Overall we really liked staying here. The only negatives were that the only hot portion of breakfast is one waffle maker. Second, the hot tub was broke for the entire weekend that we stayed. Otherwise, no complaints and those were not major things.

The hotel room was nice enough but the rug under the table had what looked like pizza or pasta sauce in a good size gob still on it. The pool and hot tub were open but they had a funky smell to them and the washer and dryer and vending machines were out of order. The washer and dryer posed a problem because we were traveling with a 10 year old, 3 year old, 2 year old and an 8 month old. We had to find a laundromat wash their clothes ( we thought we brought enough clothes) the hotel staff was very nice and accommodating and the condition of the hotel overall was good. Just a few minor points but overall a decent stay.

The pool and hot tub were nasty and usable. The pumps for the hot tub did not work properly and the water was green. Trash on the floor in the room and shower and commode were nasty. Found bugs in my room both alive and dead. Manager refused to come down and look. We immediately checked out even though a refund was not promised. They did refund us eventually. But right when you are ready for bed to have to search for another hotel when you have a doctor's appointment in the morning? Bad experience.

BED BUGS. This place charges everyone a $100 or more as a deposit and then doesn't refund it. That is the best part of my trip since they sent me home with BED BUGS! This place was filthy and I really didn't want to stay but I didn't have the energy to fight over it. I went to target got some Lysol and fabreeze and made the best of it. Never again. Trust your instincts.

For starters the room was unclean when we arrived to the hotel. When we entered the room it had a foul odor which we later discovered was from old fast food that was left in the cabinet. The bathroom was additionally dirty and had what appeared to be some sort of smeared substance on the walls. When we woke up in the morning there were roaches crawling over the bathroom floor and sink. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk their response was “What do you want us to do” This is completely unprofessional and beyond burdened me in more ways than an uncomfortable experience. They not only placed me in an unsanitary establishment they additionally left me with the financial burden of replacing all of items I brought to their establishment or potentially bring the roaches home with me.

First room had 2 roaches and of course they weren’t trying to refund my money. Moved us to the second floor and that room looked better than the first room. Needs upgrades badly. Took the cheap route “making upgrades” which made it look low budget and ran down. Mold in the shower where shampoo and conditioner dispensers are, hair dryer is dirty, hallways had faint smoke smell lingering, elevators had dust and trash swept into corners. Would not recommend staying here. I’ve worked in housekeeping for over 5 years and the only part of the hotel that smelled clean was the lobby of course. Gentleman that worked front desk was nice and helpful but the owner or owners should be ashamed with the upkeeps and I seen who was in charge so that says a lot about how the hotel current state is.

The real issue was having a rude, noisy, and inconsiderate neighbor who proceeded to blast rap music from at LEAST midnight to 6 am. Not only did this happen but 30 minutes after checking into the room a staff member keyed into the room without knocking leaving us terrified for our privacy. In addition housekeeping was very persistent on coming in after we told her multiple times we were in the room and didn't need it to be cleaned in that moment. I feel like I got what I paid for in a sense but small changes like training the staff better could have prevented many of the issues we had during our stay.

The light in the bathroom kept going off (due to the motion sensor), even if you were at the sink brushing your teeth, putting makeup, etc. Outlet at the desk (electric and for charging) did not work.

The room was nice, but not very sound proof. I could hear several of the other guest talking outside of my room until midnight and slamming doors. The bathroom was nice. The gym definitely needs some improvements the air conditioning did not work so it felt like i was working out in a sauna, the 3 machines were also very noisy while i was using them.

Room was clean but bathroom had no towel bars to hang them. Shower door would not stay closed during shower so towel got wet as i had to lay it on bath mat outside door on floor. Also there was a loud knocking noise coming from bathroom after use.

This definitely fell short of expectations. The bed is surrounded by a wooden box/frame that we kept hitting our shins on. The trim around the actual mattress is so prominent you feel it pressing into the back of your legs. The mattress topper is of such poor quality the lines from the pattern was visible on my body. I was literally in pain and did not rest well. The pool was clean and the hot tub was nice. I was hoping breakfastime would be better and was to start at 6:30 . We arrived 6:35,the lights were off and the room was almost full with workers also waiting to eat. It was just being set up. After about 30 minutes, it still was not complete. Someone who may or may not have been a supervisor came in in sweats and started directing the person and they went in the kitchen. When they emerged the server was pushing the cart with the food but the supervisor had gotten a full plate of bacon and eggs and walked around eating. By that time my diabetic husband was needing to eat so we went next door. There not even juice set up that he could have sipped to get his levels up until breakfast was ready. There was no point in trying to lay back down until check out because the bed was so uncomfortable. There was no one at the desk to tell when we left. All though the person who checked us in the day before was super polite and helpful, I would not return.

