Exterior recently renovated. Looks nice. Our room looked like it was recently painted. But shower curtain and shower head were extremely dirty. Stains on carpet in room. Room had a strange odor. Looks like they need to continue with renovations. No breakfast. No one at front desk at check out. New hotel almost completed next door. Might put this one out of business.

No breakfast due to “shortage of workers”, no drinking glasses in room, clean but too strong smell in hallway, no elevator, stairwell was filthy, window screens with holes on front side of hotel. I didn’t feel safe because of the condition of the hotel. Perhaps you should remove this from your list of available hotels.

Property was under renovation construction. No pool, no breakfast. Scaffolding blocking doors and hammering beginning outside the window at 8 on the nose. Wish any of the above had been disclosed before arrival.

The furniture was very unique other than that the front desk Sucked...Never really smiled or offered assistance when I requested a first floor room. This hotel had NO ELEVATOR and I HAD TO CLIMB 2 FLIGHTS OF STAIR WITH TWO BAD KNEES TO GET TO .Y ROOM... NOT ONLY DID THE TOILET NOT FLUSH BUT i had to fill the ta k up in order for the toilet to flush!!!

I will never stay here again. The floors were sticky, there was still a dirty towel hanging in the bathroom, the shower curtain looked filthy, the door wouldn’t latch unless you pushed it really hard and the inside safety flip lock was broken (only attached to the wall on the top of it). They did not have the continental breakfast advertised (only coffee) and the pool in their listing had not even been opened or cleaned for the summer (it’s the end of July).

Disappointed. Not as described. No continental breakfast. No 24 hour front desk. Cleaning practices not as described. Comforters had burn holes and door safety latch was broken and unusable. Side door opened without key.

The floors were dirty in the bathroom and bathroom, no continental breakfast ( we were told they didn’t have enough staff to serve breakfast) and the lock on the door to our room didn’t lock. There was no need for a key to get I the building and didn’t need a key to get into the room 😏

Walked into the hotel, signs posted that pool was not working and no breakfast because of lack of employees. After speaking to staff i noticed ice maker was broken and not working. Looked into room and it was filthy and pieces of carpet were missing. Toilet wasnt flushed. Ugh!

I've been staying at this hotel for the last several years ... it's at a convenient location when I'm in town visiting my family. Nothing has been done to this property since my first visit, so obviously it's in severe need of a remodel, a deep clean, new carpet, new furniture, paint, etc. The carpet was stained in my room, the towels were yellowed from too much bleach and too many washings, the bedspread was also stained, the walls were filthy, the bathroom didn't feel clean (I cleaned it before I used it!), the refrigerator made a terrible clicking noise, etc. The have a pool, but it was never opened this year and its disgusting. I'm sorry to say, unless there just any other option (which there's a nice option now), I won't be back. The price seemed good at the time, but now I definitely feel that I overpayed by a LOT.

One of the worst places I’ve ever stayed at. Towels were stained. Sheets were so thin you could see the mattress. Dead bugs between the mirror and the frame. The breakfast options were non existent. No decaff coffee. Overall just a terrible place.

The rooms were dirty, tub was gross, and there were bugs on the counter and in the bathroom. We asked for extra blankets for both beds, but only 1 extra was available. Beds were also very hard/not comfortable at all. We ended up not staying the second night because of a family emergency, but they said they could not refund the 2nd night because we had booked thru Expedia. Could you please let me know if a refund for the 2nd night is possible? Also, one other thing, all of the emails from Expedia to me have been addressed to Stacy, and all the text messages were addressed to Shitley (not kidding). My name is Shirley Parker.

The first room smelled like mildew so I was able to get a different room that smelled normal. There was grime in the corner of the bathroom and the tub was dirty. Staff were very nice.

The property was OK , rooms seem to be clean. The breakfast area was not very clean. The sink was filthy the bathroom in the lobby. I don’t think they cleaned it for several days. Someone left empty bottles of water and there was several of them showing that they haven’t been in there to clean.

