Philadelphia Marriott Old City

Great location for walking around Old City, and over to Reading Terminal Market. We lucked out and got to check in very early. Also lucky to get a room on the hall that doesn't open out to the atrium, which can get quite loud.

Reception staff were not the friendliest. Only one bottle of water in the room, with two guests, I had to ask for more and even then it wasn’t brought to the room. The walls were thin and you could hear other guests like they were in your room. The reception area was extremely noisy at night. The water was cold for ages, you had to run the tap or the shower for several minutes until you got any hot water. I’ve stayed at Marriott several times but this location was disappointing.

The parking communication could be better.

Clean room, there was a baby cockroach crawling on the bar when we got drinks.
