to a truck stop. Staff( desk clerk) was very nice. Room was nasty. Floors stuck to your feet. Carpet area was dirty. Had to Lysol everything thing before I touched it. Was a small hotel, only stayed due to exhaustion of driving all day. Definitely stay somewhere where else!! This place needs to be condemned!!

We booked a king room for $98 including tax. But when we got there we got a room with 2 double beds and they were going to charge us $129. I told them we had booked it for total of $98, so she charge us $98 plus tax, so I then had to leave a lengthy note to get it straightened out. They didn't have enough help and therefore breakfast had run out with people waiting. When we got there, it took forever for the gal to get us checked in.

When we walked into the room, it was set for 61 degrees. The floor seemed wet to walk on. The bathtub fraucet leaks, there was no bracket to put across the door. When walking down the hall, I notuced the one of the rooms looked liked it had condensation building on the top of the door frame. For breakfast - the coffee was cold, the waffle batter was runny, the grape juice was okay. The back door to go in and out does not lock so anyone can walk into the hotel.

This hotel needs major remolding or torn down. The only good thing about it is the front desk lady named Angel. The room lock was broke, closet door stayed open. the bathroom had screws hanging out of the wall, something was in pieces standing up in the corner, the couch had brown stains, the chair was duct taped and torn. the tv was not working but Angel fixed it. The bed was so noisey, and the mattress was horrible. The breakfast was simple, and not refilled. When it was gone, you were out of luck.

First thing that hits you is the moth ball smell in the lobby and hallways. Then the room smelled like BO. The room was clean and bed was comfortable but I had to have a shirt over my nose until we could spray some body spray. Every time we went into the hallway had to put shirt over my nose again because of the moth ball smell. Staff not professionally dressed. Breakfast was OK.

The check-in person was not friendly. There were bugs in the shower. The curtain was broken and didn’t close. The floors were sticky. There were no bed pillows. They were tiny square and hard. The toilet paper roll was empty with only a partial roll sitting on the counter with the towels. Oils D definitely NOT stay here again!!

Was not happy at all. Dead bolt on door didn’t work. It was 90 degrees when we got there and the pool wasn’t open. It wasn’t even ready to be opened for the season. There was an electrical outlet without a cover

There were small ants in the bedroom area, on the sink counter in the bathroom. I only brought one bag into the room, and it had an ant in it when I woke up this morning. When I got in the car, I felt something crawling on my arm, and it was an eraser top size black bug. I smacked it off my arm, and have no idea where it came from. Now I'm worried about bed bugs. Took a hot shower as soon as my 7 hour trip home was complete. None of my luggage with clothes, etc came into the bedroom with me. I will never stay there again, and is Hotels,com willing to do any kind of reimbursement?

The property needs some updates. We had to shut the air unit off during the night, it made a loud noise. You get what you pay for. Not sure we will be back.
