I'll start by saying the staff was great. Stayed here a few years ago so figured we'd stay here again while back in the Charlottle area. Unfortunately, things were not the same. I guess it's my fault for not looking at the description closer since the last time I was there. I workout a lot and was rather sore and looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub (which has since been removed, my fault for not confirming it was still there I guess)

I was on a 5 day business trip to Charlotte, NC This hotel was a sweet home away. The front desk was friendly and helpful, There are several great restaurants and a gas station within walking distance from the property. Lovely sittting areas, a great breakfast every morning, and the water bottle refill station was great. The place is spotless. The staff provided any extras i needed. 20 minutes outside of downtown gave me peace and quiet.

Check in was nice and easy, we rented the Jacuzzi tub suite. Our room was clean and the staff was really nice! They also had a complementary coffee bar and flavored sparkling water in the lobby open 24/7. Nice pool and fitness room. Cute little putting range outside and nice patio seating. The breakfast was really great they had hot foods such as eggs,sausage and potatoes. Toast and bagels and oatmeal bar which was cool. Yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit, huge variety of cereals and danishes. They also had juices to drink and coffee. The hotel itself was very homey feeling and quite.

Very clean I would go back again! The only thing that was a little bit of a bummer was that the indoor pool was ice cold and they had ac running which made it cooler when getting out.

Property was clean and room was very spacious. There once was a hot tub, seen in old pictures and still has signage to the spa...but, no longer. Pool was nice, but not very warm. Staff were great, breakfast was perfect.

The room we stayed in had an open bag of chips still in the refrigerator from the last people that stayed. No soap or shower amenities other than a bar that was open, broken and left on the counter with the wrapper sitting behind the sink. It seemed as if the room wasn't cleaned other than the beds and trash cans. There were only two towels in the room with no extra towels near the pool.

I stayed here for one night on the way to the airport. For that purpose it was fine! My room definitely looked worn out though. The bathroom walls had peeling paint, there was someone else’s toothpaste cap stuck down the drain, and someone else’s contact lens was on the bathroom floor. Finally the tub/shower floor was super slippery, kind of dangerous. They also had four pillows but they were really tiny, like half the width of a normal pillow. Pros: Staff were really nice, good location, and easy parking.

The facility was nice and the staff were pleasant but, they have the poorest housekeeping by far! I stayed from Monday-Friday and housekeeping never came by. I had to go get towels and bath clothes twice and my trash was never emptied. I even requested housekeeping and they still never came by.

This property has been recently renovated, but not particularly well. Paint was not scraped or patched before repainting, so you could see exactly how bad it was before it was fixed. Also the shower doesn’t match the reno, and I he light bulbs produced this awful cold hospital like blue tone. The furniture in the room was filthy, the shower was dirty, the walls were dirty, the floor was dirty in the corners, and the towels were stained and different colors. But the bed was clean, and that’s what I needed. Also the front desk attendant started ranting about how bad the 3rd party booking sites were, how if my name hadn’t matched my ID they couldn’t honor the reservation, and how the booking sites get people’s names wrong all the time. It was really unprofessional. But I slept through the night and moved on.

The hotel staff were wonderful. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and just as we expected when we booked. The hotel was quiet and we never knew anyone else was there (so wonderful) The only complaint I can say is the Internet was not good. We never were able to have good Internet service. Other than that , everything was great. We will stay with them again.

No grab bar in shower and tub floor was slippery. Also, no towel rack to hand wet towels. The door between the bedroom and living area had been removed - why? This made it difficult to let one person sleep while the other stayed up watching TV.

This place looks nice from the outside and has the potential to be really good, but it's just not. Some issues: (1) Our bathroom sink had almost no cold water pressure, despite plenty of pressure in the toilet and shower. (And no, it wasn't a matter of opening the valve under the sink; I tried that.) (2) The sitting/living area is interior to the suite and so is quite dark. (3) The clock in the bedroom didn't work. (4) At some point, there was a bedroom door; there isn't anymore. The spots where the hinges and other hardware went into the doorframe were just painted over. (5) Speaking of which, the paint, caulking, and spackling look like they were done by a poorly-trained monkey. (6) The bathtub spout was pushed out from the wall a good 1/2", which will create massive problems in the future (mold, deterioration of drywall/subfloor), if it isn't already. (7) The bathroom sink was missing the plug. (8) The way the bathroom is designed, it's really awkward to get out of the shower and maneuver around the bathroom door. (9) The hallways look like they've been banged into/scraped against for a very long time. (10) Folger's coffee. (Seriously?) (11) There had apparently once been an ice machine right outside out room. Now there's just a big ugly empty space. Positives: (1) The people who work there are relatively nice. (2) Areas were clean (kudos to the guy who works the breakfast area, as he really hustles to keep things in good order). (3) The bed/pillows are really comfy.

