Americas Best Value Inn Kalispell

The hotel was under construction, the room had unfinshed partially painted no door handle or lock to the bathroom, very loud music throughout the night, compared to previous stay at this hotel it was poor.

I did not like that the back door didn't lock. The door was broken so anyone could get in without the key reader. The hotel itself was fine for a one night stay on our way to our destination. The beds were comfortable.

My stay was great, the parking situation isn’t great but they can’t change that.

Disappointed, the pictures did match the property but poorly represented the property. Felt dingy, poorly lit, out dated. Staff informed us most vending was likely not to work. Property area was ot the greatest.

Room was outdated and in need of repairs. The walls/floors were dirty. Linen was clean but still had a few short hairs. The bed had springs that would pop when you move. No elevator.

Location was great for things to do in the area. But for the price paid was not worth it. The property needs alot of love. new sheets, new pillows new shower curtain.They were clean but stained and worn. hallway carpet needs to be replaced. little things missing, drain in sink, cover to soap dispenser. parking lot was tight. including the car up on a jack with missing tires. when a tire repair was next door down the hill from hotel

I made this reservation and paid through Expedia but when I got there she spent 10 minutes telling me she had to verify the rates were correct they were. The first room they put us in had an inoperable deadbolt. The side door of the building had no operational lock even though it had a keypad and signage saying it did. The rooms look to be in a state of disrepair. Possibly an upgrade was in progress. I'm not sure there's no signage explaining it. If you don't want to spend $300 or more for a major chain or an ice hotel night though, this is a fine alternative

Seemed very clean. Bed was well used (wallow on one side), towels had holes etc. Breakfast was acceptable but not expansive. Really missed an elevator. But, overall was better than expected.

The back door didn't work properly with the key. The parking lot and all hallways needed cleaning.. the room was clean

This place needs work. They rentavating now so they are on it. If you just need a roof over your head then stay. If your a clean and germafobick then stay away for now until they complete there rentavating of the property.

The A/C hardly worked. The bed was hard. The pillows were small and flat. There was blood on the floor in the bathroom. The towels were hard and thin. The room just overall didn't feel clean.

Not a clean hotel room.

No towels in room at check in, tried calling down to the front desk numerous times and no one answered. Walked down and the individual was on their personal cell phone, could hear people unstairs like they were in the room, no coffee, very uncomfortable pillows.

Floors were filthy. Wiped water on bathroom floor. Cloth can up black! Carpets were stained. Curtins were hanging haphazard on just a Rod. Curtin held by curtin pins only. Several missing. No draw Rod. Can’t call them drapes. Hallway had disgusting Oder. Motel not ADA. Stairway to and from room and to ice machine and to provisions for what the called breakfast. Rear exit to parking lot was supposed to be locked and opened by room key. Never was. Access by anyone to our floor even at night.

Property was dirty and the building had a musty smell. Room was outdated and filthy. Towels were like sandpaper. Horrible paint colors in the room, draperies were 2 different colors that did not coordinate. No coffee in the room. Staff was very unfriendly

Very old and dirty.

This place was filthy. The wall mirror in my room had a child's handprints all over it. There were no kids with me. The lampshade was sliced. The bed was rumpled. The bathroom hardware had been cheaply moved (using a piece of wood to attach hardware to the wall and the old holes were not filled or painted. The hand towel had a long black hair on it as did the bath towel. I slept in my clothes on top of the linens. This place was filthy and gross. The lady at the front was nice about everything. The cleaning crew needs some work as does the owner.

It was sub par. The room had a dirty floor and the wall wasn’t finished. Only painted part of the wall and seemed to stop by the headboard of the bed. The bed had dog hair in it, and there was hair on the towels. It was okay for one night, but wouldn’t stay there again

