The property looked like a meth motel. When we complained about the air conditioning not working in our room we were given the run around. Ended up taking several hours before we were moved to another room. There is also a night club on the property that had loud music going until early in the morning.

It was run down, the "free breakfast" was waffles you make yourself. The bar/lounge was not open. There were a few restaurants in the area within walking distance.

No weather stripping at bottom of door. Had to put a towel there. Carpet ripped room poorly painted. Charged extra for pets. A lot of shady looking people staying there. Looked like drug dealing or prostitution. Pool was green. Priced high considering the surroundings.

When booked---pool. NOT available to use when I was there. Room was ok but dried paint on curtains; 2 holes punched on both sides of bathroom door and back side was loose/broken; many plugs were not plugged in including room phone; tub plug not working correctly; we had to wait in lobby until exactly 3pm to check in EVEN though rooms were ready and they were not busy. I won't go there again.

When I booked with Expedia (3 rooms) I indicated that I was traveling with pets. The hotel then charged me an additional $50 for my pets. Pool inoperable, green slime. Room very dirty, area feels unsafe. Very dissatisfied.

Found bedbugs in the sheets. Took the bedbug down to front desk. The lady working acknowledged it. She tried to give us a different room. I told her I was not comfortable staying at this hotel anymore. I was here for my grandfathers funeral and I did not need the stress of worrying about bed bugs. She refused a full refund and told me my only option was another room. Assuring me the other rooms were not the same. Yet in that same moment another person came up behind me complaining about her sheets being dirty. So clearly it wasn’t just my room. I had to find other lodging on my own after Expedia only gave me 50 dollars in points towards another hotel. I am so dissatisfied with my experience with Expedia and this motel. To be expected to stay and not get my money back so I can stay somewhere else while trying to deal with the death of my grandfather made this whole weekend harder then it had to be. Very very frustrated

This place was so disgusting! Dirty sheets that had burn holes in them, bugs, mold in the refrigerator, black mold by the AC and a sopping wet carpeted floor by the AC. There was one chair in the room that was broken that had metal where if anyone would have sat on it, would have been cut. We tried to find other accommodations but everything was sold out. We slept on towels on top of the bed. The lights by the vanity didn’t work. The lock to the door was broken. There was a hole in the door where the peephole is and had a napkin stuffed in it. This was the worst overnight stay ever!!! We were so grossed out! There was a sign in the room that said no smoking and it said this policy is strictly enforced yet the room wreaked of smoke. When I walked to the front desk to let them know, the girl named Quan, said she only checks people in and doesn’t deal with any issues with the rooms. She also said there are no non smoking rooms. Because of these issues, I don’t think in good conscience keep my money. I want a full refund. I have pictures of everything I mentioned. Mark Bateman, handybateman@verizon.net

While the room looked clean to the naked eye, it was absolutely unsafe and disgusting. There was black mold above the window and throughout the bathroom. The room smelled horrible, of chemicals. The safety latch to the door was missing screws and our door would move open when the wind blew. Unfortunately, it was very late at night and unless we wanted to sleep in our car, this was where we were stuck. Do not go here!

Terrible Experience – Would Not Recommend I stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed. The bathroom had mold and was broken in several places. The cleanliness overall was horrible – it looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in a long time. This place definitely does not meet basic hygiene standards. I would not stay here again.

The staff was accommodating but a bit drab. The doors on all 4 of the rooms we had did not shut well at all. We were able to open the locked door without our key card, which didn't make us feel very secure.The rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast consisted of a couple of cereal dispensers in a large club room with a juice machine, not that we expected anything more. Although very convenient, it was very noisy at night from loud traffic. A lot of people were disrespectful around the room doors waking us up several times during the night, both nights of our stay. I'm not complaining, but, I'm not giving praise either.

I was a little worried about staying at this property after reading all the bad comments, but I was pleasantly surprised - the room was clean and tidy, there were no bugs anywhere. The walls could've used a new coating of paint, but the beds and pillows were comfy and clean.

The room had been smoked in, the beds were 53" wide, not queens as advertised. Bath was dirty. Four people, only had two towels. Worked, but not very good. Pool was fine.

Quality Inn was a fine stay. It's older and a little run down, but it was clean and the staff was very polite and responsive. It's a safe part of town, so I never felt any issues. The breakfast was simple, but it was a good, hot, fresh waffle and fruit. There were no issues with the bed or the linens, though the room smelled of smoke, likely a result of the property's age. I saw NO insects my entire week long stay, which I feel like is a major accomplishment for any hotel. The Wi-Fi was typical slow hotel Wi-Fi, so nothing particularly good or bad there. It worked well enough to browse the web and stream SD movies. Don't try gaming on it. The room was cleaned daily and fresh linens and towels were supplied on request. The bed was quite comfortable, but the problem started in the morning -our shower was not working at all, so we could not shower. At checkout, we told Tony, the manager, who made a note of it, but was otherwise unapologetic or concerned. We asked for a partial credit for the stay, but were refused. Stay at your own risk.

