Residence Inn by Marriott Cherry Hill Philadelphia

As noted this is a good space to stay although a bit awkward to get to. We were surprised and disappointed that we were charged $10 to park next to our unit in an almost empty parking lot. A total unnecessary charge that was not noted by Hotels.com.

Hotel not in convenient area, breakfast fair, and steps going to second floor starting to wear out.

Property was clean and spacious. Convenient to shopping and dining. Multiple room doors and staircase rail were loose or unhinged. Property needs updating.

Nice rooms, a little nervous about the opening between the upstairs and downstairs, this seems to present an unnecessary risk for families with small children. Also, not thrilled about the parking charge that was not advertised to us.

Very low toilets are not good, grounds were not mowed, weeds and unkept, not a typical standard type of property we stay at

Lots of Young Adults that were Non Hotel Guests hanging around in furthest back of Hotel Parking Lot. Sitting in cars smoking and drinking passing it between cars back and forth. Called the front desk. They explained they have security. No one came. And did not see any security personnel for the hotel.

Kitchen in room was very nice except one pot was not useable . Breakfast was fair . Same selection each day . Staff was not overly helpful . Use of outside gym was a good perk .

Staff was not friendly at late evening check-in. The dog fee was 150$ (versus other Residence Inn's we have stayed at for 75$) and parking cost us 10$ despite the already paid room fee and the extremely empty parking lots. We had to walk outside to get to breakfast, which is unappealing in a hotel. We heard people stomping above us from our first floor location.

The pool was clean, but the hotel was off the beaten trail and it has a lot of steps

No cleaning, no fresh towels and a disgusting pool all 7 days. No service at all.

this hotel was nasty truly. i walked in and immediately knew we couldn’t stay. we found a new hotel. no new toilet paper roll, rust and dirt everywhere. hair everywhere, sticky surfaces, just awful. the hotel refused to refund us.

The room had a musty smell. Very dark

My wife found hair (not hers) in the shower, bathroom basin and kitchen sink. That almost ended our stay there. The rest of the cleaning was adequate. Second there was a small army of sugar ants in the bathroom that crawled all over the sink vanity and my wife's toothbrush. The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient

The hotel is in a quiet location. The staff at the front desk are friendly. The room we stayed in needs renovations. The bath tub appears dirty but could be old and needs to be replaced. The water backs up in the tub while trying to shower. The floors were dirty with hair, and the walls were stained. House keeping will only remove or replace linen such as towels on the third day. We had to go to the front desk for linen. Please don’t be fooled by nice pictures. This hotel is an overpriced worn out hotel.

The staff was friendly professional and accommodating. The room was clean, but the king size mattress was almost completely stained with yellow color circles that covered it... was told due to washing it??? Ceiling was covered in gray thick dust bunnies.. it was vacuum upon request. Breakfast was great.

I felt like I didn't want to take my shoes off or use any dishware or utensils. The room was very dark, poor lighting, ugly decor, weed outdoor areas, dirty windows, rusty bath drain and million year old plastic tubing on a weak stream shower head, no working light over sink or stove. Boring breakfast offerings. Never again.

The property was convenient for a one night stay for my daughter’s soccer tournament. Check-in was easy. I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the room though. I use Marriott for business travel and they are usually top notch. My daughter went to wash her face and there was an ant on one washcloth and then another had hair on it. I also noticed the outside of the refrigerator was crusty and had not been wiped down. I had to clean the hair out of the bathroom before allowing my kids to shower. I didn’t request another room. I just cleaned the areas that were below par since it was just one night. I wouldn’t recommend or stay again unfortunately.

Our AC was not working correctly which left it damp in the room and the tile a bit wet in the bathroom.

Got in around 10pm, front desk staff was very nice and explained perfectly how to get to our room. The room was even bigger than i expected with 2 full bathrooms, 2 big beds and a pull out couch, 3 tvs and a full kitchen.

I liked having 2 floors with 2 bathrooms and separate bedrooms. Also loved the full kitchen!

Spacious rooms. Comfortable room. Friendly staff. The only negative was a small bathroom. There could have been more room with the shower and toilet.

For an overnight stay close to Philly, the hotel was...fine. Room was clean, service at the front desk was good and breakfast in the morning was decent. Not sure I'd do more than one night though. Bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, and the walls are *extremely* thin -- in the morning we could all-too-clearly hear our upstairs neighbors' every word, alarm, etc.

