The sink in the bathroom needs replacing. It was in a very poor condition. There is a small kitchenette but no utensils. This should be stated clearly before one books.

Staff is always helpful as usual. I wish there were more laundry room accommodations such as working washers but I completely understand guest and mishandling of the machines. Overall I have enjoyed my stay.

Absolutely no amenities. Needed new paint on the walls. Bathroom toilet seat broken. Updates needed. The floor was sticky.

Fast easy check in, staff knowledgeable and helpful, room were surprisingly clean, didn’t like the loitering of sketchy tenants, I’m sure there were a few attempts at solicitations towards me, and also love how there was at least one or more visible marked police cars parked outside the lobby where Neil 2am shift change and I checked in around 7pm..

Only 1 washer is working in entire facility with over 100 guest at any time of the day. Too many people at times stand around front desk at critical times of the day which are check in/extending stay and check out which is quite uncomfortable. I know some guest don't mean any harm but when a guest turns around and ask someone checking in "so you're from Mississippi because that's what your license says" or "hey is that a Chase Bank card" is just a bit too much. Other than that life is what you make it at Hometowne Studios.

Main issues I had was the dresser to drawer was broken. Room started it had a kitchen yet the facility didn't have any cooking utensils on site for use after bringing food to cook that night and wasn't able to

No amenities

I didn't like they don't have an ice machine, what hotel don't have an ice machine. Also there are signs in the elevation that says free coffee in the lobby & that's was a lie. Sinks had burn marks on the bathroom & kitchen sink yet you say there's no smoking.

Great staff, good location, easy to find, comfortable bed, nice kitchen area, clean bathroom. The only downsides would be having to walk down hallways and through lobby to go out for a smoke or to get to the car, non opening windows in the room, there's no cups in bathroom or room whatsoever. All in all a good place to stay with reasonable prices.

Smelled terrible, like marijuana and cigarettes, no light bulbs in the lamps, cockroach on the wall! Beds were very uncomfortable. Do not recommend!!!

The floors are gross. I had to go buy a mop and clean the room.

I will never stay here again. Upon checking in when I got to my room there were holes in the curtain, burn marks in the comforter, crumbs in the drawers, the microwave, fridge, and freezer were all dirty, and the bathroom was disgusting and had no soap. And although they say they have a no smoking policy you couldn’t tell because of how the hall smelt. I had to find a new hotel the same day that I checked in because I refused to stay there. When I called to ask about their cancellation policy the worker in the phone was rude and didn’t let me ask all of my questions before she hung up the phone. I would not recommend staying here.

This hotel was very unclean. Food & trash on all floors. Blood & hair on walls & bathroom door. Air conditioner leaked all night to were I stepped into it every time I got up. I complained several times about it & also a fight few rooms down. People yelling & screaming in hall & slamming doors. Kids running up & down halls. Refrigerator was so nasty like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks

There was bed bugs

There were a lot of bugs in my room, especially near the bedside and the bathroom. The staff also did not read my reservation clearly and tried to get me to check out a day early, once at the front desk and after I showed them my receipt they understood they were wrong. The general area smelled like smoke. I would not choose to stay here again.

We check in and went to our room, bed was dirty had blood and yellow stains everything was dirty, white spots on the walls we checked out literally 5 mins after we got in. Not recommended at all I was very excited my first time in St Louis but this is nothing like the pictures.

It really wasn’t very clean or kept up or up-to-date. It was really rather filthy.

Horrible hotel and absolutely filthy. There was a roach crawling across the bathroom floor and ants crawling on the top of the refrigerator. The light fixture above the bed had old socks and a tank top stuffed into it. We didn’t even stay the night. We booked somewhere else immediately. Management doesn’t seem to be around to discuss refunding me…..not surprised at all. Don’t believe the pictures. For you own good, book somewhere else

Roaches n the room the switched to another one and it had even more in it

I had originally rented a vrbo, but it got canceled when the host didnt communicate then claims he didnt have a vrbo and then that he canceled his vrbo a long time ago. They will not let you book a vrbo the same day and was told that I needed to either use expedia or hotels.com to rebook. I already had an account with hotels.com So I used it them. Booking was quick and easy. I just search for places around my location and then I sort of by price. I don't need a lot of amenities.Just a place to stay. I booked the hotel and I was still on my way there.. I arrived at the hotel maybe ten minutes after I booked. There was a lady at the front desk that looked as if she might be training because someone was helping her with the process. I got my room key and was in my room, and maybe five minutes is all it took to check in. The hotel seemed to be some type of an extended stay place. It had a huge refrigerator as far as hotel rooms go. Massive microwave too. It even had a 2 burner stove and a sink. Several cabinets. The bed appeared to be basic but was actually very comfortable.