Worst experience ever! Room was suppose to be for a king bed and was not. Walls wore filthy, bed cover was dirty, after removing sheets appeared to have never been changed, dirty and wrinkled, mattress cover dirty and wrinkled with what appeared to bed a hair scrunchy with hair attached. Mattress very stained. Foul odor. Chair in room dirty. I was told no other rooms available and a refund could be given but then was told I would have to speak with manager. Now when I call I am told manager is unavailable. He has also not responded to Expedia booking about complaint and refund. We did not stay at Quality Inn due to conditions.

When we got to our room, it was extremely warm. We contacted the office and they put a new air-conditioning unit in our room. The maintenance/ housekeeping were very helpful in all our needs. The pool was nice and clean. Only offensive downfall was many tenants smoked marijuana and the smell was very strong to have children around. The breakfast bar needs more food besides cereal. But other than that, our stay was pleasant.

Lets start with check in, the manager Tony Patel was standing there making a lady cry degrading her because she came in with her belongings in a garbage bag. He kept telling her you better be able to pay and she kept repeating she already reserved her room and he says yeah but is therecany money left on that card? She asked is it because I have kids and he kept yelling at her while my hisband and I waited in line. She finally got her keys. After that we were told the rooms were still being cleaned, she was trying to find out if any were available and I just asked for any keys and told her we will go to the room later that night. We get to our room at 10pm. Everything looked good, I went to the bathroom and there are 3 punch holes in the inside of the door. Someone put toilet paper in it for some reason. I went down and reported it. Then in the morning I go for the cheesy breakfast and there are bugs by the trash can. Crawling bugs not flying bugs. I leave there and look at the pool and it is black. We will NOT be staying here when we come back to North Carolina.

Quality Inn was a fine stay. It's older and a little run down, but it was clean and the staff was very polite and responsive. It's a safe part of town, so I never felt any issues. The breakfast was simple, but it was a good, hot, fresh waffle and fruit. There were no issues with the bed or the linens, though the room smelled of smoke, likely a result of the property's age. I saw NO insects my entire week long stay, which I feel like is a major accomplishment for any hotel. The Wi-Fi was typical slow hotel Wi-Fi, so nothing particularly good or bad there. No weather stripping at bottom of door. Had to put a towel there. Carpet ripped room poorly painted. Charged extra for pets. A lot of shady looking people staying there. Looked like drug dealing or prostitution. Pool was green. Priced high considering the surroundings.

The staff was accommodating but a bit drab. The doors on all 4 of the rooms we had did not shut well at all. We were able to open the locked door without our key card, which didn't make us feel very secure.The rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast consisted of a couple of cereal dispensers in a large club room with a juice machine, not that we expected anything more. Although very convenient, it was very noisy at night from loud traffic. A lot of people were disrespectful around the room doors waking us up several times during the night, both nights of our stay. I'm not complaining, but, I'm not giving praise either.

Customer service is very bad. When we go for breakfast there is nothing except make your own waffle and cereal. Coffee maker doesn't make coffee it's coming light brown water. I asked receptionist about breakfast and she told me that's all they have. I was waiting to asked her but she was watching movie or something with high volume. She doesn't notice someone is waiting. Breakfast room is not even clean. We got orange juice and throw away because it bad smell too.

I didn't like that the pool hours were very slim! Pool opens at 11:00 am and i wanted to take a swim before checkout. Checkout was also at 11 am! Very user unfriendy! Breakfast was adequate considering the charge.

If you enjoy playing “Which Room Smells the Least Terrible?”, this is the hotel for you! Our walk to the first room came with a complimentary marijuana cloud. Once inside, the smell got even stronger—I’m pretty sure we could’ve gotten a contact high just from unpacking. We asked to switch rooms and were upgraded to the lovely aroma of cat pee so powerful it almost made me vomit. Third room? Still a faint weed smell, but by that point it was late and we had accepted our fate. The advertised bar and grill? Apparently disappeared into another dimension. Conference room? Also missing in action. Free breakfast was a thrilling selection of questionable cereal, DIY waffles, and coffee that tasted like regret. Outside, there were stray cats, broken furniture, and pool chairs serving as the only seating. Morning entertainment included a live hallway argument between a man and a woman. The sheets had burn holes, the front desk had a candle burning what I can only assume was an attempt to fight the weed smell, and honestly, the candle deserved employee of the month. The staff was very nice, and the outdoor pool was actually nice too. So, two stars for the people and the pool—but the rest of the experience felt like checking into a hotel designed by a chaotic reality TV producer.
