Room was comfortable and spacious for 2 adults. Walkable to most attractions. Easy access too beach. Pool was clean and inviting. Breakfast was adequate and everyone had something they liked. The reception area had a strong smell of smoke. The main entrance is bit tricky to navigate, as you have to go further on Beach Blvd and then do a "U turn" to come back to enter the property.

Stayed to see a concert across the street at casino. Slept all night which is rare for me. The hot breakfast was top end as sausage and scrambled eggs go. I’d stay here again. also noticed security walking the lot and halls. Felt safe. This was a nice hotel. As apposed to parking in the large casino lot and moving luggage in a large distance. We could easily get our bags to our room here. The easy luggage unload parking area was an unexpected plus.

I really like this hotel. It’s an older property, but it is well-maintained. The rooms are large and have comfortable beds. There’s a refrigerator and microwave in each room most rooms have a patio or balcony.

Too much money a night for a not so clean place. It was poorly kept up and the pool was not clear and anybody can just walk in...as a homeless person just walked up to our table by the pool and was trying to get stuff from us. One of us had to go get someone from the front desk to get him to leave. The gentleman who came out was very friendly and nice about it. Not a very good stay there was actually pretty disappointed for the price i had to pay.

The hotel itself was nice. Very clean, breakfast was good, never ran out of bacon or sausage, a nice change compared to many higher priced hotels my family and I have stayed in! The beau rivage is across the street and completely blocks the beach, but it’s only a block drive up the road to get to the beach so that wasn’t a problem! Staff were very friendly, room service were great and always seen cleaning. The only complaint I have is they closed the pool to clean it during the day, and my kids were really looking forward to swimming again before we checked out. The front desk said the chemicals were strong and they couldn’t let anyone in until 11 (check out time) So it would have been nice had they put in the chemicals at night so it would be open to guests in the morning. Besides that, my and my family (5 year old, 3, and 1 year old, and hubby) were very comfortable and happy! We usually go to the inn at Long Beach and pay $200 or more a night, and we only paid $150 a night here and the hotel was a million times cleaner and breakfast was better than the more expensive hotel. Again, staff so nice and always seemed happy to be at work. Would recommend!

The hotel was dated. The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke when we checked in. The hallways smelled like weed. The room was acceptable but nothing special. The door hinges were rusted and the furnishings were dated but nothing was dirty. We felt safe enough but definitely felt like we were at a budget hotel. I wasn’t impressed but the location was convenient.

Bobby pins and hair left on the bathroom floor you can tell they didn't sweep or mop it. Tv remote didn't work and the doors into the hotel were cracked and broken. we have stayed there years ago and it was in much better condition.

Facility is in good location. Close to beaches, casinos, and Kessler AFB. Room was clean, but showed its age. Breakfast was above average for a Hotel. Very disappointed after advising hotel staff and no concession for inconvenience were even offered as a courtesy. Second room was better.

The room is a little tired, but was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Only thing I did note was that the humidity in the room felt high, and the PTAC unit while sufficient to cool the room seemed inadequate in pullout the moisture out of the air.

Not bad for an $89 room-- but it was $273! The hotel is very dated, dingy, in need of an upgrade. There was old, dirty-looking carpet in the room, used socks (not ours) on the balcony, which was small, rough concrete, and overlooked the parking lot. Bedding was thin, not luxurious. My pillowcase was actually frayed. Bathroom was utililitarian, with a 30-year-old Sunbeam hairdryer and scratchy, thin towels, and low-end toiletries (tiny bars of soap, no soap dish). Pros: TV was good and had a real remote and cable. Breakfast was small and cramped but nice options like fresh fruit, eggs, and a yogurt dispenser with toppings.

Lousy internet access, I spent several hours trying to get access. The manager was helpful however I never heard back from her or Tier 3 Support. So three days without access to Google or Email for food reviews or business locations. Do all your research before leaving home. You know like the good ole days.

I booked my room through Expedia and they double charged me for the room. 1 charge from Expedia and another through Best Western. I called Best western’s 800 number and they couldn’t help me. They said I needed to call the front desk of the hotel I stayed at to talk to them about it and I’ve tried and they do not answer their phone. Terrible

The television roared loudly, never worked. Tried to check in a bit early, others did in front of me, however my turn the rude clerk said cleaners not done. Come back in an hour. Rude and racist. We wont be back to that nasty hotel.

We booked a room for a night and had an unfortunate family emergency occur, which forced us to leave before 5pm. I spoke with the receptionist and she told me that they would help me out with a refund, but I will have to go through the third party site at which I booked. After speaking with the Expedia team, they connected with the manager at this Best Western and they decided they were going to go back on what they said in person and not issue any kind of refund. Hope the $200 you charged me was worth the one star review.

This was our first time staying here; it was really a great experience! We were able to walk places with the kids and feel safe, they have many dining options walking distance, and so much more! We were able to park our car when we arrived and didn’t drive anywhere, and we didn’t do one thing twice! Very great location!

Across the highway from casino. Older building but nice. Great air conditioner. Room was nice. Has no guest laundry. Minor league baseball stadium nearby. Easily walkable from Amtrak train platform. Restaurants nearby. Staff was great.

I like the location which was excellent for walking to the beach , casino , and even near the hospital! Close to many food spots and a gas station.

The room was fine, but there was an odd smell. We were on the third floor, so we opened up the patio door and it was ok because it was a mild night. The hallways were a bit grubby though. I have to say that the free hotel breakfast was one of best, though.

Very outdated hotel. Parking lot way too small for the amount of vehicles there. Very small breakfast room. Everyone was running into each other to get breakfast. No restroom near the breakfast room. You had to go back to your room to use the restroom. We chose this hotel because it was the only one available for the weekend. Would not return if given a choice. The positives were the workers in the breakfast room were friendly and kept it well supplied. Also our room attendant was pleasant and cleaned our room very well.

Stayed to see a concert across the street at casino. Slept all night which is rare for me. The hot breakfast was top end as sausage and scrambled eggs go. I’d stay here again. also noticed security walking the lot and halls. Felt safe. This was a nice hotel. As apposed to parking in the large casino lot and moving luggage in a large distance. We could easily get our bags to our room here. The easy luggage unload parking area was an unexpected plus.

I can tell from the outside that the property was going to be nasty on the inside. The rating of 8 or 9 is completely fabricated. This property is maybe a 3. The floor was nasty, there was a long hair left on the toilet seat, woke up and thought that there was lint on my pillow when I went to move it, it smeared blood so it was some kind of bug on my pillow as a slept. I told the front desk about my dissatisfaction and he actually got an attitude with me. The breakfast was the only thing I enjoyed. They had a yogurt machine which I have never seen before, and you could make your own parfait. The eggs and sausage where hot and good, the attendant was so sweet and made sure all breakfast was replenished. Upon going back to the room there was a roach on the wall outside of our room. Will never stay here again and I would advise no one else to.
