Harrah's Resort Atlantic City, A Caesars Destination

Rooms were clean, entertainment was good, the pool charged 27 dollars for guests Saturday and Sunday to me was not fair. Check in line was extremely long and very inconvenient. Overall the stay was pretty good.

The check in was quick and easy. Extremely friendly staff member that checked me in. Room was great, spacious and spotless. Self parking was easy and very accessible. Loved the bar.

Family pool was not open at they no longer offer reciprocity at other Caesar’s properties- sad child here and annoyed parents. Wish there was more accommodation for small children (literally nothing to do besides the pool- arcade is basically a toy store)

Love the adult pool , just don’t think you should charge your guests to use it during the day.

The room was clean, however we requested housekeeping services because we were staying a few days and they never came in. The indoor pool was nice but it’s not included and you have to pay an extra 20 per person if you want to use it, the only thing to do at night in there is the casino but every restaurant and bar inside closes early.

Only come here if you want to do the casino and eat at overpriced restaurants and have overpriced fast food. The indoor pool (while beautiful) is barely open and has a cover charge, even during the day. At night for their after hours event, they take away all the chairs and only cater to the VIP spenders. Many people smoke and vape in the pool area (not allowed) and security are oblivious. Bartender and event staff were nice though. No other entertainment onsite while I was there (Friday-Monday) except a poorly amplified lounge cover band. Smoke fills the Casino beyond the smoking area. Shuttling to their other properties costs unless you have their rewards status program. Rooms are nice and clean, but dark, and walls are thin. Could hear next door all the time and with the shared door, weed stench was coming into my room. Check in was also a joke as it says if you have the app you can self check in at the kiosk but that isn’t true. If you can get the machine to work, it eventually makes you go to the long line for a person anyways. Complete waste of time. Finally, if you’re looking for a bunch of youngish and attractive girls to meet or party with, this place ain’t it. As one of the larger and newer places in town, I expected a lot more and feel shorted. It is understandable why this place is cheaper than others, beyond a price break for not being in the boardwalk. It does a few things well, but everything else is the bare minimum and they don’t care about those on a budget.

The ground floor and lobby area Very Smoky. The family pool is free but small and crowded. The big pool from the website is only for adults and charge $20 per room /2pax only. Parking is $10 per day.

The hotel was very good, the only thing I didn't like was that they charged $78 dlls for services, etc. They should say it when the reservation is made to know if you take it or not., but not at the end when you go to check out .!!! the rest I loved the pool which we paid to use ..!

This hotel is all about hidden costs. We booked this hotel for the awesome pool, and the main pool ended up being closed for a private event all day. It opened at night, only for it to be reserved for their ticketed lounge pool nights where GUESTS have to pay for a ticket to use said pool alongside the general public. We tried going to their tiny outdoor family pool, and were told our "guests" had to pay. We booked a room for 4 people, each registered. Despite this, the hotel considered everyone after 2 people to be a "guest" that would have to each pay. Add in the fact that you're charged a resort fee when you can't access anything "resort-like" for your entire stay.

I booked Harrah’s for my teen’s 13th birthday and expected the reliable experience I’d had before, but the stay was extremely disappointing. The hotel feels old and poorly maintained. The self-check-in machines didn’t work, so we waited 15–20 minutes in line. Staff were kind but clearly overworked. Our Bayview Tower room was at the end of a hallway with a horrible, persistent stench. The room looked nice but wasn’t very clean—dusty bathroom shelves, beds sloppily made—and the vending machine was expensive and malfunctioning. The Coral Reef Family Pool was another issue. There were no clear signs, and after finally finding it, we discovered it was locked because staff were on lunch break. Multiple families arrived with similar complaints. When we did get in, the music was blaring due to a broken sound system, and the locker rooms were dated and poorly maintained, though the pool area itself was visually nice. Returning to our room, we found housekeeping hadn’t come at all. I was told rooms are only cleaned “upon request.” Later, while resting, a roach crawled across a pillow. The carpet was filthy with stains, and I barely slept watching for it to return. Overall, the poor maintenance, cleanliness issues, lack of staffing, and pests completely ruined our celebration. I won’t return or recommend Harrah’s.

We walked in and were greeted with the smell of cigarette smoke from someone smoking in the lobby. Our room smelled even worse of cigarette smell and a moldy smell. The towels were dirty, and all the linen had a smokey smell. We called to complain, and they were going to send up a machine to help remove the smell, but a guy showed up with some spray that just made the smell worse and advice to turn on the air to help the smell. We explained that the smoke smell was also coming out of the air system and in his broken English he said that usually works. We requested a room change, but they said we would have to leave and check in again, but we were heading out to an event and didn't have time for this. It just seemed like the hotel is content with the shape it is in and if you smoke you may have a better time than we did. We both woke up feeling the effects of sleeping in that situation and we will not return to this hotel, nor will we recommend it to anyone else. There was another couple we were there with and they had the same experience. The valet people were nice and very quick.