The room was smelly, dirty. The bedding was stained. The towels were old. One small bar of soap. The bar lock was broken. The back door was broken…you did not have to use your card to come into the building. The screen to our room had been cut. The carpet in the room had chunks out of it.

The outside of the hotel was very nice but the inside was a different story. The hallway was sprayed with an overpowering smell that choked me up. Our room was very, very musty smelling and seemed to get worse. The bed spread was nasty looking, whether it was dirty or stained I'm not sure.. We took them off immediately. The breakfast area was another gross area. The coffee counter was stained, unpainted, and filthy looking. The milk and juice was left out on the counter and was getting warm when we went for breakfast. When the employee cleaned up and put away the breakfast area, he used a napkin to clean the waffle and cereal area. He then took the milk and the leftover pancake mix from the machine and put it in the frig to reuse..after both had been left out for at least 3 hours.. As we were checking out, an older, handicapped man was telling the staff about their toilet, how it was broke, and how smelly their room was.. We will not be returning!

Fenil was amazing and friendly and very courteous and accomodating. I was unaware there is no elevator & we were on the second floor. He immediately offered to move us to the ground floor. The accomodations were very clean with one spot on the tissue holder. On the bed coverlet there were some stains. I know they recently took over ownership and are working to improve the entire hotel; it shows! Every employee I encountered was very courteous. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. Same with the sink area. The amenities, soaps, etc. were lovely. In room was a just a little larger than mini fridge and a small microwave, perfectly sized. There was a very nice table with 2 chairs in the room, perfect for our needs. Only one side of the bed had outlets. It appears the bed used to be positioned closer to the outside wall where there would have been outlets on both sides of the bed. The positioning of the bed now is actually better and makes the room appear even larger, which is saying something as the room is large! For view I put "mountain view" because there was not an option for "country view". There are no actual mountains. The hotel is just far enough away from the roundabout and freeway to be free of road noise. There was a safe in the room, and switches for both the light and fan inside the bathroom. I mention this bc I was in a much larger chain hotel 3 days prior that had neither of those. Will stay next time we travel there.

Nice clean family-run hotel with updated rooms - new bathroom, fridge, microwave, and TV. The breakfast area is nice and the new owners have recently improved the outdoors with nice landscaping. A good bargain if you plan to visit nearby Hermann, Missouri wine region!

There was a strong smell of some type if smoke that you could smell as soon as you walked into the building. That smell made its way into our room even though there us a sign in our room to thank us for not smoking. If the staff feel that they must smoke whatever it was then do it outside; customers do not want to have to deal with that. The room seemed clean but the bathroom facilities needed to updated. Also the room had limited outlets. We have stayed here before but this time you could tell there has been a decline.

There was no security lock on the door, we couldn’t use the fridge because it had a large chunk of ice in it and the door would not shut. There were no tissues in the tissue box. The bed was too high but once I got up there it was great. The breakfast was a big disappointment, it had cereal, bread and 1 waffle maker, juice and coffee. Paying $100 a night was way overpriced.
There was no security lock on the door, we couldn’t use the fridge because it had a large chunk of ice in it and the door would not shut. There were no tissues in the tissue box. Remodeling. Needs more attention from housekeeping and maintenance. Rm 107 needed dusted. Dust on lamp shade, bathroon not swept. Sink needed stopper, bathtub needed new shower head. Supposed to be non smoking and the first 6 rooms you have to pass are smoking. Need different entrance for non smokers so they dont have to breath the smoke in the hall. need listing for tv. The one on the tv you could not see the.channel numbers on. Bed very comfortable, quiet hotel has non slip bathtub (wonderful).