9/27/23 room 125. Should’ve ran the other way. Motel smelled awful.The front desk person couldn’t focus, he was assisting another worker who was clueless. Along the way to our room the floor had food crumbs, huge stains on the carpets, nothing vacuumed, dirty finger prints all over, doors filthy, etc. Our room door handle was sticky, stains on chairs, stains on carpets, smelled terrible, layers upon layers of dust, something had spilled on the table and it was left there. It was an ugly dark brown color but tan in some spots. They painted around items that used to be hanging. 1 head board was at an angle, it was broken & propped there. The pillows had stains. The sheets on one bed had all sorts of stains and hair!!! The tub had mold, toilet seat moves all over, toilet had “stuff” on it. The coffee cups and coffee pot was covered in a layered in dust. There were styrofoam cups not covered in plastic just sitting, no clue if they were used or new. The sink had hair on it & dried toothpaste. Curtains falling off in spots. You hear everything coming from the other rooms. We luckily had our own blanket to lay down and lay on. We covered our pillows with a shirt. Next morning I was COVERED IN A RASH! Everyone should be getting refunded for staying here. I wrote a note a good deep clean & new housekeepers. TAKE PRIDE IN WHAT YOU OWN OR SHUT IT DOWN! Is motel is absolutely the dirtiest place I ever seen. DO NOT STAY HERE! Hopefully the owner will see this and start issuing refunds!!

The customer service we received was great and the beds were comfortable. The same guy working all weekend. Our room had an odor, one we discovered during the last night from a leaking air conditioning unit. Tried to report it, no one at desk. Hallways had not been vacuumed for a while. The outside doors never locked so easy access to anyone who wanted to come in. There was also people outside in the parking lot being loud both nights, leading us to look out and check on our vehicle and what was happening from a safety perspective.

Room was clean. Parking was limited. Internet was terrible (slow, when it actually worked at all). Service was good. A little old, but still fine.

Everything was good! But property is located near the road, and it can be noisy in your room. But for someone it is no problem, so just know about this. Overall i liked this place!

On main road and rooms aren’t very sound proof so a bit noisy. Rooms are a bit outdated and pocket door to bathroom was broken. Breakfast had waffles, yogurt, muffins, plain bread, coffee, milk, and oatmeal.

Hotel was cheap and convenient to the airport. But as with most things you get what you pay for. Night clerk was interesting, to say the least. Had to take our own towels to the room due to hotel was understaffed. Couple in the room next to ours was up talking until after 3am and it sounded like they were in the same room with us.

In midst of remodeling. Not sute if our room was new or old. Very little space around furnishings. Poor mattress.

It's not a bad stay. I was there in Mid September. A lot of travelers from Alberta were staying. Lot of 'older people' who hang in the lobby area, which is fine :) TV and beds are okay, bed shifts when moving around. The only thing I would add is that the soap dispensers were all out and they didn't have any replacements to provide. I had to use body soap I had for shower and washing hands. Breakfast had coffee, yogurt, bagels, etc

This was basically just what we signed up for, "value inn". The room was clean, but a little banged up. The shower was functional, but definitely a little old and small. There was noise through the door of other people staying there in the hallway while we were sleeping, so sound proofing is not excellent.

Bed was comfortable.

Room is outdated but pretty clean. You can hear neighbor next room talking. Convenience with food and stores nearby and easy to get around. Good for short stay.

Hotel was clean and easy to access. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Always full of smiles and ready to help.

We checked in, was assigned a room and went up to rest prior to our evening events. An hour later someone attempted to get into our door but it was locked and they left. When we went to leave, I tried to check at the desk to ensure that all was in order. There was no one available at the desk. When we returned at 10:30 that evening, our door cards would not work and we were told that we were supposedly in a different room than what we had been checked into. As our belongings were in the original room, we were given access again a and the attender said he would correct the error. When we went to check out, our room numbers were still mixed up And we were asked why we were checking out early. We weren’t. We were only staying one night. The whole stay was very confusing and did not leave us feeling at all secure about our stay.

Broken pull out bed couch. Talked to front desk everyday (5day stay). Was told it was going to get fixed everyday, never got fixed. 2 individuals had terrible sleeping arrangements.

Don't stay here. I paid for our room through Expedia and this hotel also charged me and I've called several times to try to get my money back and all I get is, "I need to talk to the manager". The woman behind the desk didn't know what she was doing and admitted she was new and assured me I wasn't getting charged. The next morning when we checked out, I wanted a receipt and they couldn't give me one because the computer wasn't working. The hotel is old and very dated.

I reserved 2 nights months in advance. Upon check in they only had 1 night available. Very rude customer service at the front desk. Had to make another arrangement, last minute, on a very busy weekend.

Staff was awesome… they were friendly and helpful.