Room was dirty

The moment we got into the hotel the line was at least 70 people deep. Only a few people checking in guests. I attempted to use the kiosk but because it was through hotels.com , I could not. Then we got our room and it smelled like a smoking old motel. The bathroom was filthy and the shower had mold everywhere. Went to complain. I was told they would check it out and get back to me. No one did , we did leave for a concert so we didn’t get back until late. The front desk was empty so no one reached out or resolved the issue. Returned to the room for it to be 75° and nothing had been done. Who turned the heat on? No one knows. Upon checking out we received a 30 food credit to use in the 1hour we had left as a resolution. Not a good stay. I do not recommend it.

I went to the room and the rug had multiple items on it (lint, old food particles) and had not been vacuumed in a while, the edge of the bed was dirty, ALL counter tops had dry residue and dust buildup up. The bathroom floor had hairs on the floor. I had to go all the way back to the front desk to request a clean room. I walked all the way back to the elevator and went to another room. It was the same issue. Dirty carpet that was not vacuumed, countertops that had not been cleaned (smudges of dried liquid or sauce), a penny was on the rug by the bed, stained washed cloth in the bathroom, dust and finger prints on ice bucket. Just unsanitary conditions. Hair on the toilet seat. Yuck!

We stayed in coastal tower on 11th floor. Honestly room looked like pics except the carpet was filthy, Sheets not clean, bathroom floor had hair on floors, shower drain was stopped up, which meant only run shower for short time on and off. You can tell counters in bathroom and in room have not been wiped down in a while. Thank god I’m someone who brings own sheets, pillowcases and cleaning supplies when I stay at a hotel. So I was able to sleep comfortably. If I didn’t I would not have been able to sleep and hoping to get a cleaner room. Issue with keys and parking but they adjusted problem. The hotel overall was nice. Wish they had basketball court like they use to have and a larger pool for the kids. We enjoyed our stay and spent time at boardwalk which was very nice. Almost forgot half the room didn’t have power, tall lamp shade had holes and hallway smelled and carpet dirty as well. They need to use carpet cleaners honestly. On floors in hallway and rooms. Maybe we just booked a neglected tower. I just didn’t expect the filth.

We found a bloody hand towel in our room. The bathroom was full of hair and there was no extra toilet paper.

First room was absolutely filthy. Hair in the sink, hair in the bed and sunflower seeds on the floor. Was told by Expedia $127.00 due at hotel. Well that $127 turned into $172. O did i mention the phone was broken in BOTH rooms. Also shampoo and conditioner pumps empty. I would have complained but we had no PHONE.

Bathroom had mold, the water could not drain in the shower. The towels didn’t seem to be clean, some had big rusty spots, other people hair was left behind. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Quick & efficient check-in, the room was clean, but the Coastal Tower is dated. The others are much nicer.

Comfortable room with a good view seeing the ocean. Everything look clean and the staff was friendly.

It was mostly a good experience with quality accommodations, especially if you’d like a casino environment. The only drawback was, the rooms were sort of noisy. People can wake you up throughout the night.

Check-in and check-out was good except when we checked in the line took forever to move. We were on line for about 10/15 minutes before we got to the front of the line. Check-out was very quick. The self parking was good and easy. This hotel was very nice and we like the fact that it was not on the Atlantic City strip because it was away from the drama and noise, but it was close enough to take a 5 minute drive to get to the boardwalk. We really did like our stay and this was our first time in this hotel. Also, the king size room was huge.

I am disappointed. I booked a king, got there and they only had 2 queen beds available. The hotel was not booked solid! No cups in the bathroom to rinse your mouth out after brushing your teeth, no waters in our room, any other hotel I have stayed had waters in our room, the water pressure… was horrible…

The hotel was fine, overall. The tower we stayed in was cleaner than the usual Harrah's rooms and it didn't smell like cigarette smoke. The service was decent and they helped us find a room on the same floor as our family members. The room itself was spacious and had a view of the marsh, which was nice. The only downside was the sliding bathroom door. I don't know why places design sliding doors for bathrooms because they don't block any noise whatsoever AND there was a giant gap between the door and the wall. So if you were standing in the room and you turned your head, you could see the person directly on the toilet. TERRIBLE design! The parking garage also charged us to leave when we paid for parking in advance, because our room card didn't work despite them saying it would. So I had to call customer service after our trip and request a refund. It took them a few weeks but they refunded us the charge.

Check in service not helpful, book for 2 rooms I was only able to check in for the room under my name not for the second room I pay in advance with a third party, first time I have this issue with so poor customer service

Gigantic slow moving line to check in when I got there, out past the bar, tried self check in which it found my reservation but told me to go the desk so I wasted all that time. Apparently if the reservation and drivers license don’t exactly match because a middle initial the self check in doesn’t work. You really can’t program that out? Came back to check in at 11pm, still had a 20 minute wait. Waterfront tower is very nice though

Was over charged- Forced to used Kiosk to check in and check out due to the long lines - I was charged the resort fee (which was expected) but never given the wifi log in information- why did I get charged this fee when you are not providing me with the amenity. The booking was also supposed to include $ 5 off parking- which it did not- I was charged the full rate of $15 at check out. I was supposed to be billed $30 at check out and was charged $54.34

After a 4 hour drive had to wait almost 30 min on the check-in line to then tell me they dont have my room, and then threaten me with no room if i didnt take what yhey were offering as i was past there check in time (by 15 min), mind you i was on their line for 28 min. They offered no apology or compensation. The room was ok and the stay was fine but service was aweful. Their excuse of why they wouldn't help me was because i hadn't booked directly woth them.