Amazing stay, rooms are very big and was perfect for my family. Breakfast was very good too.

The room was reasonably comfortable and the staff courteous. But the HVac system in the room was occasionally very loud even in the middle of the night. The bath faucet did not work, only the shower head. The exterior stairs and entrance are in need of upgrades.

Mildred at the front desk was a ray of sunshine and a wonderful woman who greeted many with a smile and their name...You could hear Rt 295 traffic noise in the middle of the night if the AC wasn't on....Somewhat difficult to find the furn off to Old Cuthbert Road at night....But overall, Mildred made it a nice experience!

The room was clean and spacious. What I did not appreciate was the $250 hold put on my debit account. That was not mentioned prior to booking and I was not prepared to do so. I had to move money around to accomplish this. Then to find out will likely not be released for 5 days after only a 1 night stay! That is ridiculous and extremely inconvenient. I won't be staying at the Residence Inn again.

Terrible service over all. Left in middle of night. Tv wasnt working, told someone immediately first day, never got fixed and was there for 4 days.

Staff is condescending. Lock us out of our room second night because they wanted a second security deposit? Still been released on Credit card.

Was conveniently located. We did have a problem at check-in they gave us the wrong room and there was food already in there which belonged to someone with the same last name as me. Just a simple sorry that’s it! We had to wait for the other people to come get food!

Extremely outdated residence by marriot, the included breakfast was not good i stayed from 12/21 to 1/03 and never thought eggs could be overcooked 13 days straight!!!! lukewarm coffe same product all the time only the protein rotated, however the worst oart was the service, stayed 13 nights and not once the room was serviced, after multiple visits to the front desk and talking to assistant manager and the manager, they promised and nothing, after complaining a lot a semi refresh service was done, however they only brought 3 rolls of toilet paper and a roll of trash bags and left them in the dining table took the trash from kitchen and thats it, a family of 6 with 3 towels, i had to come to front desk and ask them to giveme fresh towels, since there was no service done i asked them to lend me a vacuum, which they did, and give me a fresh set of sheets for the beds, that night i cleaned the room with my wife since the housekeeping was not coming to us, after complaining once more manager told me they would send them to do a full clean, it was very early so i told her to send them in the afternoon, i get to the room amd 10 minutes later the housekeeping lady knocks on door, i told her i requested afternoon and she said they did not told her anything intold her everyone is sleeping please leave this unit for last one of your day, ends up not coming because the other units took too long and once again I was left with no service remember 13 nights.

We picked this hotel on a whim as we had to come to Cherry Hill to watch the Eagles win with family!! This property was conveniently located for us to visit family and get over to Philly. It was perfect for our family to stay and have our own spaces. With two bathrooms and two bedrooms for the price, this property is of great value. Our room while it could use updating was clean and we had no issues. We would definitely stay here again! Go Birds!

Love the location close to major highway.The breakfast was good. The price was good.

Limited dinning options in the area and difficult road conditions to access the property.

I was in the area for a family event and this residence inn was central to all of the family events.

Visiting family. Good central location, very clean, friendly front desk staff! Felt safe, room was nice and as expected. Bed wasn’t super comfortable but definitely good enough for a sound night sleep. Breakfast was useful so we didn’t have to go looking for food. Small kitchen was awesome! Stay there on most visits and it is safe comfortable and clean.

The only reason I give 3 stars is bc of the limited choices of breakfast offered.

The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, and there is plenty of on-site parking with a good range of amenities within a short driving distance. The breakfast had a good range of options but there was limited seating and food spills were not quickly cleaned up.

Loved the bi-level suite. Also loved the access to the recreation center. Only thing that could have been better was the breakfast service. We were given a paper that stated breakfast was until 10 so some of my family members arrived at 9:40 & the staff person refused to let them fix their plates despite the food still being out bc she said breakfast ended at 9:30 & she didn't want guests to get sick... meanwhile she allowed staff to eat the same food she denied my sister & nieces.

Staff were amazingly helpful. We were in town for a family funeral and were comforted by the great accommodations. Breakfast was one of the best we have encountered and left us energized for the day. The cleanliness and comfortable beds were a plus. Would definitely stay at this or another Residence Inn again.

Checkin in process is easy and staff are great! Room is clean and full kitchen is so convenient. Same breakfast every day gets old quick, but appreciated nonetheless.

Vacation travel. On our way back north, rooms are more suited towards a longer stay but comfortable for a night. GREAT breakfast options and wonderful staff.
