At check in, we were told that the pool was under maintenance And there was no continental breakfast which was disappointing. I’m not sure if I would stay here again the rooms could use some maintenance but it was a good price and close to the mall and target.

My only complaint would be that the AC is old and very noisy. Bed was comfortable. Basic hotel, but ok for a night or two. If you can't do stairs, ask for main floor. Elevator not working. No breakfast here and Applebys next door does not open til 11

This motel is a budget friendly option. We have steered clear of Motel 6 for a few years, but were pleasantly surprised at this one. The hotel has a lovely pool/hot tub area. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. As a budget hotel, there was no breakfast onsite but the Denny's down the road was great! As a budget hotel, it also is need of a bit of tlc, but everything was very clean. I would definatley recommend this hotel.

This hotel was good. The pool area clean and well kept. The staff were excellent. However, when we crawled into bed - a bedbug appeared so we quickly gathered our stuff and checked out. The staff were VERY accommodating and refunded our money. That alone is worth something. We will try this hotel again once we believe the bedbug issue has been resolved.

I arrived to a room that had not been cleaned at! It had a terrible smell to it, sticky stuff all over EVERY surface, smears all over the mirror. My second room was honestly not any better - the bathtub was covered in someone else’s beard hair, there was a razor guard on the floor, the towels were used yet folded and put back on the shelf (they smelled like men’s deodorant at the top where you wrap it around yourself. I also had no hot water through my entire stay. The safe stopped working completely. The tv remote batteries were dead on arrival. The housekeeping staff woke me at 9:30 in the morning to clean my room then when I came back to a “clean” room, the bedding had just been tossed on the bed (not made) and the dirty towels had been folded and put back on the shelf once again. It was honestly all a hot mess. Used to stay here, but wow it is incredibly dirty now and I would never recommend it to anyone.

I was hesitant to book this place. And now I remember why. It’s a dump. It smells so funky! I thought maybe it was just the lobby but when we entered our room, it smells like dirty laundry. Yuck. We washed our hands in the bathroom sink and the water stayed in the sink.

The staff was nice But found a bed bug in our first room so got moved to another room, a suite .. a suite that hasn’t been opened in months. The suite had spiders everywhere, bathroom was dirty, very musky, and stain splatters all over the ceilings. Was supposed to get a refund on stay due to finding bed bug, but still fighting to get it!

I am sad because I trusted the reviews on Expedia to book, but didn’t read enough before placing. Downstairs bathroom didn’t work (which was only important because my kid needed to use the bathroom after hours of driving, elevator didn’t work, which was important because we were on the third floor. When I got in the room, there was hair still in my bathroom, which should’ve been my first hint. Then the bathroom had a half used tiny bottle of shampoo and no conditioner, again should have been a hint. I called to see about getting more, they said they would need to charge me. Then all night others kept trying to get in my room (to be fair not really in control of the motel), and finally I woke up covered in bites. Tried calling to discuss after immediately checking out and they said the manager I needed to talk to was in a meeting and would call back. They didn’t. Confirmed bed bugs were there the day before I checked in. Avoid this place!

Pool area and hot tub were nice, parking for large vehicles with trailer is convenient and it’s close to shopping. The room is not modern but it is clean with a refrigerator, coffee maker and maybe microwave (don’t use them). They don’t have cable but on the TV I watched YouTube and local channels which was great. If you’re traveling, this is a great place to sleep with some nice perks for the price.

Walls and ceilings are paper thin. We knew this was a budget motel so we were satisfied with the dated room, furniture and bathroom. King size bed was quite lumpy but the main reason for the 1 star rating is quests checked in above us at midnight and were so noisy, banging and stomping non stop. We had a 5am flight so did not get any sleep. Very frustrating.

The television did not work. The staff were unable to fix or replace. The toilet seat was totally off kilter and not attached on both sides. This should have been obvious to housekeeping staff at the very least. Beds very uncomfortable and air conditioner extremely noisy.