I feel like I got what I paid for in a sense but small changes like training the staff better could have prevented many of the issues we had during our stay.
The room was fine minus the tv not working and the lack of temperature control. The real issue was having a rude, noisy, and inconsiderate neighbor who proceeded to blast rap music from at LEAST midnight to 6 am. Not only did this happen but 30 minutes after checking into the room a staff member keyed into the room without knocking leaving us terrified for our privacy. In addition housekeeping was very persistent on coming in after we told her multiple times we were in the room and didn't need it to be cleaned in that moment. I have stayed at this location for almost 5 years; I will not be returning.since the old manager Nick left it has become a joke.nothing but terrible experience one after another. My last stay I got charged a $20 early check in fee but the lady in front of me did not.i was told it was the new manager and nothing she could do rudely. I am so disappointed because I could have been staying at much nicer places this entire time but I chose to stay at this clarion for the staff and the way they treated me and my family. I was under a guest that was moving furniture around and yelling all night…I eventually requested a room change… staff didn’t seem very happy about that… even threatened to charge me extra for a double room if that’s all they have… was not very happy about that since I was the one being inconvenienced.. and they seem to not want to do anything about the man in the room, yelling and banging furniture around.

It was a hotel. The staff was pretty unprofessional from start to finish- took about 15 minutes for the girl to wander to the desk after being called, they watched cartoons loudly with the doors of offices open to the breakfast area, there was quite a bit of trash around the property and the garbage cans were overflowing for the majority of my stay. On check out there was a woman at the desk who was on the phone with a personal call that didn't acknowledge me until I made a motion to put my key in the basket and then she told me to go ahead and drop my key in the basket. Overall terrible staff attitude and dirty facility. Lot of people loitering around at night, drinking in common areas with no staff at the desk past 8. Wouldn't recommend.

The room was decent, clean and the bed comfy. The AC worked very well cause it was hot while I stayed here. They only clean the room and change the sheets and towels every other day which was okay with me. But the walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors if they are in the room next door or have the TV sound on loud. Parking was good and the location is near a few eateries and stores gas stations and drugstore too. Reasonable room for reasonable price .

None of the doors would close without slamming them, shaking the walls, therefore, extremely annoying!! Interior bath doors the same. Elevators dirty with dried paint drips. At the hot breakfast, there were usually eggs but no protein left. Never any fruit! The lady must be on a tight budget-she did the best she could! Noisy in the halls at night. Heard loud arguments. Exterior always had trash on grass. Workers parked trucks in parking lot & played loud music & loitered all the time! I brought that to the desk but no change!! The worst hotel experience in my 66 years!!

Overall we really liked staying here. The only negatives were that the only hot portion of breakfast is one waffle maker. Second, the hot tub was broke for the entire weekend that we stayed. Otherwise, no complaints and those were not major things.

Do not stay here! There was never enough food at their advertised hot breakfast. No fruit. Lady did best she could-must have a low budget for food. Altercation in hall one afternoon/people yelling. We were afraid to open the door. People were ALWAYS in the parking lot loitering, playing loud music & hanging out in the back woods. I complained & was told mgr would be told-no change!! Staff was pleasant & they did the best they could however mgr turned his head to issues at the property.

The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The reason I gave the review was the breakfast and the pool. We went to breakfast at about 9:15 am. On the weekend, it was advertised until 10 am. Nothing was on the bar, the waffle mix was empty as well as no milk and limited everything else. The lady who was in charge of the kitchen had a bad attitude when we asked for more eggs and bacon. She ended up making it but gave us mean glares the whole time. The same thing happened the next day and she was cleaning up everything 20 min before posted time. The other issue was the pool. There was so much chlorine that it gave my son chemical burn. Not too serious, but still. There were kids in there splashing us the whole time and being loud. We eventually left. The front desk employees were exceptional. Every other part of our stay was great.

The smell of the room was musty and the air conditioner in the window had black mold along most of the vents..hence the smell. Dirty looking tired worn carpet, I saw someones discarded medicine underneath (in view) of the right queen bed with a plastic piece of garbage that i couldn't recognize! Neither of the bed lights would work no matter how we tried, the 2 different led bulbs were big and old and to add insult to injury, only one channel came on tv because the remote was so old even the buttons were impossible to read! Bathroom toilet and sink were white and clean as were the sheets. Old painted walls with crumbling trim and unkept grout was the bathroom vibe. The shower was so slow my husband had to use it anyway as his surgery was the day befor and he wanted to refresh.I chose to wait for my shower until we got home in 4 hours. We did not even think of the free breakfast in fear of what the kitchen may have looked like in the corners! We were tired from the long drive and surgery the day before or we would of left within the hour we checked in. Had i known the noisy people who occupied the rooms across and next to us were noisy until 1;30 am... we surely would not have stayed there. Never again will I use this hotel or any by the same name. I did make some of my complaints known on our early checkout. The young man said he would check the bulbs and remote but i know he felt bad and I saved the rest of my complaints for this review.

The facilities are well-maintained, the breakfast is well-supplied and good, and the staff are helpful and friendly. We found the room to be clean and comfortable with a good bed that made for a good night sleep. If in the area again, we will consider staying here again.