The door was falling off the hinges, you have to lift the door up to close and open it.. The comforter/ blanket had burn holes all throughout

The facility was old but very clean and well kept. I was on the first floor, so there was a car parked right in front of me and I could not open the curtains.

That place had the feel of an apartment instead of a hotel

Rooms were very beat up and smelled like marjuana and cigarettes. I use a CPAP and had to clean it out several times just to get the cigarette smell out of it.

The facility is in disrepair.

Property is nothing like the pictures listed. Old an beat up. no kitchen items so the kitchen is useless.

The room was clean enough. It just just madr me feel like i was living in a tidy apartment in the ghetto though. Although the room was spacious and i did like the kitchenette.

My expectations was to expect a 2 star staff, but KB was efficient, professional, answered all my questions, and was polite to a prior individual and myself. Yolanda was exceptional. She resolved an issue with my booking for an extended time, and thanked me for staying at HT Studios RR STL Airport.

The staff here were amazing! Always had a smile and a kind word. The kitchen area of our room needed a better cleaning. We noticed the side of the fridge hadn’t been cleaned so pulled it out to wipe it down. It obviously had never been done before. That said, everything else was neat and tidy. Bring your own toiletries as they only supply toilet paper. (I originally missed this) Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

They said there is no room for me. I have to go to another place -

We booked here and arrived at three in the morning. The first room they gave us a key to was already occupied, causing an embarrasimg and potentially dangerous situation for us and these other guests. Then, after being forced to wait in the lobby for over a half hour we were told that the hotel had no more rooms for the night, despite our reservation. Luckily a refund was issued quickly. Very unprofessional and inconvenient.

Yolunda made check-in super easy, and takes the time to check in with everyone she sees to ask about their day on top of making sure everything runs smoothly. She's super friendly and makes the stay much nicer.

Don’t stay… we booked at least 5 days in advance. Get there to check in and we are told they over booked. No room for us. Probably a blessing for us as when we pulled in there was 3 cop cars and 1cop standing inside. That was probably our sign. Not to mention when looking at the windows it looked like people make that place there home as there was plants and other items hanging in window. There was no call to tell us that we wouldn’t have a room. Very unbusiness like. We drove 6 hours to have to find somewhere else

I didn't like that there were people hanging out around the property. The building was dirty. The room had dead roaches on the floor and there were as no linen on the bed. I was not able to stay there. The man on duty told me to call the manager on 10/14 because she said as the only one that can give me a refund. I called and she was not there. I was told that she would call me back on that day. She still hasn't responded to my phone call.

I like the professionalism of the front desk staff. It was clean. It was quiet for the most part.I love the central location near the highway..

This hotel was extremely convenient from the St. Louis airport. I was booked to stay for multiple weeks and Janelle the manager was very helpful. Debra , Vicki , and Yolanda at the front desk helped with recommendations for restaurants and stores nearby.

First, let me start by saying that the front desk staff were very nice and pleasant. Second, we are not hotel snobs and are ok with an older hotel as long as it is clean. We do, however, draw the line when we do not feel safe in an environment. When we arrived we were concerned with the police car at the front door and several individuals loitering around outside. We asked about the officer and they said it was sobriety checks. Got to our room and the walk was scary. This looked more like a subsidized housing unit than hotel. It appeared to be like a institution. Walking by doors that had been kicked in, filthy hallways and padlocked housekeeping facilities, we made it to our room. Opened the door and were just sick to our stomach—as we entered the fridge was filthy and extremely old, the bathtub was uninhabitable, bug or rodent debris was on the floor and the bed was barely a full sized bed. There was a dresser that had all the drawers opened as if someone left in a hurry. My husband and I were afraid to go out to dinner and leave our luggage as we didn’t feel safe. We realized even if we lost the $ we could not stay there. We told the front desk woman that while we appreciated her pleasant attitude, we couldn’t stay where we feel unsafe. We were supposed to keep our car there while we traveled- there was no way! When we left the police officer was still hanging out in the parking lot and it was clear he was observing those many loiterers in the parking lot.

The area is not to quiet. The front desk employees are not the more friendly and helpful at all. The hotel is not in very good conditions. The room are very dirty, noise is a big problem there. Is petty unsafe notcto place to stay.

The area felt isolated and unsafe. Check-in staff was not courteous.

Nothing at all I want my money back drugs people with guns everywhere just unsafe

Worst hotel or whatever that was in my life. Hair in the drains (visibly seen) cigarette burns all over the tub and sink area. Left over trash in the cabinets. NO COFFEE anywhere on premise not in the room not downstairs. Legit the worst smelling worst hotel I have ever ever stayed at.
