It was an okay property for a one night stay. There was foul odor in the stairwell. The phone did not work. They didn’t have an iron or ironing board. They claimed they were all stolen.

I was pretty surprised to find a Motel so close to a truck stop that was quiet, clean, convenient, and affordable. The check in was really quick, which was wonderful after 10 hours of driving. The room was very comfortable and the AC worked quietly and efficiently. The true test of a clean room is to put your foot on the floor and see how dirty or sticky the floor is. The floor in my room was CLEAN! That helped us rest comfortably. Don’t be afraid to give Motel 6 another shot, I have stayed in several over the past year and they have certainly taken a step in the right direction after many years of decline!

This place is across from a truck stop so you'll get a lot of noise. The worst part is there's no hot water. The owner is too cheap to fix the boilers. If you like a cold shower daily this is the place for you!!!

Check in was great. The room though was in need of some help. The mattress.. super comfy but the outlets in the walls by the bed didn’t work, floors hadn’t been properly cleaned in ages.. the room interior just needs to be touched up and given a good look at and repaired. I’ll stay again but in a different room. The room was smoking which is what I wanted but there’s no ceiling vent system to help keep the smoke down. That probably needs to be corrected first and this is coming from a smoker. Location for us is key and we always stop at Kenly on our way to and from Florida for the winter.

This is the worst place that we have stayed at. The bath and the floor were dirty. The thin mattress was just good to be thrown in the trash. Once the door of the room is closed, there is a gap under the door which let the cold air in which caused the noisy heating system to run all night. This was mentioned to the hotel clerk when we checked out and she just looked at me and did not seem to care. Also, train tracks are close enough and you can hear the air horn of the passing trains (at least 4 times during our one night stay). There is also a truck stop on the other side of the street.

This is a perfectly adequate hotel to stay at when on the road. It was very clean. Smelled good with no perfume crap. No smoke smell. Bed was clean and comfortable. Check in easy and pleasant staff. It's close to the truck stop with every fast food restaurant you could want plus a regular restaurant. Easy on and off 95.

Room was clean. Booked for two person stay, and only enough towels and washcloths for one person. Room was supposed to be smoke-free yet there were cigarette burns on the tub Edge in the bathroom. The room also smelled of smoke. The toilet seat was loose the toilet seat itself was not the proper one for the toilet. Hot water was barely existent. When I couldn't figure out the air conditioner I attempted to call the front staff, with no answer. The phone barely work it was very staticy. I had to walk to the office . The clerk seemed to always be away from the desk when we pulled up initially he was outside on his cell phone. There was a slight language barrier.

We were only there overnight and left early the next morning. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the room and the cleanliness for the price. The value was great!!! Check in was quick an efficient.

I was a bit disappointed with my stay. There were no restaurants nearby, which made finding good meals inconvenient. The mattress was uncomfortable, and I didn’t sleep well during my visit. The hotel also feels old and in need of updates. Overall, not the experience I expected.
