Courtyard by Marriott Asheville

Property was clean well and maintained. Checking and staff very courteous. The grill was conveniently place dining area clean and functional. We did not use the grill primarily because they serve Starbucks

Staff was great. Bartender poured a great old fashioned. Pool was a nice respite.

Nice clean hotel. Close to downtown. A little disappointed that the Starbucks and the bar wasn’t available but the first day we got there.

No Wi-fi in lobby. Had no wi-fi for 2 days in my room. Had NO problems at next door Marriott Homesuites or at I-hop Staff said it must be my cell. Staff was not aware lobby had no outlets I wilk never stay at a Marriot again. I also had to sign up for Bonvoy when I booked. So it seems they charge customers for wi-fi. No other hotels charge. Staff was polite and tried to help.

We didn't eat at the hotel, however there is an Italian restaurant right next door that was delicious. The indoor pool was clean and the outside fire pit area was very nice. The checkout was easy and they even gave me a snack for the road.

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Great location. Nicely landscaped grounds. The treadmills were great. The breakfast was a bit pricey. The cafe staff a bit clueless, but very friendly and nice. Hotel staff were also very kind!

Booked the hotel last minute. Loved the place and it was very clean. They had a pool and exercise equipment which I used. Staff was very friendly will definitely return.

The rooms were very clean. Service at the restaurant was sketchy. But they did manage it in the end. Everyone was very nice. I was able to charge everything to my room which made things very convenient. My pup was welcomed with open paws. I would go back.

Nice property. Very attentive staff and room was very clean.

Bed was not made. Floor was not swept because debris was found. Tissues and toilet paper had to be replaced by us. Desk people were wonderful and gave great advice on local restaurants.

We had a great stay while in town volunteering. This was a clean hotel and the staff was polite and helpful. The room was well appointed and clean. The beds are very comfortable.

Tile floors were dirty and sticky in common areas and the room bathroom. Someone needs to learn how to mop floors.

The hotel and room were immaculate. The bed was super comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.

Location was ideal, close enough to travel to downtown and get to the state park. Hotel room was spacious and clean

The photos on the booking page are not the same photos of the property. There are mountain views from this hotel. The only view you will have is that of the Carrabba’s and the other hotels in the parking lot. The hotel is not in the best part of Asheville with tons of homeless individuals around and a homeless shelter across the street from the entrance. I would not recommend this hotel if you’re traveling alone or with children. We did not feel safe and checked out shortly after checking in.

Excellent stay! Clean, friendly staff, my only complaint is that the bed was quite hard but overall I would recommend this Marriott.

It was a comfortable standard hotel room, actually pretty roomy. Quiet even though off if busy road.

The place is nice, but the sound proofing between floors and neighbors wasn't so great. Can hear TV, people walking upstairs, talking, and neighbors snoring come through at night. Little hard to find but good location.

The front desk staff and Regina at the bar were so friendly and so helpful. Such a pleasant experience interacting with them. From answering numerous questions about the area to helping us get a stubborn wine bottle open, they were patient and eager to assist. Will definitely stay here again when coming back to the area. Loved our balcony room facing the woods as well.

Awesome hotel! Was clean, quiet, easy in and out, and service was excellent. This is my go-to hotel for Asheville for sure!

The staff were very friendly and focused on customer service. It’s so nice to be helped by people who seem to love their jobs and want to go above and beyond for their customers.

I have to give a special thanks to Valerie Bishop. She worked with my daughter via telephone and helped set up a big surprise in my room. She even made the towel swans on our bed! I had flowers and rose petals and chocolate covered strawberries! The room was nice and clean as are all my stays at a Marriot hotel. Always great staff. I have to say though I like this Asheville Marriot better than the Hickory one. And the Hickory one is Awesome too.

The overall stay was perfect for my family’s needs. However, at check-in, our card was charged twice for the stay, and that really messed up our travel budget. When I pointed it out to the hospitality person at the desk, I was informed that there was only one hold, and there wasn’t anything that could be done. This was not true. Our financial institution was still showing two holds for the amount of the room. I was also told that once our charges were settled on the day of checkout, that all holds were to be dropped. This also was not true. The clerk stated that it could take 2 to 5 days for the hold to be released depending on our financial institution. I had our bank on the phone with me at the time of checkout so that they could release the second hold on our card. They were not able to do so, and when I brought this to the attention of the clerk, once again, I was told there was nothing they could do. There was a sign on the desk that stated exactly what the clerk was saying, that it could take 2 to 5 days to release the whole, depending on the financial institution. This is false. Even with my financial institution on the phone with me at the time of checkout, the holds were not released. This whole situation with being charged double really upset and frustrated me. Our family had to cut our vacation short due to it since all of our travel funds were being held, and our financial institution could do nothing from their end since it was being held by the hotel.

A good value. Perfectly acceptable. Comfortable bed, clean room, great indoor pool. I would stay there again. The only negative is that the surrounding are looks like it’s going downhill. We didn’t feel unsafe, however

Shower pressure was extremely high with no lower setting available despite a control knob on side of showerhead (impossible to shower without getting hair wet from overspray). Would still stay here again though when reasonably priced.

Close to places to eat and hospitals

We stayed for 2 nights and first of all it was find the location of this hotel. There was no clear sign on the road. So I was going round and round to find the property. I did not book handycap room though I was given one. The front desk lady did not tell us that she is giving us this room. I did not complain as I checked in at midnight and was very tired.

Nice and clean! Easy to find bc it was around a lot of hotels. Pleasant staff. I would def stay there again.

Great hotel.close to eeryting owntown Asheville. Restraunt and bar on premise, food is very good and the staff is amazing and acomadate. Best Mariott I've ever stayed in.

Location is quiet and facility is clean. Wasn't impressed with the restaurant/bar.

We loved this property! The staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and updated, there is a Carrabba’s next door and a Starbucks in the lobby! It was everything that I could have wanted!
