When I arrived the staff was friendly and checked us in fast. When I entered the room it smelled musty and on immediate inspection the bathroom had hair and dirt everywhere. It was 11 at night so I just went right to sleep. The next morning I woke up and found a two inch roach scurrying across the floor which I took care of with my shoe. When I checked out I informed the front desk of the cleanliness and the roach and he apologized and I stated that it was fine I just wanted to let you know so you could take care of it and then I left to drive home. I was not going to leave a review good or bad I was just going to leave it at that. They then called me an hour later to tell me I forgot some clothes so I said I will be right back to retrieve them. When I got back to the inn to pick up my clothes the front desk help who was the same man I told about how my dirty roach infested room was said to me as I was walking out make sure you leave us a good review and I just looked at him with surprise and said ok if that’s what you want. So here’s my good review I hope it helps someone in the future or helps them maintain the property better.

Well, it was a bed to sleep in. Shower did not drain well, AC vent cover fell off as I entered the room. TV was crooked. Simple room. Breakfast was acceptable. Eggs, sausage, cereal, waffles, bagels. The hotel seemed very empty and I was not offered a new room when AC vent fell off. Needs some upgrades but not only a one night stay, so I survived.

I will start by saying I have stayed at this hotel before and it was not this bad before. I will start by saying I picked this hotel for the pool. When we checked in we were never told the pool was closed due to the filter being broken. We were informed two days into our trip. With that being said let’s talk about the room. I booked two rooms. One of our room was really dirty. There was a half eaten can of refried beans in the refrigerator. Bottled water that had been drank out of. Both bathrooms had used bars of soap in them. And last but not least one of my rooms didn’t have a smoke detector and it had a hole in the ceiling with wires hanging down. And it smelled like cigarettes. I brought this to the attention of the front counter lady, and she said that she would look into it. Then the following day which was day two we found out the pool is closed till further notice. And then I brought up the issues we are having with our room. the managers solution was to check us out and give us a full refund because I had an issue with our room, not having a smoke detector with kids in our room.The managers comment about the smoke detector was“ there was no fire risk”. And I said there is not one till there is one. But At that point we had no place to go 12 hrs from home with two kids under 9. So we had to keep the rooms. I am a step mom and an aunt first. And I don’t like when I am pushed into a corner. Safety first! Other guests has same issues.

For a holiday inn i would have to say it needs some updating. Also holiday inn has the best cinnamon muffins and this location didn't offer them.
