We checked in at midnight and ended up having to call the front desk phone a few times to wake up the front desk person in order to get our key (the provided doorbell didn’t do the job). We weren’t super happy with that, the parking lot was pretty rough, and the rooms were definitely a little shabby, but for the price it was alright for a one night stop on a long drive.

The staff was good. The swimming pool was closed and the parking lot needs to be resurfaced. The TV and remote didn’t sync so it was hard to change channels but the room was clean and the A/C worked so I would stay there again.

Place was old and furniture shabby, needed paint in our room, parking lot was full of pot holes, pool was closed. “Continental breakfast” was a bagel… bathroom was clean but very shabby, as was the whole room. Bare sockets hanging off the walls. The reception guy was cool, looked like the whole place needs a refurb

This hotel is run down. It looks like they tried to remodel a little but but didn't do a very good job. There were two doors to the room, one that leads to the exterior and one that leads into the hotel. The exterior door barley shut and was hard to open due to rotting warped door frame. Parking was awful. Felt kinda like a sketchy area as well. On the upside the AC works great and they accept dogs with an extra fee. I won't ever stay here again but if your feeling adventurous its worth a look.

The bathroom smelled strongly of urine but the whole room smelled musty. The floors were dirty. You had to unplug the fridge to plug in and use the microwave, fridge leaked water all over the floor. The included "breakfast" is a joke, cereal and some bread and a few bananas. The doors don\'t shut properly, huge gaps under the outside door.

When we arrived to the room we found a used condom between the tv stand and the wall. When we closed the door we realized we couldn't lock it and the eyehole had been removed from the door. My wife got barely any sleep concerned about door not locking and people right outside of our door. There was space between the door and door jam and you could see straight through. The bathtub paint was peeling off the floor of tub and the bathroom as a whole needed to be redone. There was tape where there should have been plumber's tape/caulking. The woman who checked us in came off rudely...racially motivated it would seem. I offered my assistance as a master plumber but she coldly told me they had people to handle those things and they weren't hiring. She also stated she was not allowed to make another pot of coffee in the common area as the products they had to order were too expensive now. There were people milling around until the wee hours and the walls are paper thin. The owner did give us a late check out at noon.

DIRTY..DIRTY...DIRTY...chair filthy...no bed spread...sheet had HUGE hole in it ..dirty coffee pot ..loose wall sockets...huge draft from door...carpet stained and nasty dirty.. refrigerator dirty...1 partial roll toilet paper .Parking lot looked liked a scrap/junk/ salvage yard. People working on their vehicle in lot...VERY JUNKY looking. Wanted my money back but they we wouldn't give it back. If I could have afforded it I would have left. Can't say enough bad things about the place. Didn't even think about eating breakfast..assumed it was just as dirty as rest of place. Should be inspected by health department or shut down.

Roxie was at the front desk and was nice at check in. The man at check out was not friendly. I had a pet, only a couple of options available because i had a pet. The non smoking room was heavily smoked in.. Very stale old smoke. I had to grab very thick dusty cords to plug in a lamp and clock. Shower had hair in it.

Room had a smelly musty odor which lingered with us way after we were gone, drapes were torn and tattered, windows were dirty and had dry paint on them and they had flies in the room. No place to hang clothes other than the shower rod. We were very disappointed.

The room stunk could not get rid of the smell commode was not grounded and carpet was dirty If I could have gotten a refund I would have left The lady checking us in was nice but that was all no coffee for breakfast, No fruit, no yogurt only cold cereal and bread Vacuuming in hall at 6:30 am and mowing the lawn as well doesn’t make for a nice rest

The staff was very kind and let us know the better restaurants in the area. They also let us back in the room after check out to find a lost item. The beds are pretty rough, and underneath the layers of sheets were some mystery stains. The surrounding area and parking lot had quite a bit of potholes, enough to bottom out our car hard to see at night.

We were pleasantly surprised with the size and cleanliness of the inside of the suite. The building is older, so the outside and parking lots looked rough. It was not inside Platte City within any conceniences yoy can walk to, but with a car everythinv is easily reachable. I would stay here again with my family.

This place was a nice, quick place to sleep. It had three beds which we loved so we stopped here. The beds were average on comfortable scale. The room was a lot cleaner than I expected. It was very clean and only one area at the bottom of the toilet that touches the floor was dirty. The inside of the toilet was very clean so was the sink and bathtub. The rest of the room looked really clean. It is an older motel but for being there one night, having three beds, clean room, and good nights sleep it was great. We arrived really late around midnight and it was easy to check in. I’m not sure of the other hotel guests as we didn’t see any guests besides their vehicles. A few options for breakfast like cereal, honey bun, and apples.

For the price, it was a decent stay. Dated, run down and all that but at no time did it feel unsafe. Breakfast isnt really a breakfast so wish hotels wouldn't advertise as such. Only complaint is the carpet in the room smelt like it was wet. But wasnt wet, I pretended not to think about what was underneath. The little old lady at the front desk was amazing and actually seemed like she didn't hate her life. Give her a raise.

