We stayed here to park and fly. Staff was great and room was fine. The property is under renovation so there was no restaurant or pool at the moment. Shuttle service to the airport was quick and friendly.

Shuttle drivers were very friendly. Pool was unavailable for remodeling. No advance notice had been given. Advertised free breakfast was unavailable for remodeling. Again no advance notice given. Zero customer service at check-in. Slid paper across counter with key and said initial and sign. No communication or directions to elevators, rooms, etc. Very rundown and old hotel.

This is a very old hotel. They are remodeling the kitchen and bar so things are closed. They no longer have transportation to and from the airport. They offer park and fly but you have to have your own transportation to the airport. Think twice !!

They increased their park and fly to $35 a week and you have to park way behind the hotel property and cannot enter the backside of the hotel, you have to walk all the way around, which is near half a mile. It is -3 right now. Because of renovations, there is literally only 5 vehicles in the front lot as most of their rooms are not available. The pool and restaurant is completely closed. This is not on updated on Expedia. The front desk person has zero customer appreciation and actually was rude. The rooms heat doesn't work as there are portable heaters in the room. I won't be back and we usually park and fly a few times a year and stay a few times in fall as we drive through.

Horrible! The room smelled weird, the microwave was dirty and there was old food in the fridge. I had to go to the front desk for clean towels after 3 days because there was no housekeeping done and I had request housekeeping to take out trash etc. isn’t that the norm if you are staying a week in a hotel?

The room had trash overflowing from the trash can and a used napkin on the desk when I checked into the room. The room smelled like mildew. So I checked out if the hotel. Don’t let the online pics fool you.

Room was extremely dirty, smelled like an ashtray and as soon as I got to the hotel I had to ask the front desk for toilet paper. The shower was filthy, there was an orange ring from the last guests soap bar.

The floors were dirty. The room was “old” smelling. The room was stuffy….we like it cool, and you can’t turn the thermostat any lower than 68°. Beds were clean. Bathroom was clean, other than the crusted lime green booger that was stuck to the ripped up shower curtain.

The facility was very dirty and not up to date. Our key cards didn’t work so we went up and down the stairs to the front desk three times before we finally called down to the front desk and asked them to come up and let us into our room. There was coffee stain all over our sink as soon as we got into our room and there was filth on the counter. When we asked for help from the front desk because they made a mistake and booked us for one less night than needed even after having shown our Expedia confirmation, the receptionist told us he didn’t care about this place anymore and was so glad he only had a week left. LASTLY, two druggies ran through the building pulling the fire alarm from 2-3 a.m. the last night we were there before the cops had to come and arrest them. I will never stay here again. Save yourself.

We had a room with a locked connecting door to a neighboring room and we could hear them talking continually between 7:30-9:00am as clearly as if we were standing in their room. Arrived at midnight and left by 9am, so this review is for a brief visit.

The staff were wonderful. The bed was very uncomfortable. Seemed to eant to roll you out. Pillows have absolutely no support. There is no traction in the bathtub, which is a problem for is older people. There are limited ice machines on the property. They are remodeling the pool and resturant, but the rooms need updating more! Again, I could not have more praise for the staff. They were wonerfull!

We were given a handicapes room which is not what I had booked. The mattress to the bed (room 215) is beyond shot. We could actually see the sag in the bed when we entered the room. We were running late so I didn't want to change rooms.

The staff was nice and helpful, but the heating system was not working in a lot of the rooms including ours! They brought up a space heater in order be semi comfortable. Restaurant was also closed for remodeling.

Phenomenal staff! I am an avid frequent traveler with high expectations when it comes to my lodging choices.The customer service and attention to MY detail at the Grand Hotel goes unmatched. Your staff gets a 10 out of 10 rating. If I ever travel to ND again, I will most assuredly stay at this hotel. Many thanks for the great stay!

Front staff were friendly and courteous and very busy we waited about 5 minutes for service. We had to return the key card twice account they did not open the door. We were given a different room and it worked well. On arriving at the room there were three of us. There was 1 face cloth, 2 hand towels and 3 bath towels. There were 2 coffee pods and 2 styrofoam cups for the three of us but I’m not complaining because I didn’t ask for any more supplies either so I’m as guilty as the hotel staff.

The front desk clerk was unfriendly and lazy. The one that checked is in was fine but the other front desk person was so unfriendly on our checkout on the 13th. Also the service in the restaurant was unfriendly and lazy. And the restaurant wasn't even open on Sunday evening or Monday morning! Sunday brunch was cold! Overall awful. Never coming back.