Wonderful room with a great view. Clean and safe hotel. Many food options. The staff is not always friendly. One member of the cleaning crew, came to the room and open the door at 9 am when the Check out is at 11:00. He woke me up! Also the check out process is TOO slow. Only one person at the counter. We took 1 hour and we came “early” at 10:20.

Apparently, Housekeeping doesn't come in your room unless you call the desk to request for Housekeeping, which is ridiculous when there's 2300 rooms and there's no signage up to specify that you have to request Housekeeping. We were there for four nights, didn't have any housekeeping piles of garbage laundry in our room I found my own towels in the staff entrance. In order to talk to somebody you have to wait online in the front area to speak to a supervisor when there's 50 people waiting to check in.

My stay was great but the line to check in was absolutely ridiculous. Once I got to the counter the clerk was pleasant and friendly.

Room cleanliness was non-existent. It’s been a while since I’ve last visited Harrah’s on a stay, but the standards have unfortunately dropped drastically since last time. I had a quick check in on a kiosk, and after denying an offer for a suite upgrade at $69 (thinking I’d have the option to do it later), I went in my room and was disgusted. I had to come down and wait on a line for 25 minutes, (that never really goes away no matter the time of day). I was put into another room that wasn’t much better in terms of cleanliness. When I asked about the room upgrade, they stated they’d have to charge me $400 a night, that the kiosk was separate and gave offers they weren’t able to fulfill at the desk. Weird to say the least. Staff was respectful but they didn’t do much to accommodate or make up for the waste of time and nasty conditions. I won’t be back again. Some of the shops and vibes are cool but to stay here is a no go.

Nothing to complain about the only thing it is a little bit far from the boardwalk but nothing that I can. Ride could not fix.

Good location, parking is easy, just remember to pay for the self-park in the hotel. Don't listen to the valet, who will tell you to pay at the gate. Nice rooms, friendly staff.

I love this location

The property's location, accessible from the boardwalk, was approximately a 5-10 minute commute. While the accommodations were generally acceptable, certain aspects require attention. Specifically, the bedding exhibited signs of wear and tear, and some room cabinetry showed damage. The bathrooms lacked ventilation, which created challenges following hot showers, and the absence of a shower curtain resulted in water splashing onto the floor, rendering it slippery, even with a floor mat. Furthermore, the USB charging ports on the lamps were non-functional. Although the resort amenities were satisfactory, the potential for multiple surcharges, as detailed in the fine print, warrants consideration. The overall experience lacked a significant "wow" factor, and the additional charges felt excessive compared to the complimentary upgrades offered at other establishments.

Nice location easy access

First time at Harrah's and I loved it. First location was excellent. Harrah's Casino is by a bay and it was absolutely wonderful to just sit there and watch the sunset, the boats, seagulls. I felt safe to be outside and walk by the bay. Friendly, staff and the services were fantastic. I will be going back.

The property is off the beaten path of the boardwalk, but the drive is not to far and if do not want to drive or cannot there is a convenient low cost "Jittney" bus to take into town! the night life at the hotel was great, a really good cover band in one of the bars and the night pool was a vibe.

Room in good condition, Resturants excellent

We liked the casino and had a great time playing slot machines etc. The room was clean and well maintained. Express check-in/check-out was great. Though we liked the breakfast at the cafe, the service could have been better. The dinner options were limited.

I frequent this location often and only here when in AC. Especially for the indoor pool! Staff is friendly & efficient, clean rooms and location, and lots of good dining options. Highly recommend.

the rooms at this prodrty are very nice...check in is a bit of a sh*t show...many self check in kiosks were broken...food choices are limited...they charge you to use the pool even as a guest...casino is very smokey...other than that, it's fairly good value.

We were there for the US open pool championship. Our stay was great, Grace at the front desk helped us with staying an extra night, Christian the bell hop was excellent! Our room was great and clean! We ate at several different restaurants and all were great! The burger at Bobby’s was amazing! Would definitely stay again!

I liked the amount of restaurant options and the large space, doesn’t feel cramped

It provided what we needed, the bed was comfortable. Not enough cups were provided. Expensive for what it was, but that’s Atlantic City. Good dining available, AC Burger was excellent and reasonable.

The staff is super friendly! Great experience Food is great and beds are comfortable and very cleanly done.

Enjoyed all the dinning options even though we only tried a few. Beautiful swimming pool. Guests do have to pay to use but still worth it. The room was amazing we had a super soft king size bed and large bath tub and walk in shower. We also enjoyed a great view from our room. The casino had tons of slots to choose from and many table games as well. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back in the future.