Fenil was amazing and friendly and very courteous and accomodating. I was unaware there is no elevator & we were on the second floor. He immediately offered to move us to the ground floor. The accomodations were very clean with one spot on the tissue holder. On the bed coverlet there were some stains. I know they recently took over ownership and are working to improve the entire hotel; it shows! Every employee I encountered was very courteous. The bathroom was spotlessly clean. Same with the sink area. The amenities, soaps, etc. were lovely. In room was a just a little larger than mini fridge and a small microwave, perfectly sized. There was a very nice table with 2 chairs in the room, perfect for our needs. Only one side of the bed had outlets. It appears the bed used to be positioned closer to the outside wall where there would have been outlets on both sides of the bed. The positioning of the bed now is actually better and makes the room appear even larger, which is saying something as the room is large! For view I put "mountain view" because there was not an option for "country view". There are no actual mountains. The hotel is just far enough away from the roundabout and freeway to be free of road noise. There was a safe in the room, and switches for both the light and fan inside the bathroom. I mention this bc I was in a much larger chain hotel 3 days prior that had neither of those. Will stay next time we travel there.

Nice clean family-run hotel with updated rooms - new bathroom, fridge, microwave, and TV. The breakfast area is nice and the new owners have recently improved the outdoors with nice landscaping. A good bargain if you plan to visit nearby Hermann, Missouri wine region!

Someone else commented a "no frills" motel stay. The room was very comfortable, and the rustic furniture was very cool. The Hotels.com pictures showed vending machines which we never found. The lobby coffee was stale in the morning when we left at about 7:30. The McDonald\'s was just the next driveway thank goodness for some coffee prior to getting on the road.

The rooms were simple but clean. The breakfast was not available due to staffing. Actually the staffing is I believe a family that lives on site and you never see anyone up front at all. Construction made it a little difficult to get to and there is no food except McDonalds within walking distance.

We just stayed one night, but we were happy with this accommodation. It was easy to get to. Parking was good. Room was clean and smelled good. Beds were comfortable. It was quiet. Continental breakfast was ok. Not much choice, but made waffles with waffle iron that were good. Definitely would recommend and stay again.

No breakfast due to “shortage of workers”, no drinking glasses in room, clean but too strong smell in hallway, no elevator, stairwell was filthy, window screens with holes on front side of hotel. I didn’t feel safe because of the condition of the hotel. Perhaps you should remove this from your list of available hotels.

We stayed three nights and nobody cleaned our room we had to go the the front desk and get trash bags and gather our trash. We also had to go to front desk and get clean towels. There was also no breakfast as advertised. They said they didn’t have enough help

The outside of the hotel was very nice but the inside was a different story. The hallway was sprayed with an overpowering smell that choked me up. Our room was very, very musty smelling and seemed to get worse. The bed spread was nasty looking, whether it was dirty or stained I'm not sure.. We took them off immediately. The breakfast area was another gross area. The coffee counter was stained, unpainted, and filthy looking. The milk and juice was left out on the counter and was getting warm when we went for breakfast. When the employee cleaned up and put away the breakfast area, he used a napkin to clean the waffle and cereal area. He then took the milk and the leftover pancake mix from the machine and put it in the frig to reuse..after both had been left out for at least 3 hours.. As we were checking out, an older, handicapped man was telling the staff about their toilet, how it was broke, and how smelly their room was.. We will not be returning!

While the staff was very friendly, that was about all we liked about our stay. Beds were very uncomfortable, no coffee makers in the room, breakfast was beyond basic and milk was left out on the counter during breakfast hours, no juice in the machine, and second morning there was no coffee. We paid almost double because of the time we traveled yet had very, very poor amenities.

The door was very hard to open. Not sure if the door was heavy or if the tension was set wrong. Other thing, I'm in my upper 80's. The room was very clean. Tub did not drain well. After shower there were 3 to 4 inches of water in tub. Carpet in hallway was not real clean. They had a lot of construction type guests. I'm sure that made keeping the carpets clean difficult. Breakfast was very average. The juice machine did not work. If you pushed the orange juice all you got was water. Apple juice not much better. Coffee was good. On Sunday morning had sweet rolls, but none on Monday. Waffle's were okay. My reservation was for 2 days. On second day, my entry card did not work.

Placed smelled of mold and tv didn't work in either room I booked. The guy behind the desk was nice. We didn't spend the night and was promised a refund. I'm still waiting on the refund.