Have stayed there multiple times in the past year and have had key card issues but not to the effect of being locked out of my room Maintenance did all he could to get me back in but took over an hr and had to wake up all the guests next to me so we could attempt to get in my room finally got in and packed up my stuff and went elsewhere Wasn’t even offered an upgraded room just we will move you next door General Manager had no explanation why or anything to make me want to come back.

The rooms were nice and restaurant was great. The person at check in was rude and slow. I originally went to to ask for a room and she said they were full. I went out to search for a room on Expedia and the hotel popped up so I booked it and went back in. She was short and rude while completing the check in process at that point. Restaurant staff and food were amazing!

The hotel was under construction and was very dusty. It affected our health so we had to go to another hotel in the area. The Grand Hotel would not refund us because we booked through Expedia. How do we get Expedia to refund us??

The young lady who checked us in was not very friendly or helpful. She didn’t greet us and gave us no information about how to get to our room, parking, etc. It seemed like we inconvenienced her from getting off her cell phone to help us. Although, everyone else was very pleasant and helpful during our stay.

It is our place to stay while in North Dakota! I like the location close to the airport and the staff is always friendly! Currently under a remodel and restaurant is closed.

We stayed here for the night as we had an early flight the next morning. Room was nice and quiet, and the driver took us to the airport with time to spare. Parking our vehicle there while we are gone is really reasonable as well

No shuttle service available the night i arrived at airport. This hotel did have construction going on which was stated but i booked specifically for the shuttle. No restaurant available, just absolutely disappointed 😞 other hotels in the area offered more for same price. Asked to speak to management but never got a response.

Had late check in (930 pm) Expedia did not have on site that renovations were being done and there were NO eating facilities when I booked. Walking at night not a good choice. STAFF WAS WONDERFUL and very nice. ROOM was very clean and no issues

The check in process was a bit rough... and the property could benefit from some signage as we got lost, had to come back down, then discovered we were across in another section... clearer signage could have helped. Overall the property is a bit dated and needs some upkeep but the restaurant was good and my son loved the pool! We felt safe and our room was clean.

The front desk clerk was unfriendly and lazy. The one that checked is in was fine but the other front desk person was so unfriendly on our checkout on the 13th. Also the service in the restaurant was unfriendly and lazy. And the restaurant wasn't even open on Sunday evening or Monday morning! Sunday brunch was cold! Overall awful. Never coming back.

Shuttle drivers were very friendly. Pool was unavailable for remodeling. No advance notice had been given. Advertised free breakfast was unavailable for remodeling. Again no advance notice given. Zero customer service at check-in. Slid paper across counter with key and said initial and sign. No communication or directions to elevators, rooms, etc. Very rundown and old hotel.

The property is located conveniently near the airport and has shuttle service. My only concern is it’s being renovated at the time I was staying and there was no breakfast served.

Conveniently located in Minot, close to everything. Some of the facilities are showing their age and the hotel rooms need an update. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Primos' Prime Rib was excellent!

We arrived at the hotel, approached the front desk to check in and the employee informed us that they were closed due to renovations and they did not have any heat. There was no attempt at letting us know whatsoever. We called every single hotel in the area and there were absolutely no rooms available at any of them. She was completely unapologetic and we were unable to get a room in Minot.

They increased their park and fly to $35 a week and you have to park way behind the hotel property and cannot enter the backside of the hotel, you have to walk all the way around, which is near half a mile. It is -3 right now. Because of renovations, there is literally only 5 vehicles in the front lot as most of their rooms are not available. The pool and restaurant is completely closed. This is not on updated on Expedia. The front desk person has zero customer appreciation and actually was rude. The rooms heat doesn't work as there are portable heaters in the room. I won't be back and we usually park and fly a few times a year and stay a few times in fall as we drive through.

The Grand Hotel was pretty quiet during our stay. Sad to find out all the renovations happening, but looking forward to seeing what the new improved amenities will be like.

We appreciated how clean the property was. We ended up staying for 4 hours and then just ended up heading back home when my flight got in. I got the hotel room for my mom and brother who were waiting for me to fly in. Since the restaurant wasn't open there wasn't anywhere for them to eat. This is fine but it should be very clear that these amenities aren't available when booking so people can then decide if they want to get the room or not.