I was satisfied with my stay at the Motel 6 Minot. The motel building is surprisingly large. It's clearly not a new facility - some wear here and there - but it seemed clean and well maintained. The front desk people were friendly and helpful. My room was large, clean, and well-maintained. The only minor downside to the room was the view from my window (i.e., a bumper-level view of the side parking lot), but then again I didn't expect anything better. The motel does not offer breakfast (so those looking for a low price should factor in the purchase of breakfast elsewhere). The motel does not offer cable TV, just local over-the-air broadcast TV, I'm sure to economize. That's not a problem for me, except that in my room I had to go into the TV settings to switch it to over-the-air each time I turned on the TV. Net: A decent, inexpensive place to stay.

We checked in late and Kevin was extra helpful in making sure we checked in quickly. Earlier, we had some issues with our vehicle and were not certain we could make it to check in. Amanda was, again, extremely helpful in this stressful situation. Excellnt staff, clean and very accessble, hence very pleased with our choice !!

I have come to this hotel many times with business and Connor is always so friendly, kind, and helpful. i like staying here just for that reason. It makes all the difference

I have come to this hotel many times with business and Connor is always so friendly, kind, and helpful. i like staying here just for that reason. It makes all the difference

The only problem we encountered was at check in and staff apologized and went above and beyond to have floor vacuumed! Staff was so friwndly and efficient. Unfortunately so many places right now are understaffed and strained. In spite of all this they made a point to make sure our stay was amazing! Close to shopping..great parking..snow removal in parking lot was incredibly fast Pool and hot tub clean and enjoyed very much! I highly recommend the Motel 6 in Minot! We had a wonderful viait and will return often and stay here!

Motel 6 was clean, convenient, and modestly priced. Applebees is next door so dining was easy to access. There was lots of parking and it was well lit. The bed was comfortable, the shower was great, and it was quiet. They do not serve breakfast. The refrigerator in our room was very noisy. We liked the layout of the room. It was easy to organize for our needs.

The front desk clerk was super friendly. He was joyful and helpful- super pleasant! The area was kinda hard to park in as it was near Applebees. That convenience of a nearby diner, was more important tho. On Expedia, it says breakfast included but it was just coffee. The pool was great. I stopped staying in Motels due to no carpet in the rooms however, this hotel was carpeted and had a homey feel. Clean compared to recent hotels visited. Overall, would definitely stay again. Great price and the staff made it a high rate.

We booked this hotel because it said it had continental breakfast. It most certainly does not! Only lukewarm stale coffee. The hot tub was bath temperature at best. The bathrooms in the rooms do not have fans. Marking it either a foggy sauna if having a shower or the entire room stinking from a movement. The beds were not bad but the pillows were clearly old as they were extremely lumpy. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels in Minot and this one will not be stayed in again.

Elevator has been broken for 2 years, the ice machine on main floor has been broken for months, hard to get things fixed around there, I wish they had a continental breakfast even if they charged a bit more for the room would be ok, staff are great!! I stay here every 2 weeks

This motel is a budget friendly option. We have steered clear of Motel 6 for a few years, but were pleasantly surprised at this one. The hotel has a lovely pool/hot tub area. The staff were friendly, helpful and professional. As a budget hotel, there was no breakfast onsite but the Denny's down the road was great! As a budget hotel, it also is need of a bit of tlc, but everything was very clean. I would definatley recommend this hotel.

We found candy in our room on the floor & a dirty face cloth was left hanging from the shower head. They could have offered us a small discount for these reasons. There was no restaurant inside the hotel which is fine but they could offer a continental breakfast.

You get what you pay for. This Motel 6 was the best budget friendly offer. Location was great close to shopping and dinning. The pool was well maintained but the exercise room equipment did not work the rooms were showing their age. There were some stains on the bedding, we had 3 rooms one of them had a slow draining sink. The tv required 2 remotes to work, one remote would be better. WIFI was good.

For the price, this place was great. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot and powerful enough, lots of clean towels and 4 pillows per queen bed. I would stay again for sure. If the price was double, I would be a bit harsher, but it was a great deal. If you want the best in town, pay double the price