We will stay there again. David and Vinny made us feel right at home. The hotel was clean and affordable. Within the past 10 yrs, it was perfect to stay there. We drive back and forth from Michigan to Florida. Now we have a destination and know we won’t be sorry.

Do not pay ahead of time, that was the lesson we learned. Shower curtain was hanging on by a thread and when we checked in late all we wanted to do was sleep- unfortunately the main room light was broken and wouldn’t turn off. No one picked up the phone so we had to go in our PJs to the front desk to get a new room. Exhausted, we moved all of our things only to find the second room’s thermostat broken. They said they couldn’t give us a refund of any kind because we paid through Expedia. I was told a manager would call me to see if I could at least get the pet fee refunded as a consolation but haven’t heard from them. Overall it seems this property needs some serious updates so if you’re staying be sure to wait to pay there in case a refund is owed.

The facility was nice and the staff were pleasant but, they have the poorest housekeeping by far! I stayed from Monday-Friday and housekeeping never came by. I had to go get towels and bath clothes twice and my trash was never emptied. I even requested housekeeping and they still never came by.

The hotel was decent, and the front desk woman was nice. When I came she had to go help a guest in his room so there was a delay to check-in. There was a man who was walking around, whom she identified as one of the owners. I asked him what the hours of the pool was and he said he didn’t know. I later came and made a remark “that lady asked me the hours of the pool, laughed and said I have no clue”. He was surprised to see me there still. I found it arrogant and ignorant, being an owner does not make you a good leader and that was a prime example. I loved the location the best. This hotel sits right off interstate so hopefully you don’t get a room on that side because the noise might keep you up. However the location makes up for that because it is close to all the restaurants and gas stations. As far as inside the hotel, it was adequate. The pool and gym were not serviceable when I was there. My room with two beds were very roomy and comfortable however the cleanliness in the bath area was not acceptable. There were hairs in the bathroom and on toilet area.

This hotel is excellent if you are staying in the area. It is very easy to reach from the highway and there are loads of good places to eat nearby. It is clean and comfortable. The staff were excellent. And the rooms are spacious. My only complaint is that the rooms that face the highway get a lot of noise. We would definitely stay here again, but we would bring a noise machine to help us sleep.

We came here for an overnight visit to Charlotte. The room was clean for the most part. There was not any sheets or blankets on the pullout sofa but we called down to the front desk and she came up right away. Breakfast was ok. Not a big breakfast fan but the kids liked it. Eggs, gravy, sausage, biscuits and waffles, cerals and juices. The overall stay was great!! Will stay here again when we come back for carowinds in a couple weeks.

The front desk was friendly and helpful, There are several great restaurants and a gas station within walking distance from the property. Lovely sittting areas, a great breakfast every morning, and the water bottle refill station was great. The place is spotless. The staff provided any extras i needed. 20 minutes outside of downtown gave me peace and quiet.

We had a wonderful weekend stay with our toddler, who LOVED the jacuzzi tub in our room! Breakfast was really lacking, the eggs and sausage were gross to be honest, but it was a beautiful hotel and we truly enjoyed our stay.

We chose this hotel because it had the option for the in-suite Jacuzzi tub and had an indoor pool. This was just a mini weekend getaway after a really stressful few weeks of work, and we were really looking forward to swimming, but it was supposed to rain so we chose a hotel with an indoor pool so our plans wouldn’t be ruined. However, the pool room was kept at a very cool 75° (this is very cool for the south where outdoor temps are closer to 90° at this time of year) and the water was not heated. I think I could’ve dealt without the water being heated if the pool room was warmer - but even completely submerged in the water we had goosebumps. It was too uncomfortable to swim and ruined our plans to enjoy the pool. Which was a bummer, considering this was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. Otherwise, everything else was ok. We didn’t get up early enough for breakfast, and didn’t stay long enough to need maid service, so I don’t have any comments on that. The in-room jacuzzi tub is a nice feature, allowing us to relax and soak while watching a movie. The plug kind of sucked though, and wasn’t fully sealed, so we had to keep adding water periodically. But you usually need to warm it back up after a bit anyway, so that wasn’t a problem. The bed was a little too firm for our liking, we prefer a more medium mattress. The room overall was nice enough, but even set at 60 with the fan on constant “high” it never felt cooler than 70ish.
