Great rooms, like the Sportsbook being separate from the casino and smoke free. Free parking is nice as well.

Overall, I loved my stay at the Golden Nugget. I stayed there for two nights and loved the amenities, including the spa, sauna and jacuzzi. I got a head/neck and shoulder massage from Jocelyn (sp?) and she was wonderful. The casino was a lot of fun. Ray the bartender at Bar 46 was wonderful; Chazz at the blackjack table helped me with my ignorant questions and room service was delicious. My only complaints was the spotty tv service with clear skies, and the room service menu says it's open on Mondays for breakfast, but their phone menu says they're closed. I was a little grumpy about that, but overall, I had a great time and would definitely stay there again.

No clock in room ??? Smoke detector for vaping and pot hums too much...Pool was closed, construction in parking garage never ending, just a mess..no security to rooms anyone can go up to a floor or rooms.

I loved the pool area. Nice and clean. Not to many children. The bed was so comfortable. I slept like a baby. I wish there were more access to more stores. But i had an amazing time

The hotel is beautiful and spacious, with great facilities and a pleasant atmosphere. However, the weather was quite cold during my stay and, since the pools are outdoors, we were hardly able to enjoy them. It would be perfect to have a heated or indoor option. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Although I understand Atlantic City activities are primarily for the adult population however I do feel the pool hours for 16 and under were not realistic. I believe 2 pm is a bit early and the reason I got was the bar however the bar was open nice and early and adults were drinking as soon as they opened. I also understand people may become intoxicated later in the day but 3-4 sounds like a more reasonable time frame especially on the weekends. It was a decent stay otherwise

Check in was less than easy. But the pool & H2O bar are spectacular! Free parking was nice too.

Renovated rooms at Golden Nugget are excellent. The view of harbor is good. That big pool is good and a bar, though super crowded on weekend, but still that pool is a an AC attraction. Like many casinos in AC it is completely filled with cigarette smoke on casino floor, apparently in Golden Nugget one can smoke everywhere. Few decent food choices: lillies asian cousine is good, that Patrick breakfast place is so so. Burger place is good. Steakhouses are decent. Big plus is a walkable distance to Borgata.

Great pool area 7 minute drive to the boardwalk

It was very clean and the staff was very nice. We will be coming back in the near future .

Staff very friendly. My bedding was dirty..actual DIRT like shoe marks on bedding. HOW DID housekeeping not see this. Room 832 ..TERRIBLE. We could hear room next door talking..like they were in our room. They were not even yelling. You need to do something about the adjoining room doors..ALL sounds come thru there. I do enjoy the casino and dining options. Thank you

Room was not as expected. Bathroom was not clean. There was hair all over the floor.

Horrible . Had to switch rooms 3 times. I got charged $250 two different times. Was never told there was a resort fee of 35 dollars either. There was blood stains on my sheets and blankets. My guest who drove all the way from Philly slept with in their car they were so disgusted between the hair in the shower and the blood on not just 1 bed, but of both bed sheet/blankets

This was an okay place to stay at for the cheaper price compared to other hotels. Food was good but cleanliness was not the greatest. Rooms did not smell good, smelled like mildew. Facility had gnats everywhere including in the rooms. You can tell they don’t really clean too well bc the furniture had dust and dirt marks on a lot of it.

The room Was clean but dark and smelled of smoke though nonsmoking (1211). Hated the sliding glass door bathroom. Didn’t afford privacy. Handle to sink broken on arrival. Spouse fixed that. Adequate for our 1 night stay. Could here banging from other floors/rooms until we hours. Pricey. Enjoyed our 2 meals there and the show we came to see. Was told about jitbey service which worked fair. Didn’t tell us to tell driver our destination. Took 2 hrs to get home from show at borgata.

It’s a standard casino in AC. The rooms were updated and modern, easy access elevators, and nice front desk people. The stay was during the winter so cannot reflect on the pool or hot tub. Check-in isn’t guaranteed at 4, and they said could be anytime 4-8. For a hotel stay that is taking away 20% of your evening while you pay the same price, and ruining your ability to arrive, get situated and ready for the night, especially if you have an event or reservation. For that reason I wouldn’t stay here again as the risk isn’t worth it to not be able to check in at an appropriate time.

The hotel itself is outdated, the room smelled a bit musty when we checked in. The showerhead was broken and no matter how we adjusted it, it would not adjust to a proper water pressure as it was always stuck between 2 settings. To add to that, if you shut the bathroom sliding door all the way, it gets stuck. My husband had to use his multitool to get the door open after I got stuck in the bathroom. We spoke with the front desk 3 separate times asking to have it fixed as well as requesting housekeeping service the room for trasj removal, fresh towels and coffee bar refills. No one ever came to look at the door or the showerhead, and the towels/coffee were just left in a bag on our door handle. We will not be returning.

The bed was comfortable and had the best water pressure in the shower! The room was a little stuffy, the air wouldn't go below 65.

This was our first time staying at a casino hotel, so we weren’t sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised by how friendly and helpful the employees we interacted with were! We stayed in a non-renovated (cheaper) room, but it was on par with staying at a Holiday Inn (our usual choice). The bed was extremely comfortable. One of the reasons we chose Golden Nugget was for the room service, and we really enjoyed that aspect. There were a couple things in the bathroom that needed minor repair, but nothing that affected the functioning of the room. Water pressure was strong. I think our biggest complain is that the walls are thin, and there were several families on our floor who were rather noisy up until about 11pm. It was great having free parking and being on the marina. We would consider staying there again if we are in town for another concert.