I have traveled 45 US states, 21 countries and 4 continents. It was the worst stay in my life. I reserved for two rooms with two queen beds, and mentioned twice that I will arrive late as my flight were late, all full paid for the rooms, even after that they gave my rooms to someone else. When I arrived at the hotel with my kids, they gave me rooms with single beds, uncleaned, with blood stains on bed sheet, no room to sleep. When I complained, they gave me a rolling bed, just upto the door, and made me change the bed sheets, unfold the rolling bed myself and put bed sheets by myself. The receptionist was un apologetic, very un American. This is my first time booking with Hotels.com, I would never do it again and will try my best to make sure that none of my family and friends use this. How can Hotels.com allow this. It is ridiculous. They ruined my vacation.

STAFF is great!

This place was a disaster. They gave our room away before we got there and did not have another one to put us in. The staff was unprofessional. Would not suggest this place to no one.

I chose this property for its availability and price. Just a few minor things that would be nice: the bathroom fan was very loud and the water running through the pipes made a high-pitched noise. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. I could see that upgrades were being made and those will be nice.

Everything was good! But property is located near the road, and it can be noisy in your room. But for someone it is no problem, so just know about this. Overall i liked this place!

Great value, centrally located

Very convenient location.

The hotel is older, but good value. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were terrible. We were at the back of the hotel and it was pretty quiet. It does sit on Highway 93, so unsure about the front. Shopping and lots of restaurants nearby.

While the location is on the highway, rooms on the backside of Americas Best are very quiet. There is a City Brew speciality coffee location within a city block, a short walk. The hotel manager arranged for a local cab to the downtown and restaurants. We were able to park our motorcycles in a parking spot right next to the lobby

The motel is VERY convenient to the hospital in Kalispell. Therefore we often stay there when we schedule procedures. We live 75 miles away from Kalispell so when we have early am appointments we will often stay in a motel so we don't have to get up so early. Recently we have seen how this property has become very rundown and it is steadily getting worse. The rooms are adequate but dirty, OLD, very worn out and repairs are sloppy. Plus the tv service is impossible. We could only watch one channel. For $99 we should be able to at least watch TV all channels.

Great location near glacier

This motel is conveniently located to the hospital, as well as shopping and dining areas. The staff was great, and the motel was clean and inviting.

For a 2 star property, this hotel is pretty good. It definitely shows its age but it was clean, the beds were comfortable, the location is great and it even had a breakfast which was a nice surprise. For the price, I would stay here again.

Unable to check in until 4:30 pm due to room not being ready, very sparse options for breakfast, make yourself waffles, 2 dry cereals, orange and apple juice, muffins, and apples and oranges. Plate barely held the waffle, and plastic knife and fork bent severely as cut up waffle.

Thought it was great for the price. And I was pleasantly surprised there was a breakfast offered. Only suggestion is to keep the coffee urns topped up.

Appears the facility is quite dated. Some attempt appears to be happening to upgrade it. Breakfast offered was very limited.

The continental breakfast was very minimal and had no options for Celiacs. A big waste of time for the high price of this hotel.

The hotel was fine for our purposes as we were gone most of the day. Breakfast was strictly continental and there was no fresh fruit of any type. The one concern was the "secure" side entrance - you just had to pull the door hard, you didn't need your room key at all. The beds were comfortable (pillows weren't great though) and the shower had good pressure and hot water. We had a couple rough nights due to kids above our room but that's not the hotel's fault - they tried to quiet them down.

This property is just okay at best. The internet didn’t work the entire time I was there unless I walked down near the front desk. The breakfast was very low quality and after staying there 2 nights I could tell they simply used the previous days leftovers. Absolutely no quality food, only some stale bread and muffins and very low quality fruit I wouldn’t eat. They are glad to take your money but once you are there there’s really no comforts or conveniences.

I didn’t like that there are no blackout curtains in the room, as the lights outside the hotel are sooo bright and it can be hard to fall/stay asleep. Other than that, the hotel was fine. We stayed for UTBS and we were really only looking for a shower and a bed, which is what we got lol. The breakfast was middling, just a waffle maker and some other stuff but had good bagels! The staff was friendly and check in/out was super easy. I think 7/10

Our stay was excellent. Breakfast options are limited, but overall satisfaction.

Room was small but clean. There was a coffee maker and mini fridge. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was very small but functional. Free breakfast items like oranges, apples, waffles and muffins were available. Front desk staff was friendly. Hotel was older but decent value so overall we would stay again.