This entire experience was awful. The front desk staff would barely speak to me when we checked in. Our room was in a separate building, which looked more like extended-stay rentals with a few grills sitting out in disrepair, old paint on the building and chipping in places, and crumbling concrete. We did not feel safe and my husband and I both got up multiple times to check that our car was still in one piece after triple checking that our room door was locked. My kids wouldn't even take their socks off or lay their dirty clothes on the floor because it just felt dirty. Their was old urine and hair around the toilet but the sheets appeared clean. We checked in very late and checked out before 9am. There was no one at the desk when we left and I even tried calling out to see if anyone would come out to accept my key. There was a slip of paper on the desk with room numbers, including ours, and a pen sitting beside it. I'm not sure if I was supposed to mark my number off when we left? The whole experience was just shady. Don't stay here. I've even waited more than a week to write this review so that I wouldn't be so upset about the whole thing. Spend a little more money and go somewhere else!

Our room was not clean,appeared to be cat liter in the bathroom,roachs in the room,wife asked for an extra towel,property managwr asked why,and how manywere in the room,made my feel likeshe was a thief or a vagrant,i was making coffee and he asked if i really neede as many sugar packets i was using,cereal was stale,parking lot was so bad you could have motorcross event there,jhad to get electronic keys 3 times because they kept not working, just a disgusting place,!!!if you stay here youll regret itbecause they

The man who checked me in came to the desk quickly and was friendly and nice. He requested that I check out the room first to make sure I liked it. I appreciated that and wish all motels did that.

When we pulled up to the room there was people with many cars working on them like a side mechanic maybe. Being loud banging on things and we didn't show up until past 8:00 p.m. This is right below our room! The lady had buckets full of wires. She was stripping! Tons of sketchy business going back and forth from the RVs to the motel. Many of these people all knew each other and seemed to be up all night! Banging starting their trucks over and over! I'm not picky but this place is not good! The parking lot needs redone! The door to our room looked like it's been pried in before chunks out of the door! I could go on and on. Do not stay here! We already paid on line so we stayed. We just needed a bed to sleep in!

We were pleasantly surprised with the size and cleanliness of the inside of the suite. The building is older, so the outside and parking lots looked rough. It was not inside Platte City within any conceniences yoy can walk to, but with a car everythinv is easily reachable. I would stay here again with my family.

This was located right off the interstate and easily to find. No elevator and our suite was on the second floor with outdoor stairs. Not an issue for us but could be for others. Initially the hostess told us our hotel room was smoking even though the description on hotels.com said non smoking so we went to look at it before paying to see. Glad that there wasnt smoke smell so they must have cleaned it well. Beds were comfortable and it was relatively quiet. Small bathroom but again not an issie for us.

The bathroom smelled strongly of urine but the whole room smelled musty. The floors were dirty. You had to unplug the fridge to plug in and use the microwave, fridge leaked water all over the floor. The included "breakfast" is a joke, cereal and some bread and a few bananas. The doors don\'t shut properly, huge gaps under the outside door.

My sister and I just needed a cheap easy place to stay while driving across country and the this had the best priced rooms with free breakfast. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable, and the outside was not the most well maintained but it was still a very safe, clean, easy spot to stop right off the interstate and after driving 10 hours I really could care less about the jank parking lot & only thought about the bed for maybe 5 minutes before I was zonked out.

This place was a nice, quick place to sleep. It had three beds which we loved so we stopped here. The beds were average on comfortable scale. The room was a lot cleaner than I expected. It was very clean and only one area at the bottom of the toilet that touches the floor was dirty. The inside of the toilet was very clean so was the sink and bathtub. The rest of the room looked really clean. It is an older motel but for being there one night, having three beds, clean room, and good nights sleep it was great. We arrived really late around midnight and it was easy to check in. I’m not sure of the other hotel guests as we didn’t see any guests besides their vehicles. A few options for breakfast like cereal, honey bun, and apples.

The room stunk could not get rid of the smell commode was not grounded and carpet was dirty If I could have gotten a refund I would have left The lady checking us in was nice but that was all no coffee for breakfast, No fruit, no yogurt only cold cereal and bread Vacuuming in hall at 6:30 am and mowing the lawn as well doesn’t make for a nice rest

For the price, it was a decent stay. Dated, run down and all that but at no time did it feel unsafe. Breakfast isnt really a breakfast so wish hotels wouldn't advertise as such. Only complaint is the carpet in the room smelt like it was wet. But wasnt wet, I pretended not to think about what was underneath. The little old lady at the front desk was amazing and actually seemed like she didn't hate her life. Give her a raise.

Just don't. The bar for Wyndham was low, but this place puts it in the ground. I booked a room for one night to use up some old points I had remaining from pre-retirement. Sketchy 2nd building is weekly rentals to the usual suspects. Had to call 911 in the middle of the night to breakup an argument going on in the parking lot outside my window. At least one of them appeared to be a meth tweaker. The room was pretty filthy. Of course the pool is closed for perpetual maintenance. I could continue, but you get my point. If there were no other hotel rooms available, I'd drive another 100 miles to find one. For the positive; the AC worked well and it was very much needed.