The hotel was very clean, and the check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. Hidea was absolutely amazing, friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. She is a valuable employee and truly an asset to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

The Front Desk Needs To Do a Faster Job On Putting The Deposit Back On Your Card I Checked Out On 10-20-25 At 11am And I'm Still Waiting

Took my 82 year old father to see a show here. The convenience of parking, having entertainment, restaurants, and rooms all in one place was perfect. It was a really entertaining concert and he was absolutely content. Enjoyed a very good steakhouse dinner before the concert and breakfast the next morning. The front desk staff and waitresses in the restaurants were lovely and provided excellent service. However, upon check in the tv in my room was on with frozen screen. I tried everything to turn it off on my own but none of the power buttons functioned and i had no access to unplug it. So I called the front desktop service line and asked someone to come fix it. They said they would send someone and no one ever came. I had to sleep with the tv on my entire stay. Very disappointing. I was grateful it was my room that had the problem and not my father's, as if it had been it would of really put a damper on the trip for him, as he is much more concerned about access to a tv and would have been really annoyed by a bright big screen over the bed all night.

My recent hotel visit was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. While the hotel was clean, the staff and service were a complete letdown from the start. Check-in was a nightmare. The front desk clerk was unhelpful and seemed annoyed by my questions. When I tried to make friendly conversation, she gave me an attitude. I mentioned it was my first time in Atlantic City and at the hotel, hoping for some basic information. When I asked about the spa, she rudely said, "the spa isn't free," even though I never suggested it was. She didn't provide any details about the hotel, its services, or how to get casino credit or a membership, which would have been useful. The poor communication continued with housekeeping. After a day out, I returned to an uncleaned room. When I called, I was told I had to request service daily—a policy never mentioned at check-in. I asked them to add my room to the list for the next day, and they agreed. However, the next afternoon, my room was still not cleaned. When I went to the front desk to complain, the employee was incredibly rude. He cut me off, saying, "this is the registration, not housekeeping." I had to remind him that as a customer, I deserved to be heard. My room wasn't cleaned until 9 p.m. that night, and the same issue happened again the next day despite my request. On top of everything, I paid a $100 resort fee and am still trying to figure out what it was for, as the service was terrible. The towels even had large holes in

I was over charged for the stay close 300 dollars. I sent numerous request about this issue to bothe Expedia and golden nugget to no response from none of them!

They charged us $35 fee each day. We didn’t understand why they charged us and asked the charge to the receptionist lady. Her attitude was awful. Asking questions can make you guilty and give them the right to scold. It’s not hard to be kind to others. And also no transportation around it. You have to drive everywhere.

We had a small issue with our room during our stay, and the hotel manager handled it with such professionalism and kindness. From the moment we brought it up, they were attentive, patient, and genuinely focused on making sure we were comfortable. They went above and beyond to resolve everything quickly and with such a positive attitude. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to guest satisfaction, and it truly made our experience memorable. We left feeling well taken care of and very grateful.

Its been several years since I stayed at GN. The check in staff were very unfriendly and slow. The hallway leading to my room looked like it hadn't been vacuumed or cleaned for some while. After coming back to the room after watch two shows on the Deck we found that the shower door was broken and could not use the shower. As we were leaving the next morning we dismissed. I'll never stay there again

We had a room issue when checking they gave our room away. The manager (Jennifer) was very helpful and upgraded us tremendously. very happy

I thought amenities could have been better … they did not have a laundry bag in my room and did not have complimentary bottle water… I did like the free self parking … but the restaurants were limited and the casino was ok…I wish the other casinos were in walking distance but overall it was a very nice resort

The Property is good and easy to locate. Pros: 1. Swimming Pool and hot water jacuzzi. 2. Casino inside and self parking @ no cost. 3. Mini average fridge. Great room Cons: 1. No Oven. Not even central a big drawback. 2. Little far from beach and other facilities like breakfast and food shops. Price was good I visited in weekdays but still lots of crowd was there.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very nice with a good view of the bay. The parking was free which is a great feature of this hotel/casino. Good choices for restaurants. If you want a quieter stay in Atlantic City thats off the boardwalk i would recommend the Golden Nugget.

I liked how the hotel wasn’t as big as the others on the boardwalk, therefore it was easy to navigate. And free self parking no matter what is HUGE

The "Other" Atlantic City which is the marina district includes Harrah's, MGM, Borgata and the Golden Nugget. The most premier part of this property is the Marina Deck live music bar and restaurant. It faces the Marina itself and is an outdoor paradise in comparison to the casino itself. Separated by a glass enclosed walkway insures a separate experience. Overall the Nugget is a bit dated but is well maintained and is convenient to the main Boardwalk as well.

Location was great… close to everything shopping malls and boardwalk. Would stay there again.

Great hotel stay. We were skeptical to book this hotel because the Golden Nugget in Vegas is not the greatest hotel. We were pleasantly surprised! The rooms were clean. The bed was very comfortable. The view was incredible. If you are looking for a hotel that is a little off the hustle and bustle of the boardwalk, this is it. Our only complaint was the fact that we could really hear our neighbors.

I enjoyed my first overnight stay at this resort. There were many choices in food and activities, although most options closed early on Sunday. You should probably bring your own food to store in the fridge if you like late night snacks. No microwave oven available. The pool area was a fun and relaxing, with a DJ , bar, and under water lounge chairs. Ordering a drink became difficult during busy periods. They could use more staff. The bayside DECK featured a live band. Several upscale shops and restaurants. The casino floor was the usual fare. Very easy to access via the Railway shuttle service/ Uber. Overall rating B+

In town for concerts. Hotel was reasonably priced. The two restaurants we went to were good. Met expectations, not amazing. Late night bands in the lounge and party vibe were great. Pool was nice.
