The property appears to be in the process of being rehabilitated. Although there is a pool and hot tub that have water in them, the water in the hot tub is cold; and the water in the pool is warmer. That did not change during my two day stay, despite the fact that the staff said that condition would be corrected. Disappointing, at best.

When i first checked in, they were aware that i had 2 service animals with me (the older one is training the younger one) she asked me 1 more question than was allowed but i let it slide. Ive never stayed in a hotel where they asked any questions. Then she said she would put us in a room close to the doors so it would be easy to take them out. It was close to the door, but still felt like half a mile walk to the grass. It smelled like weed in the hallway everyday. Breakfast was a joke. Old fruit, bread and bagels (plain) they did have a waffle maker, but the waffles were flat as a pancake. You would have to flush the toilet at least 10 times before it would finally flush. Dont bother with the hot tub. Its make 10° F warmer than the pool. We asked her to fix it once, she said she would, but it didnt change. The lady was polite and helpful, but i would keep looking. It used to be a very nice hotel, but its going downhill. Dont let the pictures fool you. The rooms look nothing like them, your tv is tiny. And everything is unplugged, everything, so if you put something in the fridge, make sure you plug it in. I prob could have overlooked a lot of it, if the hot tub worked, but that was a lot of the reason i chose this place.

I want a refund. In the door we encounter a spider in the sink. We flush it and the toilet doesn’t flush. No TV working as internet was down. We went to complain but couldn’t check out as the internet was down. They were mad at us for wanting to leave but we stayed as we already had tickets to the Fair. We were on the second floor with no elevator. The ice machine across the hall did not work. The rates were inflated due to the Fair in town.

The pictures online make it look bright and cheery. This place is badly in need of repairs. Ceiling by the pool is leaking water and exposed insulation. We didn’t use the pool for that reason. The hallways smell like cigarettes. The rooms smell musty. The tv was missing a power cord and we asked for one several times even left and came back and no cord. Overheard other guests saying they had terrible cleaning too and wanted refunds. The whole facility doesn’t look like it has been vacuumed in months. For the price I would have expected a much better quality. For this type of room I would expect to pay like 50 bucks a night. It was too late to try and find another place so we stayed. Took 2 hours to get the cord. The lady at the desk was fielding a lot of complaints and actually made time to get it her self

The front desk line took 30 minutes. Then later on- no one was even at the desk to buy a water. The bathroom light is like a strobe light and goes out when in the shower. The tv is glitchy so there isn’t even a show we can watch. Pool is INCREDIBLY SMALL. Sauna wasn’t working. There is no fitness room and I’m not sure how breakfast is but we won’t stick around to see.

The TV didn’t connect to any provider or service. The AC was so loud I couldn’t sleep, plus I was next to the loudest ice machine ever. The sheets smelled, the tub was dirty and the weird bottle opener attached to the sink was covered in rust. The absolute WORST POOL I’ve ever seen. There are slot machines in the lobby.

Booked this for the state fair to see a concert for a one night stay, the photos online definitely are not accurate. For the price definitely a rip off. This place is filthy and like a halfway house for long-term living drug addicts and low income, it smells terrible. The room conditions are disgusting unknown stains on the walls, old toothpaste spit in the sink, blood stains on the sheets, and definitely not clean. Contemplated driving hours back home instead of sleeping here or sleeping in our car. We slept on top of the sheets with blankets we had in the car. I came here alone with three kids, so I didn’t want to risk falling asleep driving back from the concert did not sleep well. None of us did because we were fearful of the bugs that may be crawling on us even though I did check for bedbugs. I talked to some mutual friends at the state fair, they said they fell for the pictures too not sure what room that is, but it wasn’t the one any of us stayed in and they had issues with cockroaches When they were there. Would never stay here again.

When we arrived at our room. The bed sheets were filthy as well as the pillow case's. The walls to the room were dirty there was bugs in the bathroom crawling on the floor. I asked to have bedding changed it got done the day before we left. Don't think I will be going back. Staff was nice that is the ones you saw.

This was one of the poorest hotel experiences I have ever had. The bathroom still had someone else's tennis shoe print on the floor, a bug crawled across the floor as well. The bed sheets had multiple stains, and even holes in the comforter. Despite the pool water itself being mostly clear, the room was horribly damp, rusty, and extremely dirty- everything from the walls to the floor had trash, dust, and dirt on them. In the evening, a group of men were TAILGATING in the parking lot outside of our window- loud music and drinking, and my kids couldn't fall asleep. Finally, at breakfast, our kids made pancakes and said they tasted sour- only to realize the batter had spoiled. Do not stay here.

The room was ok. The bathroom was absolutely horrible. The toilet was not clean, it did jot flush properly, the towels was rough, the bath tub was not clean, the shower curtain was torn, the door to the bathroom was too big and had wood pieces missing at the bottom and had rust stains on it, one of the beds gad a spring that was sticking up through the mattress, the TV did not work due to internet connection, the carpet in the hall ways was extremely dirty.

The A/C would cool, but didn't remove the humidity. The floors in the bathroom always felt wet. Floor in bedroom sticky. There was trash on the floor in the bathroom when we got there. Breakfast food OK. Our keys stopped working the second day we were there. Had to get reprogrammed.

