Very clean hotel. I liked the 24 hour coffee and ice water bar. Breakfast wasn't too exciting but a decent assortment. I mean, who doesn't like making their own waffles? We had a room across the hall from the pool and hot tub. That was the first place I went after the long day we had. I was alone and it was perfect. I got to watch a storm roll through out of the windows that stretched along the length of the pool area. All in all it was a pretty good stay.

When I first got in my room, I noticed coffee rings all over the furniture and countertops. There is a piece of garbage behind the door in the bathroom. There was no shampoo to conditioner bottles. There were three decaf coffees, but no regular coffee. And worse, there was a piece of chewed gum in the drain in the Kitchenette sink.

I'm somewhat picky when it comes to hotels. Wanting cleanliness at a good price. This place did just that. Perfect for a quick stay. Older hotel but was nice a clean. Very basic breakfast but did the trick. Would stay there again.

Staff was friendly, polite, and professional. Room was what we expected for the rate, generally hotel and room were clean (although there was a bra left on the floor by the bed, assuming by the previous guest) and though the room appeared clean, it was odd that the bra was missed. Coffee in the office area was really good, a refreshing change of pace from most hotels. Pool and hot tub were clean and in good condition. If you're a person who wants a hot tub to be hot, not lukewarm, this hotel is ideal.

We paid over $200 for a room. Shampoo and body cream half used. Tissue box empty. used towel to soak up spilled water and towel was terribly dirty. Floor carpet was grimy. One washcloth. Loud running and walking above our room up to 10:00pm and then again at 6:00am. Phone did not work to call lobby. Will never stay at a microtel hotel again.

Hotel looked great outside. Inside has lots of charm with the stone lobby, very rustic looking. Rooms were very small. Not much room to get around. Bed was so lumpy. Pool and hottub were small but nice area. Great area to relax. Hot water in showers. And rooms were clean. Biggest thing was the bed and pillows.

Hotel walls are paper thin...seriously though!!! Had two women staying in the room next door and although they were just carrying on a normal conversation, we could hear every detail clear as day :(. Would not stay there again.

Very clean, I was impressed. However, the bones of the hotel themselves are not good. TV is small and in a weird place, which I didn't mind but still. Heat was on in the room when I got in and it took forever to cool off- a/c does not work well. There were two available outlets with 2 sockets each. That's it. And one of those had to go to the coffee pot in the morning! And there wasn't one near the head of the bed and I had a CPAP I needed to use. the microwave was so tiny, and only one small trash can in each room the size of my foot. The big thing, though- 22 minute wait for the front desk person to show up from wherever she went to check in. They had a number to call and it just rang into the desk. One guest had been waiting when I got there! And only the minimum of a mumbled apology. I also forgot something and called in to ask about it, was promised a call back if they had it, and no call. Showed up later anyway to check- just on a whim- yep. They had it. I'll give them a break for that, they are short staffed, but yeah. Oh, the jetted tub leaked so it was a never ending quest to keep it filled. NOT worth the upgrade.

No restaurants walkable but 10 m drive to downtown. Close to highway and Walmart. Price was high for move in weekend, so maybe my expectations were also too high

We don't recall his name, but the man at the desk in the morning went above and beyond to help us. He was going back and forth between the desk and breakfast area, greeting people, refilling food, and cleaning. He was very kind and deserves commending.

From the moment we walked in, the hotel smelled & looked incredibly clean. I personally witnessed staff changing everything from all linens to shower curtains between guests, which was very reassuring. Every public space we saw was immaculate and impressively organized. The breakfast was what you would expect from a standard continental breakfast, but the dining area has limited seating, so I recommend arriving early if you want to sit at a table. The staff were polite, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. My only suggestion would be to improve staffing levels. While the team exceeded many of my expectations, service was sometimes slow simply because the staff were stretched thin. There wasn’t always someone at the front desk during our stay, but they promptly came when called by phone. Overall, they went above and beyond in cleanliness and hospitality, and with just a bit more staffing, the service would be flawless.

