I’ve stayed here three times in the last year and have never been disappointed. It’s beautiful, convenient for walking to places downtown, and has a personality that you don’t see in other properties these days. Izzy at the front desk was fun, helpful, and professional. We’ll be back!

From the photos, I expected a more luxurious stay. No valet, outside the front door the sidewalks were disgusting with dog poo and pee. My dog refused to use the AstroTurf pads in front of the hotel. They were filthy. The room was okay, 3 star hotel room with a 1 star bathroom. Bed was clean and comfy. The carpet is so worn and stained that I didn't feel comfortable taking my shoes off. Bathroom is tiny and dirty. Hair in the tub from previous guest. Staff were very kind and friendly.

Shower was VERY low pressure…took at least twice as long for each of us to shower. Soap dispenser in shower was completely empty. Found a clump of hair on a ‘clean’ bath towel. Outlets for charging were very lacking. Good news is the bed was comfortable and the fridge worked.

Stayed here for four days (Sun-Wed). Building is historic, and while it shows the wear and tear of the time, nowhere does that affect the time I stayed there. If anything it added character. Rooms were clean, bed was comfortable, showers ran strong and hot. The TV situation is outdated, it’s only cable and no apps, and the cable reception is spotty. But I’m not here for tv. I did notice a seriously leaky ceiling when I was roaming around the lobby area, but it looked like the issue was being addressed. Again, it’s a historic building and has the issues of a historic building. Used the gym here, looked like it was newly remodeled. 2 treadmills, 2 elliptical, 4 bikes, free weights. Had plenty of gym towels and a water station, plus bathrooms and antibacterial wipes for the equipment. Nothing crazy but it fit the bill. Only went to the bar my first night I landed to get a drink to bring up, but it was clean and the staff welcoming. I passed it multiple nights coming back and there were always people in it eating and drinking, so they must be doing something right. Avis is a 5 minute walk down the street if you’re renting a car, and while the hotel has parking for $30 a night, there is ample street parking for $1 an hour from 9-9pm. I never had an issue finding a spot and never questioned the security of my car. Had no problem checking in early when my flights were rearranged and got to Omaha early, and again no issue getting a late check out. Would 100% stay again.

Outstanding staff, but severe mold and air quality issues forced us to leave early While the customer service here is top-notch, the environmental conditions made it impossible for us to stay. My wife and I are both highly sensitive to mold, and the air quality in the hotel caused immediate health issues for us. The Good: Exceptional Staff: The team on-site was warm, attentive, and incredibly helpful throughout our brief stay. Seamless Room Swap: When the A/C in our initial room failed, the staff handled the situation cordially and moved us to a new room right away without any hassle. The Bad: Mold & Air Quality: The property has a pervasive mold problem. The air felt heavy and contaminated, which triggered strong reactions for both of us. Overwhelming Chemical Masks: Management seems to rely heavily on strongly perfumed cleaners and heavy artificial air fresheners to hide the moisture issues. The resulting air quality felt toxic rather than clean. Final Verdict: The staff is doing the absolute best they can with what they have, but the building itself needs urgent attention. Management needs to invest in proper HVAC remediation, moisture control, and high-efficiency air filtration rather than relying on heavy fragrances. Until the mold and air quality issues are fixed, we cannot recommend staying here—especially for anyone with respiratory sensitivities.