The hotel room was ok considering the price, but the bathroom was disgusting! There was a used bar of soap in the shower with someone else’s body hair on it. There was someone else’s hair on the conditioner bottle. The air conditioner sounded like a rocket taking off. When we talked to the manager about it she said maybe we were just light sleepers. The curtain was broken so couldn’t be closed all the way which let tons of light in. The television didn’t work. The phone didn’t work. There was a dog across the hall that started barking at 6 am. When I went to the front desk, because the phone didn’t work, they said they don’t have control over people’s pets. We didn’t have high expectations due to the price but that was way worse than expected.

The shower is amazing!!! I had a hard work out before coming in and the shower has this powerful massaging mode or modes I should say. My rotator cuff was off and my ears weren't popping. Not anymore!!! I can breathe and I feel amazingly popped from my head to my toes!!! Now a great night's sleep in this roomy bed is all a person could ever dream of.....

The convenience of the property to where we needed was great. Beds were hard, and the bathroom was pretty small, the tv was not great, couldn't get the channels to change very easily. Overall it wasn't the cleaniness but okay.

The TV didn’t connect to any provider or service. The AC was so loud I couldn’t sleep, plus I was next to the loudest ice machine ever. The sheets smelled, the tub was dirty and the weird bottle opener attached to the sink was covered in rust. The absolute WORST POOL I’ve ever seen. There are slot machines in the lobby.

The pictures are very deceiving. This motel has been run down and needs serious upgrades. Our door screeched so loud when we would go in and out. It was embarrassing. The TV's are super small as well. We left early and stayed at the Holiday Inn. Totally worth switching thats for sure.

The room was ok. The bathroom was absolutely horrible. The toilet was not clean, it did jot flush properly, the towels was rough, the bath tub was not clean, the shower curtain was torn, the door to the bathroom was too big and had wood pieces missing at the bottom and had rust stains on it, one of the beds gad a spring that was sticking up through the mattress, the TV did not work due to internet connection, the carpet in the hall ways was extremely dirty.

Staff was nice enough to my face but told them twice my tv wasn’t working and for the 3 nights h stayed was never addressed or followed up on. Main area is pretty outdated and floors disgusting. The food wasn’t bad decent grab and go style options and waffles but the juice was waaayyy watered down. Room itself not bad but the comforter had distinct cigarette burns in them. Have stayed there a couple times and this was the worse. I am usually pretty chill but it just isn’t worth saving $100 bucks anymore.

The manager Woman was very rude from the beginning because we booked through hotels.com. she charged us $30 extra for our children who weren't coming to stay until the next day when at the most we should have been only charger $10. They condition of the hotel was horrible. Safety issues everywhere. Sprinklers covered with plastic bags. No locks on the outside doors. The hot tub wasn't working the the suana wasn't "in season" in late November. The vent in our bathroom didn't work. There was no phone in our room. Burn holes in the comforters. Paint touch ups done with spray paint

This is a clean place to stay and rooms are very spacious you can tell the owner really cares how their property appears. I love the fact that they still provide breakfast and for good times they have breakfast available it's from 5:30 am to 8:30 am for people who have to be at work early or later in the morning it's very convient and the TV in my room was not working when I called the front desk they said someone would be here to help shortly and in a matter of minutes they were knocking on my door to replace the bad TV with a good working TV it was very fast and good service.

I liked how close it was to the Sedalia State fair grounds. The hotel needed ventilation in the hallways very stuffy mildewy smell, and my girlfriend thinks she got some bedbugs, so needless to say we were not impressed.

Loved the entrance inside. Beautiful stairway with seating at top. Great breakfast and friendly staff. Comfortable beds, only thing we wished we have gotten to do was go swimming. Maybe next time, we just didnt have tome. Pool looked amazing.

Room was very dirty, had to wipe the room down with Lysol wipes. Blow dryer didn’t work. Microwave wouldn’t turn on, hot tub was broke, jets didn’t work. Didn’t get clean towels even after asking twice. TV kept saying no network, didn’t work one full afternoon out of our stay. Fruit at “breakfast” was brown and rotten.

Booked the room for 3 nights for $91.19 per night. Paid when we arrived. Charged correct price for one night and $171.00 for other 2 nights. Asked for a receipt at that time. Was told I would get a receipt when we left. Water leak in our room. They "credited" $43.30. Instead they took $43.30 out of my checking account. They denied but then credited $43.30. That charge cancelled the debit, but still didn't get a refund of $43.30 because the charge balanced the credit. They did have a good continental breakfast. I was overcharged 159.62. Third time I stayed in this hotel. Sad that I can't recommend this hotel any more.

Apparently front desk checked us out at ten, found out when the maid walked in while we are all still laying in bed. So we got up to get coffee and found out door card working, had front desk guy re do the key and it still didn’t work so I just got my kid to get out of bed and open the door

The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom is my only concern because it is dated, and there was no vent in the bathroom so everything steamed over after a shower. The breakfast had a large variety of items. I do wish there were extra blankets in the rooms, but that’s OK since one can control the temperature.

The place was fairly clean. No coffee maker in rooms and no coffee in the lobby. Wife got locked outside because the room key kept having to be reset. Just a bad experience. Don't believe what they advertise. Also the sauna wasn't open.