When we got there, there was a sign that stated that knobody was available to check us in. Finally someone came to the desk and we asked if he could do it. He said, “I guess”. I asked him how his day was and he ignored my question. The rest of the interaction with him was awkward and very uncomfortable. I had my employees get a room there so we could be in the same hotel and he was just as rude to them. Any questions asked were answered with “call the number.” I felt like we were a nuisance and he had no desire to help. The walls are thin and you can hear “everything”. If you have young children, pick a different place. I travel weekly for work and this was, by far, the most awkward experience I’ve ever had at a hotel.

Our experience started off poorly. The very unfriendly and incompetent lady at the front desk argued with me that I owed for the room, but I kept telling her I paid for it already. I even showed her my receipt and she would not believe me. She finally made a phone call And found out that they made a mistake on their end and forgot to credit my payment. She never apologized at all and she acted like it was all my fault. But I don’t let things like that ruin my trip. Upon checking into the room, it is the weirdest layout, very cheaply made furniture, no lamps on the bedside tables and we had to do a scavenger hunt to try to find an outlet to plug our phones in. We also could hear every footsteps from the people above us. Not a very good impression of this hotel.

Our experience started off poorly. The very unfriendly and incompetent lady at the front desk argued with me that I owed for the room, but I kept telling her I paid for it already. I even showed her my receipt and she would not believe me. She finally made a phone call And found out that they made a mistake on their end and forgot to credit my payment. She never apologized at all and she acted like it was all my fault. But I don’t let things like that ruin my trip. Upon checking into the room, it is the weirdest layout, very cheaply made furniture, no lamps on the bedside tables and we had to do a scavenger hunt to try to find an outlet to plug our phones in. We also could hear every footsteps from the people above us. Not a very good impression of this hotel.

The room was clean and most, not all, of the staff was very helpful and professional. One employee walkes up and down the hallway with a Bluetooth speaker playing music. The area arou d the hotel is horrible and gross. There is a homeless encampment 1 block away. Not a good area.

Room was well kept, housekeeping does a great job. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is where the 2 stars come in...... Breakfast consists of waffles, apples, yogurt, packaged sugary oatmeal, and boiled eggs, very small area, with so uncomfortable. Unfortunately the walls are not insulated or something, heard people next door, even their phones vibrate so I had to keep the TV on all night. So light sleepers, this hotel is not for you. Would I stay here again.... Definitely not

We are rating this property and our stay as just okay. Nothing stood out as excellent, but nothing was totally terrible either. Needs improvement: bathroom was too small, coffee in reception area downstairs was not kept hot and fresh for people like us who drink coffee throughout the day. Breakfast could be better with more variety to choose from including hot items. The a/c unit in our room was located near the window and was difficult to regulate the temperature. What we liked: the beds were comfortable, the pool was nice, the laundry room accommodating as well as ice machine and vending.

Very clean hotel. I liked the 24 hour coffee and ice water bar. Breakfast wasn't too exciting but a decent assortment. I mean, who doesn't like making their own waffles? We had a room across the hall from the pool and hot tub. That was the first place I went after the long day we had. I was alone and it was perfect. I got to watch a storm roll through out of the windows that stretched along the length of the pool area. All in all it was a pretty good stay.

There was no noise protection and a lot of movement overhead and in the hall. The bathroom sink was in pretty bad shape. Cleanliness was ok, but not sure I’ll stay there next visit. Also, I called about having a dog and they never alerted me that there was a dog fee, so that made me unhappy, too.

This was my second stay at the Microtel, and once again I found it to be clean, serviceable and the staff is friendly. The phone in my room didn't work and no one answered at the front desk when I called down using my cell, and unfortunately there was no iron or ironing board in the room. That said, if you are looking for a no nonsense place to stay in Bozeman this is a good spot.
